Our son has been attending for Pre-K and TK, and from the very beginning the teachers and staff made our family feel welcomed and supported. The transition into preschool can be emotional for little ones, but the teachers were so patient and caring that it helped him settle in much quicker than we expected. What has stood out the most to us is how much he has grown since starting here. His confidence, independence, and social skills have really blossomed. He often comes home excited to tell us about the friends he played with, the activities they did, and the things he learned that day. You can truly tell the teachers care about the kids and create a warm, structured environment where children feel safe and encouraged. As a parent, there's real peace of mind knowing your child is somewhere they are valued and supported. If you're a parent looking for a preschool where your child will be nurtured, cared for, and given a great start, we would absolutely recommend this school to other families.

From day one, I felt like I was leaving my children with family--not just teachers. The love, patience, and intentional care they provide is unmatched. The preschool has a strong, well-organized program with fun, age-appropriate activities that help the kids grow emotionally, socially, and academically. They also go above and beyond to create special days and events for parents, which helps us feel truly included in the school experience. One of the things that gave me the most confidence as a parent was how excited my daughters were to go each day--they would often ask when they could go back to school! That joy and eagerness made it clear they were not only learning but also truly thriving. Honestly, if they offered elementary school, I wouldn't think twice--I'd love to keep them in an environment like this for years to come. The peace of mind and confidence I've had every day dropping them off is something I'll always be grateful for. Highly recommend!

I want to start off by saying that we are not direct customers of TutorTime, but we have used their…read moreservices in Upland before through our backup care network provided by my employer (through Bright Horizons Backup Care). The one time that we brought our daughter to the center, the staff seemed annoyed with my wife that they brought her in for the day, but accepted her. From my observation, the facility was quite cute - had an indoor "play town" for the older kids to enjoy and the staff that were hanging with my daughter were nice and she seemed to enjoy her time. I really wanted to like this place as it has great value just a few minutes away from our house. We gave TutorTime the benefit of the doubt and said amongst the both of us while they aren't our first choice, that we'd try them again if the situation necessitated - being so close to our house. This past week, I requested time for my daughter on Wednesday for the upcoming Friday. Got a call from TutorTime saying they were full and unable to accept her that week and an email from Bright Horizons saying she was "waitlisted" - totally understand - that's the point of backup care and I understand they can't always accomodate us. I call Bright Horizons and they confirm that the request is closed out. Come the day after, I noticed a copay charge on my card as if the Bright Horizons request had gone through. After calling today, I found out from the lady that they unwaitlisted the request on Friday morning and didn't call or email me to tell me that they were able to accept my daughter for the day. This is EXTREMELY shady to me, as I'm sure TutorTime got my copay and the payment from the Bright Horizons benefit knowing full well that I wouldn't notice so late and bring her in same day. I'd stay away. We won't be back and will try other facilities in network - even if it means a drive to Pasadena.

Hello Parents and Caregivers,…read more We recently transferred to Tutor Time Upland a little over six months ago. This being our fourth school, we weren't expecting much--we were just happy to get in, as this was the school we initially wanted to start with. However, due to the waitlist and our desire for our two-year-old to begin preschool, we had to look elsewhere. After trying two schools that ultimately couldn't accommodate my son's allergies, we were fortunate to find one where we stayed for some time. While it never felt like the "dream school," he seemed happy, so we assumed that was the best we could hope for. However, when my youngest was ready to start there, we realized the school wasn't a good fit for him. He has a speech delay, and while some teachers were wonderful, not everyone was on the same page regarding his needs. Then the day came when I decided to check if Tutor Time Upland finally had availability--and they did! Given our past experiences, we weren't expecting much, but let me tell you, the difference was like night and day. No wonder there was a waitlist! Everyone at this school is amazing, and I mean everyone. They are both professional and personal in every situation. You can always feel comfortable talking to the staff about anything, from concerns to finances. The curriculum is truly visible in everything they do. And the food? It's so good! Both my boys were known for not eating at school, but they eat here! My youngest, who has a speech delay, receives incredible support, and all his teachers understand and actively work with us on his developmental goals. On the other hand, my oldest, who is ahead developmentally, was recently moved up from preschool to TK, and they've worked with him wonderfully as well. The staff is always on the same page, and they genuinely remember the little things--which, as parents, means the world to us. It's such a joy to have both of my boys at this school, and we are cherishing every moment, knowing this is the best experience they'll have before moving on to kindergarten!

The director Pauline and asst director Ellie are both fantastic. Both our kids attend full time and our older son attended full time all through COVID. They take cleanliness, sanitization, and CA regulations seriously and I have always felt my children were safe and well taken care of. I also love the creativity, arts and crafts and curriculum for each age. I feel like my kids are socially developed very well. The teachers and center as a whole have become a big part of our life, Several of the staff members have been around for 3+ years and watched over both our boys, and that goes to show what a great positive environment has been created here. Because of this daycare my kids have been potty trained, transitioned milks, helped nap schedules, taught counting and ABCs and so much more. They also provide all food, and even baby formula. They even do before and after school drop off! Although daycare is expensive, it was one of the more affordable ones we looked at. I honestly don't know what we would do without this place!!!

They do plenty of arts and crafts with the kids. They are always so happy to bring their class work home and show us what they have been working on. I love that they have a wide open outside play area as well as good class sizes for the kids. My boys are VERY active and need space to stretch their legs! The facility always looks clean and organized. I feel like Fairytale is definitely a good transitioning preschool to get the kids ready for entering Kindergarten in public school.

In the front of desk, they display various expensive toys and snacks for sale that tempts children to pester their parents to buy. it bothers me a lot. they also promote their own laundry bag. an orange and urgly bag. i dont like this bag,so every time they ask me to buy I always refuse. one day , they put my kids clothes into the bag without my permission. So I have to cost 20 dollars to buy this laundry bag and the zipper broken next day, so cheap material!!! In my opinion, as an educational institution, the main mission is educate children not about the money. About the educations Be honest , their teachers are patient and nice before. However, the quality of teaching has worst with a high turnover rate among teachers。 so far there are only three formal teachers ,the others just teachers assistants. sometimes I saw kids cry sadly , they just ignore and didn't comfort them. And they always let kids watch iPad
