A gel manicure and pedicure should last more than 24 hours, especially when you're made aware it is for an immensely important occasion for the client. Dear Diary, Day 22:…read more It's been twenty two long days since I had my eyelashes put on. At this point, I'm convinced the extensions have fused with my natural lashes and will never come off. After day 8 I became frustrated with these things because I was sensitive to the glue so I tried removing them with oil. Regular oil and oil based eye makeup remover were tried. They barely moved. I think I lost 5 lashes and the rest stayed. It's ok. I've come to accept that they are now my lashes, here to stay, possibly forever. My eyes have toughed up to the glue and are much less sensitive now because, frankly, there was no choice. These things are durable and put on so well. If I ever need eyelash extensions again, I will probably go back and have them done at I Lash 4ever. When I had them put on, it was so relaxing I kept falling asleep. I just wish my eyes weren't initially so sensitive to the glue but my eyes are sensitive to everything so it was to be expected. But, who knows if I'll ever need eyelash extensions again, my dear diary. These things have barely moved off my face in three weeks. She chatted with me the entire time and mixed colors to find the best shade for me and my skin tone. It was amazing.
