They had exactly what we needed and we had been shopping around for weeks. And at a decent price. The staff were pleasant and helpful. And the bathrooms were nice. Sue Haley was the first sales associate to help me. I was having problems with my visualizer app and she took me right to their computer and helped me to visualize my tile selections in my bathroom. She was very knowledgeable and patient in showing me how to access and use the visualizer app. I selected a few tiles that I liked and Sue Haley set me up with their designer Marianne. I showed Marianne the large format tile I had selected for my shower walls and she pulled some floor tiles for me and showed me how you can set them up against the large format tile display making it easy to see if they go well together. She also let me know that all she needed was my builders information and I could take five samples home free. I had no idea. This was such a convenient service and it helped me a lot to take these samples home and see them in my bathroom. I selected the tiles, and a few days later I returned the samples that I didn't want. That day a sales associate named Serenity easily helped me pick out the grout color that would pull the wall and floor tiles perfectly together. I was able to select all the supplies I needed completely in my budget. They have very competitive pricing. Anywhere from inexpensive to custom-made expensive and everything in between. There is something here for everyone. I highly recommend Floor and Decor in Live Oak by Ikea in San Antonio Texas.

We first met Tony when he came out to do an estimate on a remodel job on a foreclosed home we…read morerecently bought. We had not heard from him that morning so gave him a call, and turned out he had not even left his office by our scheduled time. He was 2 hours late for our scheduled estimate. Once we had closed on the house, work started as scheduled. We ended up going with an overlay thinking it would be the safer bet. He later told us (after work had started) that he did not like doing overlays. Because Tony told us there was too much humidity in the house, they could not use masking tape to cover up our trim and wall while they applied the acid stain. Because we had to repaint the house, and because we did not want any more delays in our schedule, we told him to go ahead and spray. We did not realize he was going to spray acid stain right over every door as well. After everything was "done", we could not do a thorough check of the floors since he had just waxed it. He left saying "let these floors wear in and it will look good." We did not know what that meant, but what we were left with was awful. Only pictures can explain what our floors looked like. The vintage umber stain ranged from black to white (it is supposed to be a medium brown) the surface was extremely bumpy in areas, there were streaks that were not sealed and there was a milky, cloudy film in the entrance (the first impression of our home.) After we had 2 friends come over and ask "what happened to your floors?" we knew it was not just our imagination. We called up Tony and he came out to take a look. He agreed it was awful. He tried to do a quick fix, which did not work. Our family had to move into a hotel (on our own dime) so he can have a few days to fix these floors. After this, it was a little better, but we still had bumpy floors, white film in several areas (he said he thought it was effluorescence - which was not the case, they simply did not let things dry properly between coats.) We asked him to come back and he told us he was on another job and will get back to us later. We wrote Terry and sent pictures of what the floors looked like. We even asked her to come out and look for herself. 2 weeks passed and we simply could not put up with these delays nor did we trust that this could be fixed without redoing the whole thing. In the last emails and texts we sent CCS (which they blatantly ignored) we asked for half of our money back. We understood it cost them time and money, so we asked for half. We have not even gotten an acknowledgement back from Tony or Terry. We called a different concrete contractor, who took pity on us and came out to look at this stained concrete job. He even suggested we look into different flooring options, like laminate, because we would not be able to sell the house like this. He said these floors (even the sections we considered OK) did not even meet industry standards. We ended up hiring this contractor - he had to remove the overlay and start from scratch. There was no comparison - no white residue anywhere (turns out it wasn't efflorescence), smooth surface, beautiful medium brown color, and we have received many compliments. To say our experience with CCS was awful is an understatement. CCS does not stand by their work. Buyer beware.
