The wait was much longer than we were told but still we were patient.  When the shutters were fitted,  we noticed that the church window's top slat would not open and was permanently closed. We called and the fitter returned,  confirming it was faulty and that new shutters would be ordered. Weeks later, we were told that there was no fault and that we would have to put up with the shutters the way they were despite them reducing light coming in and the fact that it was permanently closed which did not look nice at all. I persisted and for the second time they agreed there was a fault.  A couple if days later, we were again told there was nothing that could be done. Rude and condescending people. Definitely would not recommend,  all is good until something goes wrong. Awful company, terrible customer service.

Although I live in London, they came up for an initial visit to measure our windows and provide a quote. We then were able to choose from a range of styles & colours, which they politely got us to change based on their assessment of our decor, the window and the setting. I must say their recommendations were spot on. The shutters were ready in 4 weeks, and fitted the following week. The products are good quality, being made from American Yellow Poplar and Elm rather than MDF.

(You do hear horror stories.) There was a small glitch over the starting date due to staff illness, but otherwise everything ran smoothly and efficiently. It's a small house with very little extra space to leave stuff. We were having the walls, ceiling and floor done at the same time - all arranged with B&H Kitchens - but Darren the fitter had everything sorted out without any fuss and a minimum of inconvenience. The standard of work is excellent and we are very pleased with the end result. It's always good when you are dealing with helpful, friendly people, for whom nothing seems like too much trouble.
