I appreciate it that so much because other doctors just gave me medication without even looking at what else could be the issue. The other thing that was awesome is their flexibility to do Telemedicine. Her office is in chandler and I live in the west valley. Telemedicine allows me to stay current on my appointments. They even go above and beyond and send my lab referrals to an office near me to complete.

So I left him and never looked back. Meeting with Dr Andrea Ferenczi was a breath of fresh air. She listened to my concerns, asked relevant questions and provided me with basic information on living with diabetes, which my previous doctor did not. When I asked him for info on diabetes he told me to just Google it. Like what the actual fork? After my initial consult with her I pretty much see a PA whenever I go in. I am sure she reviews their notes from time to time but I'm not complaining. The PA's are all top notch and I have no complaints there. The appointments run on time so the expected forty minute wait past your scheduled appt doesn't occur which is nice. The only thing I have an issue with is that some of the meds they prescribe for me require a preauthorization from the doctor's office for the insurance to run it through. For whatever reason getting the office to fax those through to the insurance company is a total fiasco! It's great that they prescribe the meds that you need but if they can't get the pre approvals done it's no bueno. So following up repeatedly is a must for that. Otherwise I really like this place.

I had an us-guided thyroid biopsy at the clinic, and the doctor cut into her lunch hour to do the procedure rather than have me come back another day. Her assistant did the same, and it was their idea to have me do it then, not mine- but I truly appreciated it. BTW her assistant is crazy good at needle sticks, and I barely felt her draw blood. The office is clean and inviting, and the ladies at the front desk are a hoot. I have had no issues with scheduling or billing, and I would definitely recommend Dr. Nguyen to anyone in need of an endocrinologist. Then she again worked with me after I hit menopause, for more adjustments. I feel great, feel like myself again! It is worth the process, but may take a few rounds of checking your bloodwork (my insurance covered lab work), but have patience with the process. And be sure to tell Dr M ALL your symptoms, for me, anxiety was a huge one that my levels weren't quite right. Dr M can only help you FULLY if you're honest with ALL your symptoms! There is no shame in sharing everything! Please read the book by Suzanne Somers, "I'm too Young for This," all about perimenopause and menopause.
