Amazing brewery hidden in an industrial area-we took a detour off of the Tammany Trace Trail on our bikes to find it. The barkeeper welcomed us, as well as the other regulars at the brewery! Great brew offerings. I had to have a root beer since I'm a lightweight when drinking & bicycling! We loved the vibe of this spot-we are now in the ChaFUNkta tribe!

Cool, chill place to have a good beer. Worth the drive but don't let the warehouse vibe fool you (It's in warehouse), it's a great place.

Love the craft brews! Nice atmosphere. Bee's Knees is a great choice of beers! Baba Yaga stout is great as well.

We bicycle rode here while on the Tammany Trace Trail-worth the stop! The tastes were great, finally choosing the Old 504, their vanilla porter. Our beer-tender, Toni was good. Located in a industrial park, Chufunkta has a relaxed atmosphere with lots of seating, games, televisions. Friendly patrons told us a better way to get back to the bike trail (leave/enter near the bike culvert instead of taking the highway). We enjoyed our Chafunkta experience so much, we bought a tshirt & sticker to honor them!

Great brewery with excellent beers, friendly staff. Food trucks on occasion and great music.

I love this place! I've been going pretty much since they opened. The owners are super friendly and obviously passionate about Brewing. Josh always has something new and delicious on tap! Definitely try the Old 504 (a vanilla coffee porter) or the Lemmings New England IPA. But really, you can't go wrong. Also, they sell to-go crowlers so you can bring your favorite beer home with you!

Beer was pretty good. They have a pretty good setup to order from the table. No one is allowed to order from the bar. Signs all over say to wear a mask. Oddly the only person not wearing a mask is the bartender which seems to defeat the purpose. She brings your beer order to your table and hands it to you without a mask. Disappointed in the contradictory policy.

We love this little Brewing Company. We have came for beer tastings and at this event we tried lots of different beers celebrating their anniversary. There were food vendors from the local area that provided food to go along with the beer tastings. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and since this is still a pretty small company you always feel like family. If you are in the area call and find out when they will have tastings.

Great beer, cool joint. Just a roll up garage with a small bar and a couch in the back. It's what a craft beer micro tap room should be!

How do you beat good beer with great friends and your pups? I don't know, but if you figure it out,…read moreyou'll make a million bucks, for sure. I love going places with Freckles McWolfington III, esq. He's my best little buddy and is always up for a ride in the truck, especially if it involves pets from strangers. Freki has got to be the friendliest pup I've ever met - if you see us out, be sure to say hi! The brewery is big and spacious, often hosting trivia nights and parties, and they showcase a LOT of great beer on tap. I'm kind of stuck on the AndyGator, but the selection is crazy huge. Come in and get a flight or two, bring your DD, and promise to switch roles on the next visit - that's how you brewery responsibly! Or Uber, someone's out there waiting to hear all about your visit as they drive you home. Love the folks here - the service is always terrific. No rush, take your time, ask questions, talk taste...these guys got you, man. We love to hang here because of the dog park area just outside, where you can sit in the shade, enjoy that beautiful dark golden brew, and watch your dogs check out every square inch of prime sniffing real estate. My little dude loves to watch for new people, so when you see him run - he's a chonk, but he's still a runner - up, give him a scratch and "good boy," he's gonna love it. On occasion, there's a food truck parked outside with tasty snacks, like the amazing pesto chicken sandwich I had a few weeks ago. The Abita Brewery is definitely a keeper and way up on the "repeat visit" list.

I went to Covington Beer Garden with friends for some holiday day drinking and eating. You know,…read morethe kind of thing civilized people do when they have a day off and no real responsibilities for a few hours. I had been wanting to try this place, and overall I am glad I did. First, the place itself is pretty great. Lots of seating, a cool inside area, a nice outside area, and a setup that makes you want to hang out for a while. This is not one of those places where you walk in, have one drink, and immediately start wondering where else you should go. It feels like a place built for staying. The staff was friendly too, which matters when you are there with a group and everyone is ordering different things, moving around, and generally being a mild inconvenience. Now, about the drinks. The selection was solid. Not bad at all. But with "Beer Garden" in the name, I expected a little more beer. Maybe that is unfair. Maybe I am being too literal. But if you call yourself a beer garden, I am going to expect a beer list that makes me stop and think for a minute. This one did not quite do that. That said, the frozen drinks were fun and would be great in the summer heat. But the food. The food was excellent. I do not know that I expected the food to be the best part, but it may have been. The chicken sandwich special was outstanding, the cheese fries were exactly the kind of bad decision that makes you proud of yourself, and the pulled pork bahn mi was really, really good. I would go back for the food alone, which is not something I expected to say about a beer garden. Overall, Covington Beer Garden is a very good spot. Cool venue, friendly staff, fun drinks, and better food than it probably needs to have. I wish the beer list was a little more expansive, but that is really my only complaint. I will definitely be back.
