He was thorough and explained why we have such differences in temps room to room. I know our old system will soon need replacement and these are definitely the people I will call. Unfortunately, there is not an option for zero stars. We suspected our dishwasher was leaking and…read morecalled JB plumbing. The technician came out started the dishwasher and discovered the leak. He suggested we call others to see about the floor damage. Most importantly, unbeknown to us, he did not unhook the leaking dishwasher from plumbing, disconnect the power, or inform us that he had stopped the dishwasher mid-cycle. We did not think to ask about this, as we assumed the dishwasher would sit there until it and the floor were replaced. No options were given. He charged us and left. We decided to wait to replace the dishwasher until the floor was fixed, not realizing there was a ticking time bomb in the kitchen. After drying the floor out for three weeks, someone happened to fully close the dishwasher door and it started up again and leaked all over the kitchen floor! I am shocked. Who leaves a client in this position? At least give them the option to disconnect the plumbing and electrical or even pay extra and have the unit taken away. Needless to say I have called JB Plumbing back tonight (Thursday) at 9pm when this happened. A very nice service clerk answered the phone but the first appointment they have is next week. I have asked to speak to the owner. At this point I cannot recommend JB Plumbing, unless you are savvy enough to make sure the plumber did his job!

I called and they verifies that it had been 8 month since my HVAC service 14 month since my generator. My winter HVAC service was skipped and my annual 2025 generator service was skipped......however I had paid for them. The customer service person did not seem to care in the least and actually told me I should have called them to schedule the service. I asked to speak with her manager (Mason) and he never called me back. Worst customer service I've experienced in a very long time!

TIP: Check costs before you invite anyone out to work on your system(s). I found Primus's $85 trip charge to be somewhat reasonable. But the cost of Freon? Not so much. A quick check on eBay indicates these folks pay not more than $25 per pound of R22 for their Freon and then charge you the stated price of $100. When asked why, the smug response was .. "Well, that's capitalism." My response .. "Well, when you charge 4 times what something costs, that leaves the consumer feeling ripped off. So here's something else about capitalism you should know. People won't use you when they feel ripped off." My thoughts: There's just something not right about being told I should be happy about being ripped off simply because "That's capitalism". That would be why I concluded the call. I suppose the vendor subsequently decided our discussion wasn't over, so he immediately called back to lecture me, rather aggressively. I hung up. A few seconds later, he called again. I didn't answer. So in the end, the decision to not use Primus is more than justified by their absurdly expensive (in my opinion) Freon and their aggressive response to (pre)customer feedback.

I call Full Air AC Repair to get Freon put in my unit. Justin came out for $110 and told me…read moreexactly what I already knew.... That my unit needed Freon. He said the Freon would cost about $750 and that I had a leak and needed stop leak and it would need to be changed to take a different kind of Freon because R22 is not available anymore. (It's available on Amazon). Anyways he quoted $2,000 to put Freon or $9,000 for a new unit. (I'm like I could get a couple of window units for cheape.) I asked him to put a duct back on that the water heater guys knocked off and he told me that he didn't have any supplies on the truck. After he left, I thought that I would consider putting Freon in myself. I went out to look at the unit and I heard a hissing sound coming from a valve. I took a video and sent it to him and asked about it. He said he could've hear anything. (The Freon that was in my unit was being drained!) I called someone else and they came out and put a new valve stem, reattached my duct, filled the unit with nitrogen to see if it would hold, then recharged my unit with 6lbs of Freon for $460. I highly recommended that everyone look elsewhere for their hvac needs. I saw these great reviews and thought I was getting some honest help. Nope!
