Beyond creating an incredibly bespoke and personal menu for us (with plenty of GF and veggie options!) Sally was instrumental to the process. She helped us book all of our rentals (tent, flatware, plates, tables, etc) and she was always there for advice and to offer suggestions based on her experience. She met with us at PEAK to pick out our tableware, she gave us great suggestions for anything else we needed to rent, coordinated all the setup both on Friday and our actual wedding day, and was so prompt in her replies via email or phone. We could not have pulled it off without her expertise! We would have ended up spending a lot more money overall if we didn't have her guidance. And of course the food was amazing. I loved the fact that it was all local and in-season! Sustainability was very important when picking our vendors, so I appreciated the attention to detail, the composting, and support of local farmers and growers. Plus we got to take home the leftovers! Win/win/win. Lastly, the whole team truly cares about the process. They don't just throw food in pans on the table, but craft such gorgeous tablescapes that look like they fit in perfectly with the rest of the event. Queen Anne's was exactly that for us. We had about 75 guests, and were comfortable, but cozy. Here are some words that come to mind when I think of the space: chic, vintage, intentional, beautiful, versatile and lovely. Amanda, the owner, was great from the start. Patient, kind and helpful. Her experience was evident throughout our entire planning process. She worked with us to up to the very end, easing our little anxieties and assisting us with whatever we needed. The staff at Queen Anne's was amazing! We were so pleased with the above and beyond service. A room flip was needed after the ceremony, for the reception. It was done in a timely, efficient fashion, and for that, we (and our guests), were so grateful. Food was exactly what we expected- and delicious. We opted for food stations, rather than a formal sit-down dinner. Appetizer platters, salad, sliders and pizza. Everything was fantastic. No complaints from us or our guests. We had a blast! It perfected suited our smaller wedding, about 50 guests in all (Not including our musical quartet), and never felt rushed, cramped, or inconvenienced. The food was delicious, served timely to everyone with no issues. But the chandelier was the beautiful centerpiece highlighting the warm glow for an evening ceremony. Amanda was always available for any questions and there on the event day to ensure it started without a hitch. Rocco's used to be on that list, but new ownership makes it a bit of a question mark right now. This place always delivers: a solid menu with a strong emphasis on seafood, a long cocktail list with prices still reasonable for the area ($12-$14), and reliably good service. Portions are generous and the food is consistently well prepared. We split the bacon-wrapped scallops to start, then had duck and a seafood pasta for entrées--both excellent. Highly recommended. And when the weather cooperates, the outdoor dining right on the water is a real bonus.

He had a regular barbeque flavor with a nice sweet sauce, a Monterey flavor and a pineapple habenero flavor. All of the sauces were on the sweet side. I really can't say which was my favorite: they were all good. The worst part was having to smell the meat being smoked the entire day before the meal was served...definetly a form of Chinese water torture.

It was breakfast, lunch and dinner for two that was restaurant style food. Mike loves to go out to dinner and really misses that kind of food. So I thought that this would be a special thing for him and when I explained it to him after he really thought it was a great idea. Unfortunately the food was supposed to come Saturday between one and four in the afternoon and it didn't. So I went out and bought seafood and a bunch of desserts and goodies that he likes so that he would have something on Valentine's Day as the meals were his gift. So I spent a lot of money on the seafood and other goodies and lo and behold on Valentine's Day, which was the next day, we went out in the morning for a drive. When we got back there was a box on the front step from Edible Creations. I don't know how long it was out there but fortunately it was a cold day so we weren't worry about food spoiling. Unfortunately we had seafood to cook and eat while it was still fresh. We took the meals and desserts from and put them in our back hallway which is quite cold. And we took the next couple of days to eat all of it despite the fact that we did have leftover seafood so it was kind of a little mixed up thing going on. I have to say that that food I ordered was absolutely delicious. The quantity of food as far as the meal sizes was amazing. I ordered two breakfasts which included pancakes, sausage, eggs and home fries. It was perfect for a meal for one. Mike ate part of mine which is typical and he really enjoyed the breakfast. After breakfast we had cinnamon rolls that I had ordered. Mike is a big fan of cinnamon rolls. These were absolutely amazing. And they were six full-size cinnamon rolls. When I ordered six and I think that was the minimum you could order I expected to have small catered buffet size pastries. They instead were a full-size cinnamon roll covered in caramel and nuts. He was absolutely crazy about them and I liked them as well. I ordered him a chicken pot pie for lunch. I don't like chicken pot pie but he loves it so this was a great way for me to get him what he likes without having to cook it. It was a full 9 inch or 10 inch pie. It was about 2 inches thick and so thick that it took ages in the oven at a low heat for it to heat through, it was fully cooked. For dessert for his lunch I ordered apple turnovers. Again I was expecting to get small catered size turnovers which would've been fine because I had to order six again. They were full size turnovers and they were just incredible. I didn't expect to get this much food in this quality of food not having tried them before. And for dinner I ordered Thanksgiving dinner for Mike which he loves and chicken Parm and pasta for me. They were two full meals. I ate some of mine for dinner and Mike ate the rest of the following day. I had to cut up the chicken pot pie and put it into meal size bags in the freezer so that Mike could take them out and enjoy them whenever he wanted them. The quality of the food was absolutely amazing. I can't say it enough. And the price was just incredible. With tax it was $117 for all of that oh and I forgot the individual cheesecakes that we got for dessert after dinner. I ordered those separately and they were delicious. If you order more than $50 worth they will deliver for free and they only deliver three days a week so you have to be careful for that. Their website is easy to negotiate. I just wish there was some communication. They didn't deliver it the day they were supposed to and they never notified me. They delivered it the next day and left it on the front step not even knowing if I was going to be home. Not one word have I heard from them since then apologizing for the delay. I just don't understand it. But I would definitely sort this out and order from them again and again and again.
