The facility I attend (Doylestown) is smaller and cozy, and I typically arrive 10 minutes before my appointment. I am usually seen in about 10 minutes, and setting up appointments is no hassle. My favorite thing about this place is that my doctor (Dr. Lewcum) is knowledgable, but also quick with his services. He takes his time answering my questions and making sure my needs are met, but it's a very to the point appointment. I recommend it to those who don't want an overly invasive doctor, but someone who knows his stuff.

Went in for unexplained, extreme fatigue. Begged for answers and got the run around. Begged for a sleep test to rule out sleep apnea. Never knew my own care would be a debate about how fat I am, and how much GLP-1's would 'benefit me'. I have PCOS for context. This doctor would not take NO for an answer and kept pressuring me to try GLP-1's. I even snapped at her, and she got mad! By the point I was seeing her, this had been affecting me for 8 months--and effecting every aspect of my life, especially work. I will never come here again between this treatment and the sudden additional charges. Putting 2 stars for some nice employees.

That said in an emergency or the prospect of a significant problem his referrals have been, with one exception, the right fit specialist or appropriate higher degree of intervention for me. As a result conditions that could have been life altering if not threatening were diagnosed early with positive outcomes. As to the staff Barb has always been warm, efficient, and I dare say caring. I have had "emergency" treatment with Dr. Blore when Dr. Ferrara was not available and found the same level of care. Contrary to other posts, little to no wait time with polite, complete explanations of problem and treatment. Willing to do as much as comfortable with before getting specialist involved. Dr Joseph Ferarra has been ignoring my PT, who isn't putting the rib back in place until she is sure there is no bone involvement. That means every day since 6/9/26 (four days as of this review) that I have been in pain has been 100% unnecessary. Literally all he has to do is write an x-ray script. His office is dodging my calls. He is ignoring my messages. As my mom puts it, doctors are gods in their own minds alone. I wish him the same kind of care he showed me.

I was able to get an appointment quickly, and everything was handled in a very professional manner. The doctor looked at some of my recent lab work, and after requesting updated lab work, which by the way she had the results and emailed me in less than three hours, suggested I may be able to get off my cholesterol medicine as my numbers were so good. Absolutely everything I have needed or requested was handled in a quick and efficient manner and I would highly recommend both the doctor and the practice to anyone seeking a new primary physician.

I've been seeing him for over two years and I'm impressed by his care. He spends a great amount of time explaining kidney issues with his patients. I am a bit concerned with the staff communication. I've been put on two different medications for my Chronic Kidney Disease. Farxiga and Jardiance. In both cases the medicines are very expensive. I required a pre-certification from my insurance (Aetna). Originally I received three weeks of samples of Jardiance after Farxiga did not agree with me. (causing severe pain in my back and groin pain). The staff was extremely stagnant on obtaining the pre-cert. it took me over 2 weeks and numerous calls to the pharmacy, Aetna and the doctors office. Ryan finally took care of this. After final approval for Jardiance it was creating blood in my stool and have been light headed. I've discontinued the use of both these medications. I also tried to make an appointment after the original prescription for Jardiance for a year out as per the doctors instructions. The receptionist informed me "their system doesn't allow them to schedule that far out" I should call back in January of 2026". I found that odd. I believe they may be understaffed, therefore causing some internal issues. I do have concern with one of the staffs performance. I don't know her name. Two weeks trying to get approval and having the paperwork done properly (pre-cert). Thanks to Ryan the process was finally handled quickly. Although I highly recommend the doctor himself there needs to be some updates to their systems and the staff members trainings. If in the hospital and Dr. Vernace is there you are in great hands!
