Stephen is very professional and goes above and beyond to provide the information a person would want to know when buying a home. His communication was FAR superior to the inspection companies I've used in the past. I've been involved in 3 previous home inspections before this one and without a doubt am the most pleased with Champion. If I could give this company 6 out of 5 stars, I would. We were looking at a house while out of state and Stephen did everything he could to make sure we were confident in him and his outlook since we weren't capable of being there while he inspected the house. He went well beyond our expectations. He spent a lot of time literally writing down everything that was even a possibility of being a problem. With lots of videos and a full, 17 minute long YouTube video specifically on the house we were looking at. He also has called me twice to make sure I had all my questions answered and if I needed help with anything else. Stephen also gave us TONS of information on things to look for before so we can make a better decision on putting in an offer on a house. Stephen did an excellent job with our home inspection. He worked very hard to ensure that every part of the property was fully inspected, not just by sight but also physically inspected, whether that meant squeezing into a tight crawlspace or scanning every nook and cranny of the attic. His professionalism was further expressed by the extra safety precautions used during the inspection, such as securing his ladder to the roof and wearing a full-body suit to inspect under the home. Stephen also took the time to go over the report with us, explaining the issues found and offering suggestions for repair. The finished report was very thorough, but could have been organized a little bit better - it seemed to jump from one issue to another, rather than grouping each issue together by location or room. First time buyer, so wasn't sure what to expect. We fell in love with the home, yet we didn't know how safe it may be 5 -30 years from now. Stephen was did amazing job at checking places we wouldn't have even thought about checking. He answered all of our questions and had good suggestions to recommend. At the end of the inspection, he did a recap with you on video, so you could share it with your family members if you wished. I really loved that feature! I also loved that he talked to us through out the home as well, so that we felt apart of the inspection as well and gave us ideas for what to look for what is easy fix to save money or what needs a professional to fix for us. Stephen did such a great job! He was very informative and was very patient with all the questions we had. He was even patient with my "know it all" father who was there through some of the inspection. The seller changed the code to get in the house and took over and hour to get back to us with the new code and he was nice enough to wait so we could get this inspection done. He was very flexible in scheduling. I loved the report he sent out, it had pictures and explained what everything was he had on there. Unfortunately the house we had inspected fell through because me and the buyer couldn't come to an agreement with things on the list I wanted fixed. Stephen, Good day, Firstly, awesome job with the video walkthrough of the property, seriously never experienced that and it was very helpful to say the least, the reason for the email is because one item I was hoping you would catch was exposed wires in the overhead on the second level porch/landing, the exposed wires are visible from the online photos and although it's not a big deal , I just want to ensure the power has been properly terminated, so if and when I choose to install lighting there I don't experience any issues. Extremely pleased with the home inspection performed by Champion Home Inspection. We were considering purchasing a home directly from the owner pending the results of a home inspection, at our expense so I wanted to ensure we got a very thorough inspection. The inspection included videos and pictures of the roof, and crawl space in addition to other areas of the home, and uncovered some major structural and electrical issues that we would have never detected, in addition to termite damage. If I could give him 100+ stars I would. This is the second time we have used him for a home inspection(buying side) and he does an amazing job each and every time. He's very precise and detailed in his reports. He explains everything that needs to be fixed and more! He did our re-inspection and he caught a couple of things that we're said to be fixed, but were not. He's saved us from a problem when he caught those things and even called one of the companies that had told us they fixed the issue so they could come out again.
