Dr. Belitsky is excellent, but the office staff and management are a significant concern. My first appointment was great, followed by an ultrasound and even scheduling my annual follow-up at their request. However, when my prescription expired, both the pharmacy and I called repeatedly over a two-week period with no resolution. The people answering calls are not in the office, and although they say they will pass messages along, nothing happens and I am told they do not show previous contacts. I eventually reached someone who informed me that my prescription would not be renewed because I need to be seen every six months. I have no issue with that requirement, but I was originally told annual visits were sufficient and already have an annual appointment scheduled. Compounding the issue, they cannot get me in for more than 60 days. I hope the office improves its procedures, as this level of disconnect makes continuity of care very difficult. read more

Have been a nurse for 15 years and a patient for 10 years...called to follow up for my annual ultrasound and was told since I was five days past one year of being seen I would need to re establish as a new patient and couldn't be seen for three months...needless to say I found a new endocrinologist. The office staff never answer the phones and while I have zero issue with Dr. B, after being a patient for 10 years them not giving me any grace and telling me to establish as a new patient was the final straw for me. No reason to stay with a practice this difficult...there are plenty of qualified endocrinologists out there. read more

Disappointed in the follow up appointment process. Had to call to find out when my appointment was was given an early appointment, which I probably should of not accepted, but chose to go through with it. Left in plenty of time to arrive at appointment on time but an accident on the freeway delayed us 30 minutes. after driving for one hour and 20 minutes, we were told the doctor could not see us. Receptionist was quite unprofessional acting as if I had planned for the accident on the freeway. Told receptionist to forget about it. I'm fine don't worry at all about me. She checked with doctor and was told I could see a nurse practitioner five hours from this time Will not recommend Chandler endocrinology practice to anyone that I know. I've been seeing Dr. B for nearly a decade. I've struggled with with loss my entire adult life because of hormonal imbalances and insulin resistance. My A1C is consistently 5.9-6.0 and fasting glucose is always 100 or slightly above. About 2yrs ago we discussed GLP1s and because I'm not "pre-diabetic" she couldn't prescribe Ozempic, instead Wegovy (although she has me on Metformin, which hasn't done a darn thing). For context, I was 215 5'5". Not morbidly obese, but plus sized. I also have the insulin neck bump, skin rashes, toe/finger tingling and all sorts of other things. According to what I've seen, all of this classifies me as pre-diabetic. Either way, my insurance wouldn't cover W, only O. When I asked her if she could switch it, she refused. So, I went out of the country, got a script and began O on my own. She was impressed with my weight loss results and commended me on losing so much weight (40lbs) and my A1C went down to 5.6-5.7. However, it was temporary as I didn't have enough O to continue past a year and another trip isn't in the cards. I've now gained back 12lbs and A1C is 6.0. When I brought this up my last visit she suggested intermittent fasting. Ok, so for nearly 10yrs with all of the caloric deficits, works outs w/ personal trainers, etc. with little to no results, we know that O works. For someone who specializes in hormonal imbalances, she's incredibly apathetic. I'm frustrated. Also, the reviews mentioning the phones are all correct. They NEVER answer, nor call back. My scripts have been delayed SO many times because they were never sent. CVS tells me they send multiple notices with no response. It's always on the refills. Luckily, I live practically across the street from the office but it is annoying to have to come in to change appointments or track down refills when, if they just answered the phones, this wouldn't be an issue! It's time for me to fire this doctor/office and start looking elsewhere. Im not even sure why I stayed this long. I guess because of location convenience. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Lyuba Belitsky for a while now, and while she is an excellent doctor--thorough, thoughtful, and dedicated--the experience with the office staff is absolutely terrible. Dr. Belitsky always takes the time to review all the details and suggest the best treatment plan, but unfortunately, the support staff ruins the overall experience. First, it is nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone. If you call their number, don't expect a response. The person handling prescriptions frequently forgets to send them to the pharmacy, or they send the wrong dose or medication. It's frustrating and creates unnecessary delays in treatment. The office manager, Cristina, in particular, is very rude and has no understanding of customer service. We had an issue where they failed to update our insurance information for over a year, continually billing the old insurance. Today, I came in for a biopsy and was told I had a balance about to be sent to collections. When I asked why this wasn't brought up during any of my previous visits, she claimed to have sent mails I never received. Her attitude was completely dismissive, and she even said that billing the insurance is just a "courtesy," implying she could stop doing it altogether. It felt like a veiled threat. Given the lack of care, I walked out to avoid incurring any more unnecessary costs. I'll also be filing a complaint with the Arizona Medical Board. While Dr. Belitsky is wonderful, her staff's incompetence and lack of care for patients is unacceptable. Please check the other reviews on Google--sadly, this seems to be a recurring issue. If you value decent customer service, I recommend looking elsewhere. read more

