The place is nothing special but for $25 per night for a back-in full hookup you can't complain and I understand that the bass fishing on the lake is phenomenal. The place is pretty large and there was hardly an RV there...possibly indicative of the miserably hot and humid weather we experienced in mid-July. Be sure you check in before 4pm...it's a rule there. We called around 3pm to let them know we'd be late (5pm) but we didn't get there until 5:30pm and they were kind enough to let us stay anyway.

It was so nice because we did not have to take anything out, which made departure day a lot smoother. At your request they will bring you margaritas after 5:00 PM. The resort sits in a lake which makes it convenient for those who have boats. We were going to stay two nights, but ended up staying three nights. They do have two restaurants and bar you can enjoy if you don't feel like cooking. Hours vary, but the packet you receive has all the information you need. It is gated which makes it feel safe. I appreciate the restaurant being open on Mondays. Our server was so nice and helpful. She shared what her favorite dishes were and brought out fresh bread after it was finished. And that bread was next level. We got like a half loaf of Parmesan garlic sourdough! Fresh baked! I absolutely loved my shrimp & grits too. So flavorful. Great portions. It's a bit pricier, especially for Grove, but quality makes it worth it. I will definitely be back to try more entrees. Delicious. And the RV park is beautiful too.

The boat docks are so overgrown with weeds and is falling apart it's a safety hazard. We docked at the last slip and one of the fingers isn't even attached anymore! If that wasn't bad enough most of the other slips are missing cleats! Driving through the park with anything bigger than a small car will also scrape up your boat/rv/truck as the trees are also VERY overgrown. I also tried to get ice at 2pm on a Saturday but the main office was locked and there was no one at the checkin booth. I tried calling but no one answered.

Go to Walmart, get a few prepackaged frozen breakfast sandwiches for your table. Microwaved them the night before and forget they're in the microwave. Remember it the next morning, zap them a little bit longer but walk away and forget them until they are barely above room temperature. Serve them up and that's The same breakfast you'll get here. I certainly do not recommend this place and will not be spending any more money here.
