This place was absolutely incredible!! Highly recommend coming here for all trips to the valley! The service was top notch, the food was perfect and I wish I could have ate more!

The food was amazing!! Great service, we had steaks, roasted veggies and mashed potatoes, they were all great and tasty! The Serrano margarita was out of this world, spicy and refreshing just as authentic Mexican margaritas should be!

Great argentinian steak house in the valley. We were so surprised to find this quality of meats in Guadalupe. Kuddos to Franco the manager for his amazing customer service and people skills. Prices were expected for the quality of food. We will be back for sure.

Some of the best food in Valle! Great service, music, awesome setting. Went twice in my short stay...

All I can say is WOW!!!! From beginning to end our meal was amazing!!! We started with a tasting of empanadas which were delicious! Then came fresh salads made with local ingredients and their bread is so soft and amazingly good! Next came the main meal which was the Tomahawk steak (huge!!!!!) and beef ribs which were melt in your mouth tender! Finally we finished the dinner with a decadent flan that is out of this world and a delicious apple tart with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! It was a dream from beginning to end! Definitely an experience worth repeating many many times! Service was amazing and very attentive! Highly recommended!

Food was so delicious ! Left nothing behind.

Amazing service ! Delicious food ! Chill ambiance and very good wine. Empanadas are also so delicious , aside from the amazing costilla de red. Will be coming back !

So glad to have stumbled upon this unassuming steakhouse. They use wood to fire up the grill which you can taste in the meat. Pretty impressed with the quality of meat too, I love a perfect marble. Friendly service, only annoyance was the flies, maybe an outdoor fan to help ward them off? Would come back again for sure.

OMG!! What a delicious meal! The meat was spectacular! The salad , the empanada the pizza ! Thanks to Leon your service, the conversation made our night! Thank you! We will return! If you are in the Valle de Guadalupe this place is a must! Cheers

It was my 60th birthday and we wanted a good meal and experience within close proximity to our hotel. We couldn't of asked for a better evening. The food was off the charts and the service given by Marlén and Gonzalo was excellent !!! We couldn't of never stumbled upon a bigger gem. Primera vez en valle de Guadalupe y la mejor cena Argentina en Mexico!

We are SO excited that Chamuyo is now in the Valle de Guadalupe! It is our favorite steakhouse inCabo San Lucas, and now in Baja! The meat is tender and flavorful, the wines are wonderful, and the owner is so warm and welcoming! It was a cold night, and he did t have heaters inside, but he grabbed some throw blankets from his home for us! Just outstanding!

WOW! This place is amazing! My boyfriend and I came here on a quiet Sunday night and had the best night. The service was great and the food... outstanding! The owner took great care of us and he had the sweetest dogs on property. We will be back next time we come out this way!

By far one of the most amazing places. We came for dinner for my birthday and shared the Parrilla for 2. Prime Rib, flank and Argentinan sausage, green salad, a bottle of wine and mashed potatoes. All the meat was cooked to perfection. I'm not a big potato fan but they melted in my mouth and we ate them ALL. We started out with the provaletta with bread and chimichurri, which was delicious. We will definitely be back and if you are in town you don't want to miss this place!

I did not. The grounds are stunning. You're on an active working orchard with views in every direction, and dropped right in the middle of it is the most enormous oak tree I have ever seen. That tree, you guys. It's MASSIVE. Ancient. The whole property is built around it, and drinking wine in its shade was straight up surreal. There were dogs wandering around. Families on picnic blankets. A live band playing under the tree. People dancing on their own. It's magical. The wine was freaking delicious. The charcuterie was good. The service was good. Nothing stood out either way on the service, but with everything else going on, I genuinely didn't pay attention. This isn't a quiet, learn-about-your-tannins kind of tasting. It's a hangout, and it's the kind of afternoon you'll be talking about long after you go home. A must on any Valle trip. Pro tip: come hungry, come ready to hang out, and come ready to feel like you're in a fairy tale, because that tree. Just sayin'!

