Not only is the class itself great in terms of the varied types of yoga in each class, I find Josh's spiritual words empowering.

The instructor Connor had an amazing playlist and we sweated our asses off in the Hot Mat Pilates class! Overall great bonding experience alongside my cousin. I booked my hot Pilates class through ClassPass. This was my very first class, everyone was accommodating. Be prepared for the heat though. The temperature in class was set to 101 degrees, with a few heaters on as well. Mats, towels and equipment needed for instructor led class was provided as well, free of charge. The facility was clean and had a zen vibe to it. The instructor moved around a little bit during the class and provided short breaks as well for sips of water or towel off. Modifications were also provided if the workout got too difficult, especially for a newbie like me. At the end of class the instructor provided a cool towel for face and neck and antibacterial wipes to wipe equipment used. Overall this was a good class with moderate difficulty level and i plan to return. Be ready to get your sweat on!

I've been so excited to check this place out given the reviews. But I have never had a worse…read moreexperience somewhere. I really feel like I have to share this I booked an 8:15am Vinyasa class in what I thought would be a refreshing, fun new experience. I arrived early to a pretty big parking lot for a standalone business. Parked in a corner spot along the left wall. I parked at the same time as a girl who said hi to me as we both got out of our cars. She ended up being the instructor. The studio was big inside. However, I noticed it was heated. It didn't specify this in the class description. It just said "Vinyasa". I would have liked to know though so I could mentally prepare better, but I'll live. Out of everything else that happened here, I'll take this 100 times. So I set up in the back. I had an older lady next to me. Couldn't hear majority of the class due to the music being so loud/being in the back. So I felt a little clueless at times. It also smelled so bad, like feet & sweat and straight up uncleanliness. 15 minutes til the end of class, I start to get tired. I'm catching my breath & taking a break (as I wasn't really prepared for a hot yoga class anyway). I had my phone on the lowest possible brightness you could have it, I checked it for maybe 20 seconds. When all of the sudden the older lady next to me rudely snaps at me saying, "you know there's no phones allowed here. right?". I said to her, I have kids. She rolled her eyes at me. So I told her to mind her business. Because what? I have so many questions. I couldn't chill at the end when we did Savasana. I ended up leaving at 9:13. Only to come out to the parking lot & I'm completely blocked in. & my phone screen conveniently & randomly froze during this time. So I wasn't able to get a picture of it. The one girl behind me left. But I still couldn't fully reverse; there was another car next to her that needed to move for me to leave. It's 9:22am at this point, class ended 7 mins ago. I thankfully allotted time for me to afford a little runoff, but I still didn't want to sit there not knowing when I'd be able to leave. So I finally saw the owner walking towards her car, she unlocks it, sees that she's blocking me in, sees I'm in reverse. Waiting, patiently. I'm not being rude or rushing, just waiting. & then she suddenly just closes her door, locks it, & starts walking back to the studio. So I open my car door, & yell "hey can you please move your car?" and she says "yeah I just have to get something inside". Not concerned, no sense of urgency. But she comes back. I don't have music on so I can hear everything. & I hear her say out loud "why the f*** did you park there". Oh? Wow. So I opened my door & I said "It's my first time at this studio, sorry". Like? Seriously wow. And there's no sign, nothing that blocks that spot off. Not the instructor - who parked next to me & at the same time as me - let me know, 'hey don't park there'. Nobody and nothing alluded to me not parking in that spot. Yet I was still blocked in & cursed at. I also want to mention that even with the amount of people & cars in this lot, there was still room to make another row/fit the 2 cars that were behind me blocking me in, in the middle of the lot. It was just completely unnecessary. But not once was I rude about it or disrespectful. Yet I was met with nasty, disrespectful & quite the opposite behavior that I'd expect from people just coming out of a supposedly "reputable" yoga studio & class. I booked this class to feel better about things going on in my life & honestly I felt better before I took the class. I regret coming. It set my day off to a horrible start & the only positive out of this is knowing now that I don't have to ever come back. 0 stars if I could & please treat people with kindness. First & last class here.

After I had a…read moresurprise baby at 40 I was searching for a new self-care routine and I found this studio. I was leary of hot yoga studios because as a second-generation certified yoga and meditation teacher myself, I knew that hot yoga could be dangerous and counterintuitive to what yoga truly is, but when I walked in and spoke with the owner, I could tell that HYD was not one of those places. After I took my first class I was hooked and that was three years ago! My favorite classes are the 26&2, Pilates, and Yin. There are plenty of different classes- something for eveyone and I never feel like I will get injured from taking any of their classes. The room is at a sustainable and safe temperature which is of utmost importance! Many other hot yoga studios are way too hot which is dangerous. This is a mom and pop yoga studio that couldn't be run better. If you're curious, give it a try and if you keep coming back your life will change for the better. The community aspect is one of my favorite parts of this wonderful studio- the cherry on top!
