The first band was Brielle Aguila, and the second band was Yaima. Check them out, good stuff. The place is nice and large, plenty of parking for a small concert. The organization was also pretty good, and there was healthy food available from a local chef. I was impressed with the event. I loved going to this yoga studio when I was staying in Delray this summer. It's a chill vibe, no pretentious teachers or customers. Most clients are retired or older with a few younger folks. I just love this place! I've been to the sunrise flow class, vinyasa flow, mantra flow, yin yoga and they are all amazing! They even have yoga for kids on Sunday! So cute! Each instructor I meet has such a passion for teaching and practicing yoga. Attended a cacao ceremony. I thought it was very expensive for what it was. I liked the style and information of the woman who led the ceremony. I liked the song of the man sitting next to her that was very beautiful. The energy was nice. The property was lovely. The fire was a nice touch. It was a lovely little place and nice to visit just felt it was very overpriced and we had to leave cuz we were hungry. There was no food or liquid refreshment served. You could purchase kava drinks at the end outside for $5. If there was a meal that might justify the price. Can't say I would recommend it based on value. There were three of us for $99. It was our first time there. And my thoughts here represent our consensus. I think even if you charged $18 for the event and sold food and drinks that would have been more agreeable to our opinion. Casa Manabliss is home. It is love. It is acceptance. It is full BLISS. I joined the teacher training this winter and I'm not sure how I did life before this training anymore. I have transformed on not only a physical level but a spiritual and mental level as well. I went into the training wondering why I was there and if I was truly worthy...how could I be a yoga teacher if I couldn't even do a wheel....but Darnelle and Gen taught me so much more than the physical asana. I attended a sister new moon ceremony may I add I'm a beautiful black women with amazing blue eyes and a even better spirit. I was excited to attend. I walked in and the two host never greeted, never said hello hi or anything! Rude. A bit awkward.. I forgot I was in a place where being a sister was okay unless your black. I felt so bad and out of place. It's very sad we live in a world and even have places like this who can talk about love and being spiritual until your black. If your gonna love.. love all! From the first class I went to nearly a year ago I was hooked. The atmosphere has so much positive energy and love. The teachers are amazing. There's a new teacher there named Summer who is just so amazing at what she does, so caring and is able to modify for positions for people like myself who aren't as flexible. For a place that boasts about being community oriented, they have very little respect for those within the neighborhood. They play loud music late into the evening several times a month without giving neighbors notice. They do not even post a schedule online to let the general public know when they will have late night gatherings. Obviously, it is for their private use and if you do not pay them for their membership services, you are completely disregarded, or in Casa Mannabliss' case, the entire neighborhood is disregarded. They've completely failed to even give any type of introduction to the people who ought to be of some importance, as we live closest to the business 24/7.
