I have used Stanford health care for many years. Their doctors are usually exceptionally good…read more Dr. Mishra is the exception. At my first appointment, he lectured me on his relationship with his nurse of 20 years. First words out of his mouth. I had said nothing about his nurse who had just showed me to his office and had spoken to me when I made the appointment. He glanced at my knees, which is why I was there, and said nothing. I had x rays taken on my own which showed arthritis near the knee cap. I explained to him a previously seen doctor had removed arthritis 5 years ago and all pain disappeared. He told me to ride an exercise bike and he left the room. I tried riding the exercise bike but the pain continued. He was very angry when I returned for a follow up visit. The second visit was about 5 minutes. He made it very clear he was not interested in helping me with anything. I have reported him to Stanford Health Care.

Dr Mishra is world-renowned for his experience in the treatment of tendinopathies (i.e. tendinitis…read moreand tendinosis), so I felt fortunate to reside in the Bay Area near his services and care. I have consulted Dr Mishra a few times over the past three years and I have always appreciated his attention and detailed explanations of my ailments. It may not seem like he performs all the fundamental clinical tests, but he asks excellent leading questions that uncover the same information. Appointments can be tough to come by, but be persistent and call a few times, as cancellations/rescheduling are common. As of March, Dr Mishra holds clinic two days a week. Navigating to the Menlo Clinic takes some time (and a GPS), but the effort is undoubtedly worth it! Many thanks also to his helpful and responsive medical assistant, James.

Once again, I am in awe of this man and his team. I am not even 14 days post-op and I have to remind myself to use my cane! I have total confidence in Dr. Dearborn. Having managed a surgery office in Monterey for 30 years the things that I view as important may be somewhat different from others. I read a negative review from a dissatisfied patient who never had surgery with Dr. Dearborn. The complaints were mainly about the office looking like a Swiss clinic and difficulty making appointments. A clean, well-appointed office is very soothing to me. It shows attention to detail and the comfort of the patient. The office staff was professional and every person knew exactly what they were doing and worked expeditiously. This is a very busy office with a large patient flow. Dr. Dearborn spent just enough time with me to answer any questions and explain the procedure. This office has all of their ducks in a row. Most importantly - I have two perfect hips. No more pain and great range of motion! Thank you Dr. Dearborn!

Dr. Costouros is a genius, a master. i can't thank him enough. we are lucky to have the best shoulder surgeon in the bay area. If you have shoulder issues Dr. Costouros is the answer.

My surgery was complicated, included 3 areas of my foot, ankle and shin. It has not been a painful at all and is healing very well. Unfortunately, I couldn't walk on it for 6 weeks, which was very inconvenient but necessary. I used a knee scooter and found it much easier than crutches. I believe Dr Dang and her team are the only all female team in California. The team are caring, supportive and outstanding follow through, I really can't say enough good things about them all. I highly recommend Dr Dang!

Dr. Dang reviewed an MRI and determined that the surgery could be done without detaching the tendon. Dr. Dang is conservative in her approach; thoughtful and deliberate in the actions she will take. Exactly what I want from any doctor. The pre-op meeting was informative and helpful to knowing what I needed to do. The surgical experience was very smooth. The Pre-op nurses got me ready, and the team was extremely caring. The surgery went very well. The tendon was not touched, and after 14 days for the wound to heal, the stitches came out. Dr. Dang called me personally the day after surgery to see how I was doing and make sure everything was ok. If I were asked to think hard about how the entire experience could have been improved, I sincerely couldn't come up with a single thought. This was textbook perfect from start to finish. Thank you so much, Dr. Dang!

We saw several shoulder doctors - all cannot tell if they can do it without the possibility of perhaps needing a reverse shoulder joint replacment until they open his shoulder up. And the surgery can take from 5-7 hours. We saw Dr. Cheung and her command of the shoulder is so apparent. Sensing our apprehension, she said that shoulders is all she does and she "eat and sleep and dream shoulders". She lived up to her reputation and confidence. The surgery took less than 3 hrs, and the pain and recovery was speedy as within 3 weeks, my husband was ready to play pickle ball (his passion) - lol. I swear by Dr. Cheung's skills and her staff as well. after a few xrays and MRI, she was confidence that there is no need for the possibility of a reverse shoulder replacement (its when the socket is reversed on the top of the upper arm bone. I would highly recommend Dr. Emilie Cheung for any shoulder and elbow surgical procedures. She is absolutely the best!!
