The two ladies at the front desk today were very pleasant to every patient that came in. I would suggest moving the check-in kiosks to a place that is a bit more obvious to people coming in through the door so that these ladies can focus on their jobs instead of directing people to the kiosk every minute. They were both very accommodating to anyone who walked in and polite to a couple of patients who were frustrated when they didn't bring in their own paperwork (one woman wasn't even in the right blood lab, and they still directed her with kindness). If you can get an appointment, you're in and out lickety split. If you can't get an appointment, I do not suggest going at 6 AM because everyone who has to be fasting for their blood test is there and the wait for walk-ins can be a little long. Try 645 or 7 o'clock. Every time I've gone, I am pleasantly surprised by those who draw my blood. They are usually very quick and patient. I've gone to other places for my blood tests and I usually end up bruised - not here! i've never developed a bruise a day later, and it has never hurt. this is my go to place for blood tests. Even when they don't have available appointments, this is where I go! As for the waiting room, there's plenty of seating and you get to watch your name countdown on the waitlist screen.

Very polite and a few people did leave but did not seem very upset as they left. I was called in about 20 minutes after my appointment time, and I was greeted and apologized to for the wait and it was fine. Bea was terrific as far as taking care of me and she was very patient and professional. I was very appreciative of her care for me. Just keep in mind that when it is busy, they are still there to help you. They do not deserve any grief. Appointments always work out for the best experience as far as I have seen. I arrived at the facility at 7:05 for my 7:15 appointment and checked in through my phone, but after going to the kiosk at 7:40, I was told that, because I was late, I would be treated as a walk-in. To clarify, I was not late--I was early. I had to leave by 8:05 due to my schedule. It's misleading to advertise online check-in if it's not effectively implemented. I visit your lab frequently, often twice a month, and it's absurd that I have to submit my insurance card whenever I've already provided that information on your portal. The customer service I experienced was inadequate and lacking empathy. As a disabled person, walking is a significant challenge for me, and I'm currently dealing with mobility issues. While I have a wheelchair, I struggle to get it out of my vehicle without assistance, which further complicates matters. I recognize that LabCorp's time is valuable, but so is mine. I manage a large company and don't have the luxury of waiting an hour for lab work. Making an appointment should minimize wait times. Additionally, I called your customer service for assistance but never received a call back.

When I felt like I was being annoying, she was sweet and willing to help me every step of the way. She even made me laugh a couple times! And Rosa who took my bloodwork and preformed my breath test, was gentle and sweet. This was truly a shockingly good experience because I went to a different lab company the day before and I was so frustrated with them, I walked out. Oh and the screen in the wait room to show when you are next in line is a nice touch! The last place I went to, I sat in the waiting room for an hour after check in and was never acknowledge. A screen like that would have given me some reassurance that I wasn't being missed. Labcorp, thank you for not only opening on a Saturday, but for also hiring people who care about their patients.
