So instead of a ding, that would have been covered under the Liberty Mutual policy a big crack broke out half way across the entire windshield, double & triple grrrrrr! We tried to call the local Safelite but we're directed to the website. Good news because they have an excellent and easy to navigate web design that was simple to book an appointment and calculate the costs. That included our $25 veteran discount so nicely done. The bill came to $421 and Brad the technician is here replacing it as I begin writing this review. He showed up when promised after receiving a notice of who would be and a call from him. Brad is professional and seems to really know his stuff and his van is neat and organized with everything required to get the job done. He even perfectly saved and remounted our parking pass and car wash stickers He brought his own garbage can, left everything perfectly clean and gave the windshield a thorough cleaning. All together this was a painless process and well executed installation. Bottom line: There may be cheaper solutions out there but for an organized, simple and efficient glass replacement I would definitely use Safelite in the future.

I was told it would be a 1 month wait for them to just come look at the door. Regardless, I booked an appt. There was some confusion with my first call and a very knowledgeable woman called me back and I could tell she was just like me. Very detailed, tenacious with an old school mentality. She went over everything with me (super appreciated that) and disclosed when service was done on my door 8 years ago, the repairman didn't write the part number down for the rollers. We both agreed that was inexcusable. Since the first visit was for diagnosis only, I'd need a 2nd visit for the repair so they could get parts and have a 2nd man on hand to change out parts. We needed all of this done quicker than 1 month, 2 months later so our real estate agent called Folkers Windows and Doors and they came by with only few days notice and took care of us. I called Pensacola Glass to cancel my appts. and a girl with a voice I didn't recognize asked me my last name and when my appts were and I had to say that I didn't have my note on hand. She said she'd try to find them and then hung up without a bye. Pensacola Glass is a huge company and you need to update your record keeping system.