If you want your time wasted and not valued this is the place for you. First visit 20 minutes late, second visit 40 minutes late. This morning I left after 30 minutes of just sitting there. the receptionist told me "thank you, have a nice day" You will call and get voice mail, they will call you back in 48 hours, you will miss that call and wait another 48 hours to get another call back. If you ever need a place to feel shamed for being overweight and unwelcome this is your place! i have never had a doctor who cared soo little about getting the whole picture of my health. my appointments would be 5 seconds long, her telling me I'm overweight and need to exercise and I leave. I left every appointment feeling defeated and judged. I have always wanted to find a new office but was at least being treated. although leaving is the best decision I've ever made. I have seen Dr. B three to four times a year for the last two years, and just found out yesterday that my insurance wasn't paying her when I received a bill FROM A COLLECTION AGENCY. When I confronted her office staff about the fact that I ask them about any balance owed every time I see the doctor, they told me that they cannot see my balance, especially after it goes to the collection agency. Then I was told that they have sent me a bill repeatedly. I have received nothing. The office staff was rude and confrontational, insisting that they do everything right...even as another patient came in and was informed that she had called to cancel her appointment the previous day, to which she responded "No I did not!" The staff has called in the wrong medicine for me, insists that they have a 'call center' handling their calls despite the fact that I am never able to get through when I call. Finally, they make check in for your appointment by writing your full name and the reason you are seeing the doctor...but they don't remove this information in a timely manner, so I was able to see three people's information, including that "Mr. John Brown" was there to see Dr. B for a mass in his neck, all while I was complaining about my exorbitant bill for two years worth of medical care. I fired Dr. B. She's nice enough, but her staff is atrocious. read more

Unfortunately, most of these reviews are accurate. I'd like to blame the fact the doctor is Russian but that's probably due to the fact of the crisis in Ukraine. There is no way to contact them via email. When calling no one picks up the phone but a recording states all calls will be returned within 48hrs, which is a complete lie. When I finally got an appointment; it was a 30 mile trek, I thought I finally had hope of receiving maintenance patient care. However, it became clear, quickly, the office staff is both lazy and unorganized. Why schedule a 4pm appointment and I'm literally the only person in the waiting room but I don't see the doctor until 4:30pm? Are you back there with Donald Trump? I was required to do blood work even though I already had recent blood work done and I was able to show my results and the need for medication but the doctor still required another lab test. I saw the results via the lab portal but the doctor still required me to drive 30 miles to discuss the results. Then we discussed the medication I had been previously taking for 7yrs but still messed up with submitting the wrong authorization to the pharmacy which ultimately the health insurer denied its coverage. I left a voice message seeking assistance after being denied and it's been 2 weeks and still zero response and what's worse the health insurer advised that a copy of the denial was sent to the doctors office! I have been a patient of Dr. Belitsky for 15 years. I have finally hit my breaking point and will no longer utilize her services. Her office staff is absolutely horrible. When you enter the office, you will notice a sign at the reception desk indicating that abusive language toward staff will not be tolerated. Why would that even need to be a thing? Well, it is because they patient/customer service is so abysmal that they needs to remind patinets not to yell at them. You will never get someone on the phone the first time you call. Believe me, I have 15 years of experience of leaving messages and waiting 48 hours for a return call. I have had to drive 35 miles round trip to get a RX refill because they refused to return my calls. Even when you need to reschedule an appointment and make that courtesy call to inform them that you will not be there, they won't even call you back to assist in rescheduling and to let you know that they received the message. After three weeks of playing phone tag I have finally decided to leave the practice. I have had several conversations over the years about the poor level of customer service from her entire office staff and she does not seem to care. My father was also a long-time patient of hers until he passed away from cancer about 13 years ago. Her back office assistant had the nerve to tell me that my mother was "high maintenance" while she was advocating for him and his diabeties management while also navigating chemo. Abysmal! The last straw was yesterday when they finally called me back and as I started to calmly and politely share why I will not be returning to the office, Nathan at the front desk said: "so you don't want to make an appointment'? When I replied "No", he hung up on me. Does 15 years with a doctor mean nothing? Yes...... Dr. Belitsky, I would love for you to give me a call. You have my number. read more

