Muah was so great in the lead up and then at my wedding. It started with my bridal trial. I was linked up with Ashlee, the owner and master artist. She asked me what I was thinking of and worked collaboratively with me to make sure that my make up was exactly what I wanted it to be. The girls in the shop suggested that I do the trial before an event so I could make the most of my made up face. I went to a wedding later that day and received nothing, but incredible compliments on my make up. Second time around, I returned for my shower make up. Ashlee was working a different event and wasn't able to do my makeup, instead I had Jessica. Jessica was so lovely and personable. She chatted with me the entire time and mixed colors to find the best shade for me and my skin tone. It was amazing. Then for my big day, the store was so accommodating and they were happy to travel wherever I needed them to. It was greatly appreciated that their travel time was already worked into the price. I was only expecting Ashlee and Jessica, but we also got Nicky at no extra cost! All three of them were wonderful and worked very efficiently to make sure that each of my bridesmaids, my mother, and I were all well taken care of. Ashlee was even happy to pause on her way out to help touch up my makeup after I smudged it. Highly recommend working with Muah. Their store is super cute too! And they travel with their own light, so even if you don't have a space with the correct lighting, they'll still be able to take care of you. read more

Between the pandemic and having another baby it had been a while before I was able to come to Muah Makeup for services again. Ashlee was super accommodating and opened up her place an hour early to do my makeup so that I had time to be ready and get my family ready before my event today. She did a phenomenal job at making me feel so pretty and did individual lashes which I absolutely love. She also was so personable throughout the appointment and went above and beyond to make sure I was my best self for my event. So glad to be able to go back to Muah whenever I have an event. Terrible terrible terrible....worst makeup ever!! Allison did my makeup. She rushed and did not blend the makeup at all. It looked wet and cakey. And their was a skin gap between my eyeliner and my eyelashes. She didn't even put blush on me and didn't put any bronzer or anything. I had to redo my makeup after for my engagement pictures. I emailed them for a refund and I haven't heard back. Update- The owner of the shop emailed me back and was very accommodating. Thank you. read more

I was very happy with my make up application. I had the Elite artist do my make up. I was not sure what I wanted but I told her it was for my baby shower and I wanted something natural. She did a fantastic job and I received compliments from everyone. My scheduled appointment was on time and ended on time. She was very nice and I would recommend this business to anyone looking to get their make up do. Went back for a second appointment for my daughters christening. I made an appointment with a master stylist (second from the highest) but the morning of the appointment got a call that that master stylist wasn't going to be available and they only had a standard stylist (lowest) so I agreed because at that point I had no choice and I needed to get my makeup done in the next 2 hours. They explained that the master had a medical emergency. The standard artist did an ok job. Her face makeup choices were light for my skin tone and her eye make up was a bit bold for me even though I specifically asked for natural tones. I was expecting some type of discount due to the last minute change or some type of compensation for the change in appointment but even when I asked the said the standard price is the lowest they can charge even though I didn't make an appointment for a standard and they changed it 2 hours prior. Scheduling is important and if the master was not going to be available the elite artist (who is the owner) should have been there to do the make up for all those that made appointments with the master at the master price. I got downgraded last minute and did not get "I'm sorry for the inconvenience ". read more

She was also super sweet and gave great recommendations for what type of look I should go for. Going forward, I will definitely be a returning customer the next time I want my makeup done professionally. Today was my first time stopping into Muah! Nice to see a beauty bar come town with a plethora of salons who don't offer Muah's services. The bar was empty, but I stopped in midday on a Fri. I could definitely see them being busy evenings and weekends. Their set up is chic, and the chart-topping beats played create a fun, and lively environment. Sad to see that only strip and individual lashes are offered, but not lash extensions, yet! Will definitely be booking a reservation here for my next event. read more

Totally unimpressed by this location. Went in on Saturday for a makeup lesson including lash application, everyday look and hi light and contour. I went home and redid the makeup because I looked awful!! I have combination skin. The makeup artist used a BB cream on my face instead of foundation. I have under eye circles. She put concealer on top with no corrector. When I asked if she was going to use corrector she said no and then I said I need corrector so she only put it on one eye!! Who does this?? She should have removed the concealer and reapplied the corrector to both eyes. For my everyday eyeshadow it was one lid color which was champagne colored . Again who does this? Lash application on top and no mascara on the bottom lashes. It was a disaster. I wasted money and time. read more

I got my makeup done here for a holiday party. Their products are great. It was light and didn't feel caked on. I didn't notice any creasing that tends to happen to me. i was going to do my own makeup for my small courthouse wedding, but last minute changed my mind and thankfully was able to get fit in for a trial and wedding day appointment a little over a week before the big day. for my trial, ashlee took more time than scheduled to make sure i was comfortable with my look and especially my foundation color, as the lightest they had was still too dark/orange for my pale face. she redid the whole foundation look and didn't let me leave without feeling good about how i looked. she also applies lashes so they don't dare fall off! took a good amount of coco oil to get them off haha. on the day of my wedding, she adjusted my look to my preference based on my feelings from the trial and it was PERFECT. choosing to come to Muah Makeup was a great decision I'm so glad I found them!!!!!! Unfortunately, I did not like the makeup the woman did on me at all. I went in there, with no makeup- stating that I wanted very "natural" and LIGHT eyeshadows. I know what works best of my face, and the woman seemed to understand. The finished product, was dark (black was in the crease) eyeshadow, which made my eyes look so small and the exact opposite of what I wanted. I left, upset, and took off my makeup completely. Very disappointed that I wasted the money. And then, the day after on my actual birthday I get an email for free lash application, even though they charged me for lash application the day before knowing it was my birthday. Ashlee did a great job on my daughter's makeup for her senior prom. We drove 25 minutes to get to the shop, but well worth it. Everyone is so nice and friendly. This place is amazing!!! I have a wedding this weekend so I looked on yelp for a place near the hotel that puts on false lashes (since I'm terrible at doing them myself!). Love that they have a free lash application for your first time yelp check in. The salon is so adorable! It is pretty small so be mindful you might have to wait a bit. The lashes look incredible!!! I've already had a ton of compliments and I'm sure I'll get plenty more at the wedding tonight. I also think it's awesome they have makeup classes to learn different makeup techniques. What an amazing concept! I used to have to fight mall traffic just to have my make up done, or stock up on some beauty essentials, but this convenient little beauty bungalow is all that I need! I have had my make-up and lashes applied by Kaity multiple times, and always get stopped or asked from social media photos/comments about who did my make up! She is totally amazing as are all of the staff at Muah! I would go here every day if it were closer to my home!
