Excellent, changed my life! Dr Maturo patiently worked with me, adjusting my perimenopause bioidentical hormones, until all my bad symptoms were gone. Then she again worked with me after I hit menopause, for more adjustments. I feel great, feel like myself again! It is worth the process, but may take a few rounds of checking your bloodwork (my insurance covered lab work), but have patience with the process. And be sure to tell Dr M ALL your symptoms, for me, anxiety was a huge one that my levels weren't quite right. Dr M can only help you FULLY if you're honest with ALL your symptoms! I cannot say enough about the incredible care I am receiving here! When I first came in, my hormone levels were a nightmare. I gained a ton of weight from a medicine I was on and just felt like garbage! Now, I can feel myself getting back to normal, which is great! I am always seen on time and feel like I am a priority to them. Both the doctor and her staff answer whatever questions I have (in great detail!) and are kind, supportive and helpful! Worst experience ever, I will never return to this business and will continue to write other reviews to warn others to go elsewhere. Went to Dr.Maturo and paid the $360somthing that is required upfront and what do you get for that? Who knows it's not verified or written anywhere nor is it explained to you so I will tell you what I received for that exorbitant price: Meet with Lisa for initial visit took her about 15 Minutes to listen to me talk about my issues and she subscribed the mid range of hormones to see how I would react then we would have adjusted from their. My insurance covered the initial blood test I paid cash for those initial hormone creams ($150) progesterone estrogen testosterone She also upsold me about another $100 in her supplements sold in office Meanwhile the hormone creams made me act like a crazed lunatic stoped all of them and disposed them Returned for 2nd blood test which my insurance paid for, while I was there scheduled my next appointment and opted for a text/email reminder which I never received. Got a message left on my phone saying you are late for your appointment wondering if you are going to show up!!! Oh and you guessed it they charge for missed appointments so no surprise why I did not get the reminder. Repeatedly requested the results of my 2nd blood test which I paid for therefore it should be supplied to me and have been completely ignored. No return call to see what happened to me or ANYTHING ZERO ZIP NOTTA haven't heard a word from them in over 5months now. So that's what I got for over$360. Fifteen minutes of blah blah thanks for your hard earned cash that you,your husband and three children all gave up little extras so mom could take care of her health. This place absolutely changed my life ! Before coming to see Dr. Maturo I was overwhelmed, scared and confused about my thyroid condition. On my first appointment I was greeted by the office manager Byron I believe his name was and he was nothing but professional and explained any questions I had about my appointment as well as paper work. I waited only a few minutes to be called back in to see the doc which is a plus as I've waited HOURS at previous doctors. The MA Julie was very efficient and fun as she has the coolest accent as she's from the UK. She was able to help ease my anxiety by actually taking the time to talk with me about what the Doctor was going to do and what I was being seen for.. When Doctor Maturo came in to see me her demeanor and down to earth charm really set me at ease. She was very easy to talk to and she actually took the TIME to LISTEN to me and help me understand my condition and what my options would be from there. I got my blood drawn in the office (unfortunately I don't think she's there anymore) and she was amazing at drawing blood and made it fast and painless. Since that day and my follow up appointments I have never felt so healthy and on track in my life !!! I would recommend this group to anyone and everyone!!! My initial experience with Dr. Maturo was great - as the other reviews said, she was very polite and seemed interested in helping solve the issues I was facing. I never felt "heard" when visiting, but she changed prescriptions, etc., so I thought maybe it was just a personal disconnect. A good doctor is more important than friendliness, so I was totally on board! Sadly, my last visit to Maturo Medical was very disappointing. She had recommended a blood test, and the purpose of our appointment was to discuss the results and recent symptoms that I'd been experiencing. Instead, I was very quickly checked off her to-do list and told 'goodbye'. The results of my test were "basically perfect" ? And in response to my painful symptoms, she said "good luck" figuring it out. When I prompted her to lend some expertise as to how I should figure it out on my own, the best recommendation she could provide was to "maybe get a journal or an app". If I could give a polite recommendation, it would be to offer test results by phone. Had I not lost so much of my day commuting to the office to be pushed out the door, I would have been much more willing to go back. I came here initially because I was tired of the skepticism of traditional endocrinologists, and I was hoping to find someone that would listen to my body. I have a new life, in great part to Dr. Maturo, and her approach to bio-identical hormone replacement therapy! I had initially recieved treatment via "pellet" therapy at another clinic,and did not notice any great results. Since beginning my treatment with Dr. Maturo, I have noticed a RADICAL difference in my feelings of health and especially well being!
