Not only do the staff avoid you if they don't want to talk to you about an issue they have caused. But their placement department has truly declined. They will not alert you of any changes made financially. The management is SO SKETCHY all around. BEWARE IF THEY OFFER YOU THE STUDENT LOAN. They will not abide by the original agreement. I entered a financial contract with The English Nanny and Governess School in 2015 to pay back a student loan that they had awarded to me, I signed a legally binding contract with the school for my repayment plan. Recently I have had financial hardship and contacted the school in a timely manner via e-mail and phone to let them know if I was unable to pay for any reason. With this notification I also gave them a specific date or time period when I would be able to resume payments. However English Nanny and Governess School management has repeatedly harassed and threatened me with undocumented fees as well as threats of lawsuits over my financial hardship. These continuous negative interactions have caused me severe distress. Also the school and I mutually came to an agreement on a specific and consistent withdrawal date (that was also in writing)for funds to be taken out of my bank account that the school has failed to abide by. The English Nanny and Governess School now refuses to give me any notification of when they will be withdrawing funds or even if they will be withdrawing on the agreed upon date. This school is not what it seems and even as a graduated student I would not recommend it at all. All of the negative reviews I read prior to attending definitely proved to be true. Other prior students have said the same as well and you can't deny they crazy amounts of lawsuits and controversy the school has been involved in. Hopefully they do improve their business practices in the future.

I've learned a lot and the instructors are wonderful! Plus, studies prove that creating art is good for everyone, no matter your skill level! If taking classes isn't your thing, you can browse the shop for gifts by local artists or attend the yearly art fair, Art by the Falls that Valley Art Center sponsors. Or shop the gallery for works by local artists. It's a wonderful way to decorate your walls with truly unique works. Why grab a mass print at a chain store when you can buy one of a kind? And if you don't see something just right on your first visit, come back. The art in the galleries and shop changes regularly. My daughter came away with a healthy amount of knowledge and life skills for a job in childcare and home management. The schools promise for placement leaves something to be desired. My daughter has interviewed with multiple nanny agencies on her own in pursuit of placement. The problem seems to lie with the folks who manage the school financially, not the actual educators or students. Unfortunately, the tarnished reputation of the school is likely going to affect those same educators and graduated nannies.
