Without a doubt, this was one of the most challenging experiences for me in academia, and I have an advanced degree in Biology. So, whatever you do, do not take this program lightly. The material covered is very comprehensive, with certain aspects mirroring year one of medical school. Given the duration of the program, there will unquestionably be times when you're overcome by the sheer volume of material covered in such a short time frame. Whatever you do, **don't get discouraged.** Stay the course. Rest assured, the staff at RCI are there to support you as best as they can. Because your success is a direct reflection of them-- their ability to ensure you are well prepared for the board exam and will make a positive contribution to the medical community at large. You see, everyone has a common goal here. The goal is for you to succeed. Outstanding experience overall. But again, this is far from easy. While the role is that of technician, this is not an "on the surface" academic program. The demand is great, and the bar is high. Although, you've been given somewhat of a head start seeing as the support system at RCI is stellar. The instructors and laboratory training are top tier. What's more, there is an underlying kindness that reverberates throughout the RCI campus fostering a strong sense of hope. But... RCI can only go so far. Be prepared to put in the work. The end result will be everything you hoped it would be (and more) in the healthcare sector. So, what are you waiting for? Enroll now! As RCI says, this is your "Gateway to a New Beginning." You've got this.

The program is fast-paced and requires a lot of self-discipline, but the instructors were knowledgeable and willing to answer questions when needed. Overall, the program provided structure and support during an important step toward licensure!

With full transparency, this program was not designed to be easy…read more You will definitely give all of your time, your energy, your effort, and sometimes, your sanity. What you will receive, however, are those same sacrifices from each staff member at Marsha Fuerst. Throughout my time here, I have been challenged more than I ever thought I would be, but I have also been met with more support and encouragement than my heart could handle. Being a part of this program has transformed me into a more confident, compassionate, and curious individual while also providing me with the tools I need to be successful as an RN. I've read through some of the reviews and all that I can say is, this program is as committed to our success as we are, so if we are not succeeding, maybe it is a call to look inward and grow. If you humble yourself and learn to read between the lines, you will see that each person here WILL challenge you, WILL press you, WILL correct you, but it is because through their wisdom, they see something in us that we fail to recognize at times. And they are not merciless, they will not ruin your life, but they will apply just enough pressure to sprout the seeds planted inside of every one of their students. The path to becoming a nurse is not easy for anyone, however, thanks to the unwavering standard held by MFSON West Covina, the journey for me was one of the most rewarding, transformational experiences of my life. A few nuggets of wisdom given to me: it's okay to go underwater as long as you learn how to come up for air, don't be a task monkey, and success water is the best water. Thank you all for keeping the bar high, for speaking life and encouragement into me, for freely sharing your wisdom (regarding nursing as well as life), and for being the hands that walked me along the path when I felt lost. Thank you for helping me see my worth as a student and a person. As I close one chapter to begin another, I will proudly remember where I came from and confidently uphold the values of compassion, understanding, safety, accountability, integrity, and respect, just as they were to me here.

Due to personal reasons, it took me some time after graduation to finally sit for the NCLEX. Even though I was technically done with the program, the faculty never abandoned me. They continued to reach out, check in, and offer guidance and resources to help me prepare. Their support went far beyond what was required. They genuinely care about their students success, not just during the program but even afterward. This program doesn't just educate you it stands by you. I am incredibly grateful for the encouragement, dedication, and belief they had in me until the very end.

The staff is incredibly savvy--knowledgeable, efficient, and genuinely invested in student success. They make navigating admissions, financial aid, and class scheduling feel seamless. You can tell they've put serious thought into every step of the process. The BSN program itself is well-structured, comprehensive, and built to support students from day one. The curriculum, resources, and clinical partnerships are all designed with the end goal in mind: producing excellent, confident nurses. I feel like I'm part of something special here. They'll look for any chance to change the curriculum and policies throughout each term to make it harder for the next cohorts. "We have larger cohorts because the weak ones will fall off" . They also don't follow their own published policy's. For nursing school the lack of empathy and understanding they have for their students is foul. As an RN I always encourage other future RNs and LVNs to avoid this school completely.
