We had our wedding at OceanCliff on March 9th and were so glad we hired Toni. She is truly an artist. Jamie and I gave her the vision, but she brought it to life. We repurposed all our flowers and rentals from our ceremony to our reception and the transitions were flawless. Her professional relationship with OceanCliff helped to ensure we were able to create an entirely new floor plan in their ballroom specific to our wedding needs and wishes. I had dozens of guests say to me, "I have never seen such beautiful flower arrangements", this happened all night and after the wedding too. They were absolutely stunning arrangements. The colors were exactly what I asked and envisioned. Amazingly, the arrangements lasted for more than week after the wedding. Toni, listens and is supported by a great team that help her bring it all to life. Ali, her assistant was very responsive to all my questions through the entire planning process. The week of the wedding I gave Toni my Grandmother's antique hat pins as my "something borrowed" to add to my bouquet. They looked so beautiful and meant a lot to me and my Grandmother who could not attend the wedding. It was a last minute detail that Toni was happy to accomodate. PHENOMINAL !!!! Toni did my small wedding, which took place in a warehouse off Thames St. Her arrangements, my bouquet and flower crown were so excellent that one of my musicians called his wife specifically to come get a glimpse of the gorgeous flowers. I literally cannot give her enough praise - impeccable taste, so wonderful and friendly, and just an absolute slam dunk. As we paraded down Thames Street to our reception, many folks shouted congratulations, but every now and then someone would yell out 'love the bouquet!' That's when you know Toni's a total genius. Extremely unprofessional. Called the bride the night before the wedding to discuss the centerpieces because she couldn't remember what she was supposed to do. The bride was already busy with other wedding stuff being it is the night before. As maid of honor I told the bride to let me deal with it. When we got to the venue the next day the centerpieces were not what was discussed and she was very rude. I asked her if this is what was discussed and she just kept saying this is what was on the proposal. Which it was not. Very cold. She also forgot the pedals for the follower girl. AMAZING!! UNBELIEVABLE!! PERFECTION!! I could go on and on and on . . . Toni and her team made my floral vision a reality and then some. From the first meeting, Toni seemed to just understand my vision and was able to expand on it in ways I hadn't even imagined. Toni made herself available to help with not only the flowers, but the entire decor of the wedding. She helped picked all the linens and made sure all my choices went together to create my vision. Toni also met for a second time to clarify all the choices and double check that all the t's were crossed and i's dotted. When it came time for the big day I was blown away by the end result. TL;DR: Consulting appointment in November with a promise of proposal for wedding. Did not respond to us until February. Simply said sorry, got too busy. We met with Toni as she was recommended by our venue. Our initial meeting was great. She saw our vision even better than us, started a Pinterest board for us and said she'd follow up with a proposal the following week. Even with a few follow ups from us, we didn't hear from her. At first I thought maybe there was a personal issue that we were not aware of, but she let me know 3-4 MONTHS down the road by commenting on one of my posts via social media of all things, that she just got busy. It looks like we're not the first she did this to. There are a few reviews on the Knot that describe the same thing. Very unprofessional, unreliable, and disappointing. Toni Chandler created my bouquet for my elopement to Newport, Rhode Island. I found her via reviews on Wedding Wire, and both her and her assistant Erin were very pleasant to work with. I liked how I got to talk to Toni one on one and share pictures with her on my Pinterest board so that she could understand my tastes. We met with Toni well before we had picked out our wedding color theme, and by just meeting us and without much info at all, she pulled together some photos of floral arrangements she thought we might like... and totally captured the look I had in mind!
