Matt Chandler was amazing as I took a resident from Local Memory Care to visit the orchard, this was her dream to visit an orchard again as her family had an orchard when she was younger, Matt made accommodations, and was able to make this dream a reality. His kindness, willingness to go above and beyond for no other reason than to see a smile on a persons face. Matt knelt down on the ground to talk to resident and made her feel so welcomed and validated. We need more people in the world like Matt, who isn't just in it for business but has a heart to let his light shine. We had a great time at Chandler's, even late in the season. They had a late harvest apple available for u-pick around Halloween and everything was still up and running for pumpkins. We went on a free tractor ride to the fields and around the property and really enjoyed sitting outside. The best part of our experience was the little shop with local made goods and meats. We found some awesome stuff for gifts. The website makes the food situation seem a little better than it is. There's a food truck parked around back that has a few things and we didn't especially love anything we ordered. But it was super affordable, and I highly recommend the apple cider slush! A woman, who I assume was the owner or at least a very charismatic employee, was super kind and loved chatting with us. We will be back and continue to support local. read more

Greatest apple cider anywhere and the apples are crispy and juicy. You won't go wrong with anything they have.

First the GPS address was 8250 US 40. This was a charming u pick farm that was a perfect find for our small family! We felt good about giving our business to a small local farmer, while still partaking in harvest fun with our 20 month old daughter. No frills, but also no mega crowds! It's mid-Sept. 2018 and pricing is $20 for 1 peck bag of honeycrisp and golden delicious mix. Or they have smaller prepicked varieties in the small country market. The young driver and his father took us on a tractor pulled wagon, to and from the rows that were ready, and both staff provided great friendly conversation. We learned they have planted strawberries for next year, and they have u pick pumpkins in early October. The best feeling was when we found out they are using more natural and organic methods. This will be our family tradition to visit and we highly recommend this local spot for fresh produce, eggs and dairy products. read more
