Horrible. Avoid at all costs. Tiffany does what she wants; not what you ask for. Then she pressures you into liking the completely different look. I went back so she could darken my hair and she was noticeably annoyed. I had almost virgin hair and now my hair feels like straw. Definetly don't go if you want to avoid confrontation. The second picture is after she "darkened it". She dripped dye into my eye twice while showing me that my hair wasn't getting darker.. Don't ask for a refund either! Then you're a "scam artist" UPDATE So I didn't write the whole story because the point of my review was to warn other girls like me not trash talk. I found this woman online and fell in love with her work. I finally got in touch with her and she quoted me about $200. Way more than I want to spend for someone that is not well known so I told her that was out of my price range and wished her well. Nine days later, she texts me and says she wants to book an appointment. I told her I still didn't have the budget for that and that is when she said she'd do it for $100. I thanked her and was actually really excited. Three weeks later, I finally have an appointment. I asked what the latest time she could start on the day my appointment was bc I had to go to Houston to run an important errand. That's when she told me she actually had to take her mom to the doctor. It worked out well for both of us even though I thought it was a little strange that she just flat out moved it to the next day even though she told me she was always booked "six weeks out". So I'm waiting in the front and Tiffany comes out and ignores me for about a minute to talk to one of her friends about a hair show in Dallas. I overlooked that. She was nice the whole appointment and we talked a lot; I liked this person. I told her I wanted very natural looking balayage as if the sun had done it but maybe just a little more. I watched as she mixed a powder and a creamy thing in a bowl. (When I told her my hair was breaking off the next day, she claimed to have added the olaplex treatment which protects hair when you lighten it as much as she did even though she did not add it) She quickly noticed the shock on my face when she pulled the towel off of my hair to reveal almost blonde hair. She kept reassuring me that it would look great and that I would love it. Believing her, I tried to give it a chance. I really tried. In her defense, it looked pretty, just not on my skin tone. It wasn't at all what I asked for and since she went so much lighter, that meant that it damaged my hair that much more. So she completely disregarded me and decided to do what would look good to her. She also told me she saved on cost by not toning my hair.. Everyone I've talked to has told me that is an important step. I even agreed to take pictures in the 100 degree Texas heat. Notice how in one of the pictures I am uncomfortably close to a corner. She literally said "get as close to the corner as possible" so we could both fit in a tiny space for her precious pictures. Immediately when I got home, one of my neighbors sitting on her 2nd floor balcony complimented my new BLONDE hair. A lot of my friends complimented my BLONDE OMBRÉ. When I woke up the next day and it wasn't all pretty and curled, reality set in; my hair was breaking off, it felt like sandpaper, and it wouldn't even hold a curl. I looked horrible. Completely opposite of what I was going for. I tried to put my hair into a pony to see how it looked, it was streaky and almost and orangy color. So even though she asked me to "try it out for a few days before you make up your mind to make it darker" I could not.I called her as soon as I looked in the mirror the next morning and she told me "come at 2:30" no smileys or hearts or anything like before. Then she says, "come later I'm not done" I get there and she is doing her cousins (or niece idk someone she was related to) hair and is still nice but no where near as talkative or friendly as she was over text or the day she first got her hands on my hair. I see the little olaplex bottle next to the bowl with her relatives hair mixture. So she makes me wait for a long time then in between doing stuff to the other girls hair, she puts me in a sink and dyes my hair while she's spraying it with water. She dripped hair dye in my eyes not once, but TWICE. She was showing me that the hair wasn't getting darker like I'm supposed to know what to do. She also mentioned that she's "known for going off course" with clients. I go home, dry my hair and it's no where near where I want it to be. It's still way too light. I replied to her text a few days later and told her I wasn't happy with my hair and that's when she invites me back for a third time "to add darker pieces to the bottom". No thank you I just want a refund. Apparently then I'm a "scammer" and starts throwing personal blows. I will never return. read more

The staff at this establishment are BEYOND rude. I parked in their "marked" parking spots (can barely tell) with not to mention no towing sign anywhere in sight, for 1 minute while I ran in and grabbed a packet at tutor John. This lady ran out SCREAMING at me for parking in the spot. The way she handled this situation was uncalled for and completely unprofessional. I told her politely that I was running in and would be 1 minute and she kept blabbing off more rude remarks. Also not to mention the place was closing in 20 minutes and not a soul was parked around me. After the way this situation was held, I will never get my haircut here and will tell everyone I know NEVER to go here again. read more

I came to see Faye after a recommendation from a friend. After calling to book my appointment, I learned that each hair stylist operates independently under the same roof - all offering different prices. So when you call to schedule an appointment with someone particular, the stylist themselves will schedule you, not a front desk. My review is for Faye, the woman who cut my hair. As a new mom to an 11 month old, I was just needing a fresh new haircut. And we were taking family photos the next day so I inevitably waited until the last minute to try and find a new hairstylist. So I took to Facebook and polled my friends, she was recommended by 3 of them! Faye was able to fit me in to her busy schedule, and upon arrival greeted me as if I was a long time client. She had me sit to begin the appointment with a consultation - asked me what I was looking for etc, I showed her some photos and we got started. I just needed a basic wash, cut, blow dry - so she was able to get me in and out in about 35 minutes. It was the fastest I've ever had my hair done somewhere! We chatted during the appointment, and I learned she's been cutting hair here in BCS for over 25 years, so I was surprised I was able to even get an appointment with her! It sounded like she's very established with her clients and very much enjoys what she does. She charged me $30 as a first time client, and said after that it's $35. I was very happy with the price and had a wonderful experience. I left with a great haircut and I would recommend her to a friend. read more

I loved this place! Even though site says appointment only, I called and they said they could get me in within ten minutes! The shop is small and cozy but not super crowded. I was seen by a very personable and sweet woman named Rose who greeted me with a smile right when I came in. I don't get my hair colored or done often but she made me feel comfortable. I also appreciated how she didn't pressure me into get my hair blown dry and styled and let me know it wasn't that much more if I did change my mind to get it styled. For my cut and shampoo it was only $30! Way better than $50 or more at other places. read more
