Due to construction that's why it's moved to the circle. I noticed today they've added more food trucks which they did need. They definitely could add more. You have lots of visitors and people who work downtown who attend lots of functions that happen on the circle. Flying Dirt Farm, Hunter's Honey Farm, Chez Pauline are ones I always stop at. They have vegetables, flowers, soaps, and more. It seems like when it first started in May it wasn't as busy. Now, you can tell it's picked up. Good for the vendors! Because of you meet all those requirements, you can visit Indianapolis' Original Farmers' Market and have a terrific time. Market Street is closed to vehicular traffic during the Farmers Market, so it gets transformed into a pedestrian mall. There must have been 50 vendors on both sides of the street. And what might those vendors sell? Probably every type of fruit and vegetable grown in the state of Indiana, plus spices, ciders, baked goods, oils, vinegars, eggs, meats, granola, wine, flowers, beef jerky, coffees, guacamole, salsa, tostadas, soap, cosmetics, honey, popcorn, lemonade, bakery goodies, egg rolls, pet foods, teas, coffee, and cocktail mixes. It's a gorgeous sensory overload of reds and oranges and yellows and greens as you see stall after stall of amazing looking produce. I picked up some great beef jerky and a bottle of cocktail mix from Tailored Toddies. This was one helluva great Farmers Market!

It's such a natural and great way to bring new faces into the space and celebrate local makers. The farmers market is a great family activity and often features live music, storytelling and other charming activities. We often end up grabbing brunch from Llama Delicatessen and Tinker Coffee. As for market vendors, you'll find everything from pasta and local cheese to winter produce, honey and dried flowers. It's a great assortment of food you can actually take home to make meals (and not just sauces and soaps ;). This is one of our favorite ways to spend Saturday mornings in the winter. The Amp - even tho it is not by anything - has the audacity to have pay parking lots but they are FREE during the farmers market! This market is huge with lots of vendors. Bring CASH. Most take credit but a few younger businesses only do cash or Venmo. There's a lot to offer - Filipino food, vegetables, fruits, spices, handmade crafts, baked goods, candles, sandwiches, etc. The food stalls are also open so you have a ton of awesome options for food while you are there!

He sells local eggs, herbs, plant starters, homemade sourdough breads, ceramic mugs, flowers, vegetables and more. All you have to do is walk up to the table out front and say your name for simple pick up. Jason is a super friendly guy, so it's always nice to see him and chat as well. If you live nearby, I highly recommend that you start picking up goods from Jason each week. It's a great way to be sustainable and supportive of local farmers. Jason also always has gardening, baking, and farming tips and is a wealth of knowledge. Feel free to ask him anything! This is a great addition to the Herron Morton neighborhood and neighboring areas like Old Northside and Kennedy King. What to expect? This is a small, newer farmers market with around ten local vendors ranging from mini massages and produce to BBQ and coffee. The beauty of this market is its small, kid-friendly park setting that features playground equipment, bike parking and plenty of shade. The market is every Saturday through the summer months and easy to spot on Alabama St. (which is conveniently a very bike-friendly street). The Near North Farmers Market is open from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays in June through September. The market is in its second year of running. Can't wait to watch this little cutie grow!

The staff is wonderful and cares a lot about the guests happiness. The only thing I did NOT care for is for the parents being required to pay to join the fun festival area. It's just for kids and you have to pay to enter to supervise your kiddos. Still, worth it. We will be back!
