Military veteran that advertises just that but doesn't offer military discounts ... doesn't make any sense.

Meanwhile Lowe's will work on paint until you have what you need and take anything back without a hitch. Honestly, it's mostly always the older man who's been working there for years, who is unfortunately probably a manager. Everything is overpriced (as to be expected), but just this morning I went in to exchange a $35 QUART of paint (which is crazy) because I got the wrong sheen last night. I hardly even touched the paint and told him I'm sorry I just got the wrong sheen and he basically said too bad so sad. Looking my can of paint up and down like it was an alien. I said nothing but thanks anyway and left and I will not be back. Why would I want to buy overpriced items to then be treated like a nuisance instead of a customer just trying to get what they need? Anyway, don't come here unless you have money to throw away so you're not treated like a rat for making a mistake buying their products.

They have both throwback items as well as the latest gadgets. The staff is always friendly, available and helpful. They don't know me by name yet, as Harry's staff did, but I trust that will come with time.

This multiroom warehouse offers a plethora of bits and bobs from donated and gathered home improvement wares. One time I picked up an old door, an old timey facet head and some hinges. From these super economical finds, I was able to fabricate a garden gate, using the faucet as a creative spin on a traditional doorknob or latch. I love it. Recently, I eye spied, a partially used tub of tile adhesive and several random tiles. They'd be the perfect solution with someone with a tiny bathroom or counter top that needed sprucing up. You can find doors, windows, screen, light fixtures, tiles, wood, paint, and a whole host of parts that you can't pick up at any big box store. Think of the green project like a thrift store for your house or creative endeavor. Be patient and diligent, as it can be hit or miss.

The Green Project is essentially a graveyard of houses that have been sadly torn down and the remaining good parts salvaged which allows current homes to be repaired with the remains of destroyed ones. The biggest negative here is the sticker shock prices of many of the items as you are no longer getting good deals on many of the items which might have been much more possible right after Hurricane Katrina.

He starts off with his rant about my propane tanks have to be brought in an weighed. Which they ask of you if you have the standard 5 gal tanks mine were the 7 1/2 gal tanks which are not required to be brought in and weighed. So I refused to bring them in to which Michael insisted they be weighed or not serviced. As Michael retrieved the tanks from my truck he brings them inside an says you can't fill these tanks their expired. Which is a complete LIE these tanks were purchased from that same Ace in 2021 we can assume he thinks all black look alike because he can't even recognize a habitual return customer. Ive had this same disagreement with this person before about the age of my tanks even to go so far as showing him the tanks they have for sale have the exact same dates as he's currently selling. This subliminal racism he displays to black customers is outrageous. I use to shop here weekly filling my propane tanks for food business. I will be shopping at Uhaul from now on for propane
