Being a first responder, she never turned us down for care, when my other coworkers were being turned away due to our jobs... My son was able to start the kindergarten class there last August with Mrs. Mac Kensey and although he was 4 years old they said he was ready. He came home writing his name, learning sight words. My husband and I love the Rainbow Children's Center, which our 4 year old has nicknamed, 'Rainbow House'. We enrolled him when he was around 2 years old, and have found them to be the best school in Rancho. They have great, attentive staff, and wonderful curriculum. Our son often comes home happy, and full of information regarding his day. They provide healthy breakfast and lunches as well as snacks, and steady nap schedules. The events hosted there are always so sweet. I'm grateful for a place that loves the kids so much. It is definitely a safe environment for children, and they learn and play as well. At first we enrolled him for just a part-time schedule, but we trust the staff and community enough that we feel comfortable having our child there full-time, from around 8 to 5ish. It was really hard to get a hold of someone on the phone. I left messages for the past 2 weeks and nothing. I tried different times of the day and no answer.. The only Communication was through yelp which going back and forth is not the best. Afternoon/Evening tours are not available. For us working parents this isn't the best. Also had to pay full day just to drop off my girls 30min before. I would of still picked them up for the half day time. If its this hard to get a hold of someone on the phone & they can't accommodate Afternoon tours this isn't the place for my girls. read more

My daughter has been attending rainbow for over a year now.. she loves her teachers & all her friends .. the school serves organic breakfast & evening snack.. lunch use to be provided but that has changed recently (the only downfall due to the fact that I chose a school based on Hot Lunch being available) .. BUT... Very unprofessional I went on a Wednesday to enrolled my child to preschool and I completed the application and everything they told me to go back on Monday and gave me the password to the door and when I got there they told me that some other kid took my son spot just because I didn't wanted to pay the 205 for 2 days. My son has been going to rainbow for 3 years now and we are sad our day is coming to an end, due to age. Rainbow has taught my son so much the past 3 years from barely talking and holding a pencil to now being ready to conquer first grade with math, spelling, sight words and more. It's a place where you walk in and immediately feel at home, they are trustworthy and are adamant about forming solid relationships with the children. After seeing so many positive reviews, I was relieved to send the child , but I regretted it. The teachers here do not care about the children and take care of the children. It is normal for kids to just get into a new perschool. It is normal for them to cry and feel unhappy. The teacher is annoyed when the child cries and often calls to pick them up. She also said that if the parents do n't have time, It's very irresponsible to have friends to pick up. At 12 o'clock on the schedule, It is started to eat and 1pm to started for nap. Actually preparing to sleep about 12:10, and the children who had not eaten the foods were taken away. No wonder my child was very hungry every day when I went home. I tried to send after breakfast, and still very hungry after picking up after lunch. She will cry in the night dreaming and often ask hug her. My child started daycare and perschool in 19 months，Here is the worst. I hope that it can help other families. Do not read reviews when choosing perschool. My two boys attended their summer program this past summer and they had a great time. I definitely would recommend this place. It was clean, cute and the staff was friendly! They taught my kids some Spanish and Chinese, they had arts and crafts, and water days for those hot summer days. I rarely write reviews but in this case I have to say it is indeed a pleasure to write about a very special childcare center. My wife and I are grandparents raising our 2 granddaughters age 9 and 4. We enrolled the 4 yo here at Rainbow Children's Center about a year and a half ago and I must say it was the best decision we ever made. The staff is very welcoming ,caring and loving . But most important it is a learning center with a teaching curriculum and our granddaughter has learned so much with reading , spelling and math. She will definitely be ready for kindergarten. This is NOT a facility where you drop off your child and they just play and run around all day. They Learn!!!. Ms. Jimena and her staff are very caring and loving and always greet the children with smiles and hugs. Included in the tuition is breakfast, lunch and snacks with very healthy and nutritional choices. The facility is always very clean and is an inviting environment for children. The first day we brought our granddaughter there as with any child she was scared and nervous and didn't want to go, but what impressed us the most was how Ms. Jimena got down to her eye level and made her welcomed. Needless to say when we came to pick her up that evening, she didn't want to leave. The classrooms are clean & well maintained at all times of the day. They provide breakfast, lunch & snacks for the students. My daughter is learning all of the core concepts that are going to set her up for success when she enters Kindergarten. The school allows dance & sports groups to come in & teach the students for an extra charge. I was taking him to a home day care and he was not adapting as well as I hoped he would. My son attened this school for over a year before starting kindergarten. I switched my son from another preschool and I was very pleased. I liked that they were really easy-going. We never had any issues. I liked that it was calm and structured and clean. When you walk in, you'd never guess there's a classroom full of children. I've been to other facilities where it is a chaotic atmosphere, and crying children are left alone. The teachers at Rainbow Children are very attentive and in control of their classroom. My son was well prepared for kindergarten. I do wish they offered the ability to pay online or electronically. And they are closed on some non-banking holidays ie: MLK day, Presidents, and sometimes close early before a major holiday. read more

My girls LOVE going to school everyday for three years here. The education here is Incredible. They learn reading, math, Spanish, art, singing and hands-on science daily.
