I've hired J & J for five projects over the past six months and they have done an excellent job every time. First, I hired them to seal a closet that was open to the attic. They worked quickly to seal off the space, keeping my kitchen much cooler. They kept my space very clean, getting rid of all drywall debris. Next, I hired them to repair some masonry cracks outside my home and repair plaster inside my home. They got both done simultaneously over about six hours. I work from home, and, even though they were there for a long period of time, they were unobtrusive and allowed me to focus. Then, I hired them to replace drywall in a room that had flooded. They cut out the drywall, cleaned out the mold from the studs, replaces the drywall, and painted the wall. It looks amazing now. Later, I hired them to remove a shower door and re-grout one of my showers that is completely tiled in, including the ceiling. Prior to their work, the shower was unpleasant, with many gaps and holes in the grout leading straight to the walls. They did an excellent job at an affordable price. Finally, today they came to paint my addition. The prior owners never prepared the concrete blocks properly. J & H scraped the old paint, repaired the mortar where needed, primed, and repainted. It looks great! Each project they did, they went above and beyond. When sealing my closet, Josh provided me with advice about some cracks I found while preparing a room to paint. When repairing my exterior walls, they repaired additional cracks I hadn't noticed. When repairing my interior wall, they fixed a patch on my ceiling. When painting outside, they painted some ugly utility boxes that made my backyard look like a utility closet. They're quick to respond with a quote (less than 48 hours) and are realistic about their timelines for repair. They will also recommend someone to you if they can't take on your project in the time frame you need it completed in. I highly recommend these guys. My neighbors love them too, every time they come by, my neighbors are trying to steal them away for their own projects.

He will add many, many charges and expect you to pay. You won't know it until you receive the invoice. He does not supervise subcontractors, and they basically can do any work quality that they see fit. I had to argue with him for 8 months over an HVAC problem and a faulty roof. I finally had to go to the Registrar of Contractors. They determined his work was substandard and unacceptable to construction standards. Be Aware! Be Careful. Also, make sure EVERYTHING is in writing with this individual as he does not always speak the truth.

He did it the right way....power washed the stucco, patched the stucco, scraped the the flaking paint off the wood trim, primed around the new windows, covered the doors and windows,cleared the rock and soil from the stem wall. Then he painted. 2 coats. 1 sprayed on 1 rolled on, for full coverage. After they cleaned and removed all of the drop cloths and spray barriers, they put my potted plants and BBQ back into place.