Unfortunately we went through the San Ysidro border crossing back to Southern CA and found out that the max limit is 1 liter of alcohol (about 1 to 2 standard bottles) ever 31 days. The wines were fantastic, but what really made the experience stand out was the service. Everyone we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and genuinely excited to share their wines and story with us. Our sommelier was especially wonderful and made the tasting feel personal and relaxed rather than rushed or scripted. One of our favorite parts of the visit was the chocolate and wine pairing that my husband and I did together. Every pairing was thoughtfully put together, and it was so much fun discovering how the flavors changed and complemented each other with every sip and bite. The best surprise of the day? Finding out our sommelier was from the 805! As fellow Central Coast locals, it made the experience feel even more special and gave us an instant connection that we definitely weren't expecting to find in the middle of wine country in Baja.

Service here took a long time to just get menus and initial drinks. We also ordered food that was no longer available. When we did order, the food took near an hour to come to our table. They do have a "Michelin rated" restaurant inside the building, curious to see what the service there is. Overall, i would say there are so many other wineries around Valle de Guadalupe that offer better services/food and drinks.

I didn't realize you needed a reservation to come here but Nathan who owns this beautiful property with his vintner wife opened up their table for the best tasting we ever had! Each pour was delicious and we also got their charcuterie board which is not on the Malva menu but you can request. Nathan was very descriptive of their wine and praised his wife on creating so many of their wines. He made it clear that this is a woman owned vineyard and he just helps out. This made us chuckle because we all are married and would love for our husbands to praise us like he did! The vineyard is very resourceful and does clean practices for winemaking making it shine in their wines. I ended up going home with their Julio wine. One in particular loved to ask for head scratches by resting his head on your leg waiting for you to pet him. We got there right when they opened so service was a bit slow but that's understandable because they were still preparing for the rest of the day. Presentation was on point and made for a very fun meal. The horse mackerel rosette while not in an actual rosette was very good. Nice touch of citrus. Sea urchin flan was very umami and very filling. Gyozas were more like dumplings because they did not have any crispness to the bottom and the gyoza wrappers tasted like they were dried out in a fridge. Filling was an ox tail filling and worked wonderfully. The ramen broth however was just a bit too salty. I think if they made it into an aspic and put a bit of it with the filling it would have made for a better flavor explosion. Catch of the day was ok. The skin of the fish was kinda soggy but overall flavor was good. I think the crispness of the fish skin added with the shaving of jicama would have made it more of a standout dish. For the Pig dish, they used a suckling pig. My only complaint with the dish is they should have dried the skin out some more and made it crispier. Who isn't a fan of crispy pork skins from a suckling pig. The presentation of the desserts was the most amazing. The pumpkin is pretty much a lavender milk cereal inside and some sort of jelly and granola topped with a salted caramel ice cream. The carrot cake. This is the most delicious carrot cake I have ever eaten and the presentation itself was very fun. The carrot itself is a carrot puree that was candied and filled with a cream to look like an actual carrot.

We returned to Baron Balche for their wine tasting this past week and decided to stop here again for their food however our experience at Tahal this time was not nearly as memorable as 5 years ago. We were here on a slow Monday afternoon. There was only 1 other party there having a late lunch. We were seated and attended to relatively promptly initially however the service worsened after that. We ordered Aguachile de camarón to share first which she got to us quickly. We then ordered a couple glasses of wine, water, a Marguerita Pizza, and a Flan de elote all together. The waitress told us that we needed to remind her about the Flan because she would forget. We never got our glasses of wine. We had a normal wait time for the pizza and then had to remind her after 20 minutes for her to grab water for us. She remembered to bring the Flan de elote after it looked like we were done eating our aguachile and pizza. The aguachile was great. I'd come back just for this and I normally do not like eating shrimp at all. The pizza was OK. Not the greatest but not bad. The flan de elote was great as well and actually did taste like corn. At the end of the visit she asked if we ever got our wine and we told her no but it was too late as we were done eating. When we were about to pay the check they also forgot to remove the glasses of wine from our bill and we had to remind them to take it off. Overall the food was good but service was not.
