Do not rent from this company. They will keep every bit of your deposit , claiming bogus and rediculous charges for resurfacing floors and other things they will not be fixing. The condition of the house was not too great previously , back yard full of leaves , mold , broken 1960's appliances that had to be replaced, not clean. Based on the condition at move in and the fact the house was already up for rent so quickly , they aren't resurfacing anything . Do Not Do Business with this company!! My son found a home on his website that he loved for he and his 5 year old son, but when got the keys to look inside, found the place was an absolute disaster. Jeremy told him to give him a $795 "Reservation Fee" which would put his home at priority to be gutted, refurbished, "deep cleaned"..so meanwhile my son gives his current a 30 day notice to vacate, boxes up his home, rents a moving truck etc. 24 hours prior to move in date, he and I go to do final walk through of the home, and to our disgust NONE of what was promised to be done had been done, outside of new carpets down. Just to give you an idea, there were live roaches in kitchen cupboards, dead bugs as well, black mold under sink,exposed wires, no mounts on ceiling fans, broken door, exposed crawl space with trash, broken blinds throughout home, broken floor vents throughout, and down right FILTH. No even close to being up to code. To make a long story short, we made a list, took pics and confronted Jeremy with all of our findings, and he half looked at our list and says, how about i just give your deposit back. Yep. Zero intent to fix anything, here is your money back, and now my son has no home to move in to. Could not be more disgusted with this man and his company. They prey on the young, and ones in need. Do not do business with these people. They have ripped me off of more money then it was worth. Always trying to find a reason to charge you extra money. They don't fix anything and the owner of the company is a real true douche bag. The rent is due by the 10th of every month but he charge me a late fee refused my payment and tried to take me to court. I've paid my rent every month, an it's a STATE LAW he gives the renters 10 days to pay rent before filling eviction papers so by refusing the payment he was able to file the paperwork. Do not do business with this company. Jeremy Champion and his ilk are very dishonest when it comes time to return your security deposit. I rented a crab shack from this "realty" company, at first they were very nice, and even when things needed to be fixed they would send someone to fix whatever issues I had. However I gave my thirty day notice, vacated the premises on 7/29/17. They listed the house on the market for rent 8/1/17. This is to show the house was left in the same condition I moved in. When I contacted them in regards to my security deposit, low and behold they "claimed" the stove and refrigerator as missing. Seriously?? its funny my former neighbors across and both sides of me, said no one took such items, it is despicable for Champion realty to steal from former tenants. I wonder how many other people they stole from, I cannot be the only one they did this to. As wealthy as Jeremy Champion is its hilarious he feels the need to steal a 625.00 security deposit. My husband an i went there an the staff were friendly an kind. They said honesty is important there. We told then there waa eviction on background if that was going to hinder us just let us know so we dont waste app money. We were told Jeremey is very understanding. He emailed me request for income over weekend. The process of how i had to do it was difficult but i quickly responded back. He didnt let me know if he received them or not. I called to check but he waa unreachable. My family an i had early morning appointment. We got our children up early an ready. He was alnost a hour late while we waited with our small children. He made his mind up before he even took us back but chose to allow us to waste our time explaining we once was evicted because husband lost job an we owed over $700 but instead of moving we stayed ab paid evert cent back(thats where good morals get u now) an now my ex husband had abused our kids an we unexpectdly had 4 of them with nothing but the clothes on their back in addition to the fact the management of the mobile home had become harassment an we had witnesess. We told him we give him references or whatever he needed. We were told we werent worth the risk. 4 children my husband an i having to hug an hold an wipe tears an having to explain some people arent what they seem an that its not fair but honesty got us punished.
