Two days later, I notice the lashes started to fall one by one but I had a busy work week so I didn't pay too much attention until day 5 I woke up and saw a small gap of no lashes on my R eye, which bothered me so much because I had a Chinese new year party coming up. I texted them to let them know If I can come by to fix it but it seems like regardless of the reasoning they still would charge $60 for one week fill. I'm not asking for free service but if the lashes are falling out within 5 days to the point you have empty gaps, I don't mind paying $20-$30 just to fill in gaps. Pretty disappointing.

It was a little bit too dramatic for my eye shape in person but in photos, they look great. It lasted throughout most of my two week trip to Bali/Singapore (vacation flex) through extreme heat, humidity, sunscreen, and sweat. I try not to get lash extensions too often because I find that my actual lashes fall out too, so this is a special occasion thing for me. However, I would definitely come back to LashGram for my future eyelash needs, but will go for more lashes per eye.

To me, paying extra to get a top-rated master technician doesn't make sense, especially when there are technicians who work there but aren't considered masters, yet the prices on the website don't change. You pay the same amount for each type of lash extensions you get, regardless of whether it's a master or another technician. I decided that I wanted to book with Christine, who was listed as the top option with the highest additional fee. However, when I called Christine's studio, I discovered she only does eyebrows, not lashes. This inconsistency between the website and reality is off-putting. I'm hesitant to try another lash technician because a friend had a terrible experience with someone outside of our usual technician. The glue got into her eye, the lashes looked bad, and some even fell off. It was a mess, but we continued with our regular technician until she left. Now that our regular technician left and this updated policy, I just feel that it's time to part ways with Christine Lash Studio. If you're willing to take a risk, they often have Groupon deals you can use, but for me, lash extensions are too expensive to gamble with. The way they promote certain technicians as "master" and exclude others gives me the impression that they might not be as skilled as advertised. You can also schedule the appointment on their website. They did tell me there would be a $10 fee for lash supplies which I found very strange. If I'm getting this through Groupon, I don't think it's fair to pay something additional aside from tip. Anyway, once I checked in and aligned on the lash design I wanted, my lash technician began right away. The space is cozy, clean, and comfortable. The whole process took about 1 hour & 15 minutes; slightly longer than other lash spots I've been to but it seemed that she was very attentive to detail of my lashes. I love how they turned out and hopefully they last for a few weeks! All in, I paid about half of what normal price would be which is a good deal. I went to the shop 15 min before my appointment, and the technician had no record of my appointment. I then waited an hour total for the matter to get sorted, and the technician could not take me on that day. I was in a rush because I was coming out of a hectic time at work and wanted these done for an event, so wasting an hour wasn't easy to do. The technician had me contact the owner of the shop on my own because there was no record of my appointment -- turns out she hadn't written my time down. Unfortunately this was not surprising as she had seemed a little absent-minded on text. While the owner offered a refund, she wasn't able to offer that as it was purchased through Groupon. It was the cherry on top to my frustration to have her offer a solution that wouldn't work and I had to do my own research to come to that conclusion. I ended up getting the appointment so I wouldn't be wasting my money, but if I had other options I would've asked for refunds or discounts. The owner did apologize, but it took way too long and shouldn't have happened in the first place. The technician was sweet though and offered an alternate service, but it made no sense to spend an additional $40.

The technician didn't put any sort of protective eye shields underneath my eyes or follow any real procedure for the removal. It just felt like she applied solution and was even yanking the more stubborn ones out with my own lash. I've gotten lash extensions removed on several occasions, and this is the one time where it burned like crazy. I always keep my eyes closed and know to do so; but the technician was literally lifting my eyelid up as she was removing my lashes and getting solution or shampoo in. She said that extension removal is always painful and burns, which is literally not true at all. I've always had generally easy and pain free experiences with the whole process. Would not trust this place with lash application after all that in the slightest.
