This is not just this campus but the other campuses are failing as well and no academic changes are being made to keep this from occurring more. The same thing happened with the previous cohort and they allowed it again by not allowing the teacher the access to key topics they need to teach us correctly. This school is a joke and take that from a student ambassador if I didn't work here and been so close to the finish line I'd find another nursing school. If you don't have to come here spend the extra money and go somewhere else. We just want to be nurse and take care of our communitie, we're not asking to make it easy but we are asking for adequate teaching. The teacher make this their 2nd and could care less about really teaching us. But it's not all on them Rasmussen doesn't give them the resources they need to get their job done too. She's an experienced nurse and doesn't hesitate to share the good and bad side to mold us in this career. I have gained so much knowledge within this short period of time. I'll definitely recommend the school and all. Thank you Ms Candice

Their holistic approach equips you with the know how as well enabling you with the professional compasion to provide exemplary patient care. Their program gave me the credentials needed to land a great job at a physical rehabilitation hospital even though I lacked clinical experience. The program also gave me a complete foundation to build toward an RN-BSN. I would highly recommend the program at Career Training Center of Chicago. It's afforadble - with flexible payment options. It's a concise, concentrated program that will get you quickly into the medical field. It's in depth, high quality, and comprehensive which will put you a cut above other CNAs. And it provides a great foundation to build from if you wish to pursue nursing or other allied health fields. They easily earn 5 stars.

On the center's website, it states that the program "promises to deliver the utmost service to the students with ethical values, respect, and dignity." However, my experience in this class did not reflect those values. Mrs. Ace, I hope you take this feedback seriously and reflect on the concerns being brought forward instead of immediately arguing against them. One major issue is the way students' concerns are handled. Mrs. Ace has stated that anyone who writes a negative review will fail in the medical field and in her class. However, I passed her course and passed my CNA certification exam on my first attempt. Providing honest feedback does not determine a student's ability to succeed in healthcare. There were multiple situations where students were made to feel embarrassed, dismissed, or discouraged. For example, one student asked about a correction on a quiz question and attempted to explain her reasoning. Instead of discussing the concern professionally, Mrs. Ace refused to listen, repeatedly threatened to remove the student from the class, and the situation ended with the student crying. After discussing the same question with my father, who is a neurosurgeon, he agreed with the student's reasoning. This showed that the concern was valid and should have been addressed respectfully. Mrs. Ace frequently belittles students rather than creating an environment where they feel comfortable learning and asking questions. There is a difference between maintaining high standards and making students feel intimidated or disrespected. The biggest issue with this class is not the curriculum or clinical experience; it is the instructor's attitude, communication style, and treatment of students. A CNA program should prepare students for healthcare by encouraging professionalism, confidence, and respect.

He has documented proof that a paper has been submitted, through their own system but the professor doesn't receive it. They send campus emails to personal email addresses even though they inform students all emails will be sent through their campus email which in his case also happened to be his preferred email. I received $19.5k for…read morea transfer scholarship and then took out $700 deferred loan to look desperate which upped my IMAP grant to $9k. I then recouped the $700 each year by qualifying for a low income tax credit which negated my deferred loan. I just paid the $2,100 from my federal tax returns when I graduated. I received another $1,000 from Phi Theta Kappa and began working in my field by my junior year. I think I paid $6k for my degree. As a graduate student at St. Francis I started in the certificate program to take advantage of the lower tuition and received a discount because my company partners with the University. You have 7 years to complete the program. Most employers offer around $5k per calendar year which is about a class per semester and IS considered FULL time. If you drag it out long enough your employer pays for your degree. Essentially making grad school free. As for the program, at St. Francis I'm a person. We're taught by our professors rather than teaching assistants and they know you by name. Their doors are always open. They all have PhDs and have 20+ years of experience in their perspective fields or are still working in addition to teaching full-time. You'll complete typical homework assignments, papers, quizzes, tests, and discussion boards in which both the students and professors participate. In addition to getting a degree you actually learn something here that can be applied to your career and they take academic dishonesty seriously. I'm really glad I stumbled upon St. Francis. It's been nothing short of amazing.

I set my expectations…read morerelatively low, knowing it's a school and these are students training for their professional careers. I ended up REALLY impressed. The service provided by the estheticians was phenomenal; Mariah who actually performed my facial and one of her fellow students helped me upgrade to treat my acne (only $5!), and it was honestly one of the best facials I've ever had (surpassed my last-best facial experience at Mario Tricoci in Oak Brook). I was super relaxed, loved my skin after I left my appointment, and it was a peaceful setting. I was also impressed with how many services they offer. I ended up getting a consultation on extension installation and extension coloring, and set up an appointment for that as well. My only complaint is that the front desk service was not friendly - one middle-aged woman either had RBF (resting b*tch face) or was just not a very kind person, and seemed annoyed both times I asked a question. But I won't let that deter me from the great students and services here! Highly recommend.

5 stars for Alai (student), 1 star for Paul Mitchell Tinley Park (PMTP)…read more Paul Mitchell Tinley Park responded to my review on a different site with an AI-generated reply. Hopefully, a human will actually read this review and look into making adjustments accordingly. PMTP is setting its Future Professionals up for failure, not success. I was introduced to the Clean Beauty Hydrate line and Neuro Prime at a different Paul Mitchell location. It has worked so well on my hair that I've purchased bottles to use at home when I can't make it to The School. Now that my local Paul Mitchell The School has closed, I had hoped PMTP would be my go-to location. Although the product is on the sales shelves, PMTP does not permit ANY students to use Clean Beauty shampoo and conditioner. An upcharge for the preferred products is not an option either, I asked. How would clients know to purchase Clean Beauty products if students can't use it on guests' hair? Neuro Prime, another product that works wonders on my hair is only available to a select group of Future Professionals. So, Alai, as patient as she was, had an unnecessary battle with my hair because she was forbidden from using beneficial products that are sitting visible on a shelf. Other students at Paul Mitchell Tinley Park can use Neuro Prime, but not the learning phase that she is in. Unless that policy changes, this visit will be considered a one and done. PMTP should be ashamed of those business practices.
