PROS: - Good variety of types of beers/ ciders and vendors - 6 food trucks on the premises to help you sober up in between drinks - GENIUS beer caddy necklaces to help you keep track of your beer cup and hold it hands free - This event was on a Tuesday (we work nights and weekends and beer events are rarely on our nights off) - The location is gorgeous with a cool water fountain and nice landscaping. - They had a cover band for entertainment - They did let us use the indoor bathrooms which was nice. - unlimited beer. Duh. CONS: -It was outdoors and rather hot and crowded -They had a really NICE and large air-conditioned indoor area that we were initially allowed in (it had more beer, a photo booth, some food, a stage, most importantly...air conditioning). We left for more beer and tried to return just to be told we weren't allowed in. VIP only. That is like giving someone a bite of bacon and then dangling the rest in front of them while they starve. -They seemed to not have enough parking. We were directed to park on the side of the road and we arrived 20 minutes after the event started. -I was one of the winners of their twitter contest and they only gave me about 40 minutes to get my prize. I found out 20 minutes after the deadline because I didn't get a notification from twitter and I was busy in the Burger Culture line and eating. The baskets were already gone. :( I hope they fix a few things for next year, but I would definitely attend again. It was a lot of fun, we were able to try a lot of new beers and we even have a small plastic beer glass and beer caddy souvenir. Next year I am going to look into upgrading to VIP.

It's amazing at how many baseball players originated from the Tampa area. They have a whole case of signed balls from all of the Tampa players. Parking is a little tricky if you aren't from the area. The parking on the street around the museum is for museum volunteers only. Then your only option is street parking down the street or a lot. All parking is paid at all times. There is never any free parking. The good thing is we had the app already on our phone so we were able to pay using our phone and it was only 50 cents for two hours. I think that is what my husband said. So parking isn't a big money maker there, just an inconvenience for those that are from out of town trying to navigate the parking situation.