The office staff is probably the worst I have seen. In the morning when you wait outside for lab draws to start they just unlock the door and walk away. They do not even open and greet the patients. No one has said hello, only who's first. I think they forgot they are providing a service to clients who keep them in business. They have a sign at the front desk that's says abusive language to the staff will result in police being called. I wonder if they think the patients are the problem? read more

I've been to the office three times so far. My first was to discuss my issues and find a new endo and second visit was for blood work. The first visit I waited for 50 mins to see the Dr including the lobby and patient room. My third visit was for an ultrasound and I was in and out in no time. I do feel like Dr Belitsky is attempting to rule out any underlying issues besides the obvious so that is much appreciated compared to the previous endo. I see there is several complaints about the staff but they seem fine to me. Glad I found a good doctor to help me along my healthcare journey. read more

I have not seen this Dr. Since the first visit. That visit was in October of 2019 and I didn't bother to leave a review then because of how traumatized and upset I was over the interaction with this doctor and her staff. I have recently moved less than a mile away from this practice and when I saw the name I was thinking it seemed familiar. So I of course looked it up on Yelp and realized it was the same practice I believe that it was. I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one who was treated with disrespect from the front desk staff . I didn't read anything about the Dr. But I will say from my experience she was very in empathetic and very direct in letting me know after me not receiving care for so long as a type 1 diabetic she also wouldn't be able to help me in the rudest way. I hope if you're considering this practice you research others because the Endo I go to now is so much more of a painless visit and all the Drs treat me with respect and respond with pleasantries and are personable and they really do cate about me as an individual not as a patient they need to check off on their list for the day. I like the doctor. She is really hard to understand though. She talks super fast and I don't always get everything. However, her office staff SUCKS!! They NEVER answer their phones. When it prompts you to leave a message, it says they will call you back within 48 hours. NOT! If you have an emergency, don't rely on them. This is not professional at all. For the endocrinology office, it should be run more professionally and the office staff never pick up the phone or call back. This is insane for endocrinology, especially for patients who require medication on daily basis. Not getting your medication someone can go into a coma and die. The doctor knows her stuff and is extremely thorough. They do all of the testing and blood work right at the office so you don't have to run around to different offices to get blood drawn or an ultrasound done. The office is extremely nice and clean. I've read other reviews bashing this practice but I don't agree. Every time I have an appointment I know that I'm getting the best care possible. That's what matters to me! read more

Dr belitsky is one of the best drs I have had and I've had a lot lol I seen her for low testosterone and my thyroid and she helped me get back on track with my weight I went from 235 to 180 she also motivated me to workout and eat healthy. I know when it's time to see her I have to kick it in too gear :) she's also is a Dr that leads by example she is in great shape which shows me what she is saying she uses in her everyday life. My husband has had Type 1 Diabetes since he was 10 years old. Since moving to the east valley, we decided to change his endocrinologist to be closer to our new home, and we landed at this one (big mistake). It first started at his first appointment when they ran tests on him that were not covered by our insurance. We made the mistake in assuming it was covered because the practice accepts our insurance, but we figured they would maybe mention some insurances they work with don't cover this specific test? Turns out our insurance did not accept this certain test because it does not have enough medical research and background to deem it necessary/accurate. So why did they recommend and run it? We brushed this under the table, but the final straw was what happened next, when this practice clearly showed that they do not have their patients best interest in mind (keep in mind as a healthcare provider, beneficence is a medical ethic in which you advocate for the patient and for what is best for them). My husband got assigned Jury Duty. Usually this would be no issue, except for the fact that we are currently in the peak of COVID-19 and this jury duty was in person, not virtual. Due to the nature of the current times, by husband did not feel comfortable being in a courtroom with strangers all day as he is a type 1 diabetic and at higher risk of serious complications from the virus. The Jury Duty office told him he could be excused due to a higher risk pre existing condition. Therefore, he contacted this practice asking for a simple letter to be faxed that would excuse him from going. Apparently this was too difficult for him and the practice manager told him that they will not do that for him. This made me wonder what their true intentions are for their patients? To truly care for them and help them through their illnesses, or just to get from them whatever would benefit the practice? I pray they would not do the same for an 80-year-old woman who is on oxygen and needs and exemption from a large public gathering in the midst of Coronavirus. Needless to say, this practice obviously does not have their patients best interest at heart, which should be the first thing in mind as a healthcare provider. read more

Medications called into the wrong pharmacy on my FIRST visit. I ended up having to figure it all out on my own because nobody ever returns phone calls! Also don't bother to send direct messages either because they don't respond to those either! Total waste of my time! Happy I was switched to another provider! This provider wouldn't even bother sending in a prior authorization for my meds. Well at least the medical assistant told me " It's not going to be covered anyway" funny because my new provider submitted it and was able to get it covered! Due to being a higher risk of complications from my type one diabetes the jury duty office told me to have a letter sent from my doctor excusing me from jury duty. After speaking with the office manager she informed me that if she did it for me she would have to do it for everyone. Said maybe 10 people asked in the last month or so which I heavily doubt. She said everyone else has to go through it, and she wouldn't have the doctor send an exemption letter which was only asked of them due to the current times of Covid. With her tone, and thought process this business clearly doesn't care at all about patients health and being burdened to send a fax which will take 5 minutes is too much effort for someone that is at a higher risk of complications if I got Covid. They also order tests to be done that are not covered by insurance due to "not enough medical evidence" behind the tests they ordered even though they tell you it's covered by insurance. read more

She is efficient, and thorough, and very personable. A rare combination. It's pretty obvious this place is awful after reading the reviews. All of these reviews are all completely accurate. This place will not pick up their phone. I've been trying to get my medical records released for the past month now. When you do get someone on the phone they transfer you to a line that never picks up and never returns voicemails. Every scheduled appointment i've made with them gets extended by an hour everytime before i'm seen. I would be embarrassed to work here at this point. It's unfortunate because the doctor is fine, but the staff makes things impossible to deal with. I will never give this place my money again and I hope nobody else does. Latest and final development: Today (07/09) I received a letter from dr. Belitsky's office stating she is withdrawing completely from my medical care. No reasons were given, although I'm quite sure what those might be. The letter was written and signed on 06/29, which was the very next day I was contacted by one of her nurses. I find it curious how I was not contacted at all to present my side of the story. I was unceremoniously dismissed as a patient without being given a chance to set the record straight.  After almost 10 years of what I thought was a good patient/doctor relationship, I was the one being let go for no good reason. Loyalty apparently means absolutely nothing. I always arrived ahead of time for my appointments and I always waited patiently even when dr. Belitsky was running behind schedule. I always paid my bills and copays. Whenever I needed to change an appointment, I went to her office in person (because it is nearly impossible to get someone on the phone, or get a call back). I was always courteous and pleasant not only to dr. Belitsky, but to whomever I came in contact. And I've always followed her treatment. I've abided by all the rules, while some of her staff blatantly, consistently and openly have not. If dr. Belitsky is at a point in her career where she can "fire" patients for nothing, then God bless! I still wish her nothing but success.  Prospective and current patients, beware. As you can see from previous reviews, the problem is NOT dr. Belitsky or her competency as an endocrinologist, rather with some of the people who work for her. I still maintain she's a terrific doctor. It is really too bad our "relationship" has come to such a sad and unfortunate end. I must confess I am thrilled I'll never have to interact with her office again, though. All the best in your career and future endeavors, dr. Belitsky! And thank you. PHONES!!!!! Either this facility needs staff that will answer the phones or a new phone system. It is VERY difficult to get someone on the phone VERY!. Ive personally left over 6 voicemails, with NO call back. The extensions that are prompted to dial do not work, or half the time the mailbox is full. The is frustrating and needs to fixed. I was at labcorp to get labs drawn and they couldn't read the Order, they attempted to call the office and I waited an hour trying to get through!! Needles to say I still do not have my labs drawn because no one is returning to my voicemails!! read more
