We navigated to it by searching for the chapel and then taking the road behind it. Once you drive behind the chapel, the trees open into a large field with a structure at the far end of the open field. There is a rather steep hill between the road and the structure. A large bus was able to make it but it may seem daunting to visitors. We attended a wedding at this location. The wedding was beautiful. It is a scenic place set at the end of a large field. There is one large structure painted white with a large open area inside. There are 3 bathrooms, separate bride and groom areas and a storage area with a sink, refrigerator and table. There is not a real kitchen. The outside has a concrete pad to one side of the building. In the field, toward the road, are a fire pit and an outdoor wedding area set well away from the structure. The wedding area is farther out in the field with 2 large concrete pads for benches and a grass aisleway that faces an area for the wedding to take place in a backdrop of a forest. We used Erica for chair sashes, chargers, centerpieces (two different kinds - sticks and candles), and table runners. She transformed our previously bland room into an elegant and fun reception space. Numerous people commented on how well put together our reception space was, and I couldn't agree more! Erica did great work, and I couldn't give her a more unequivocal recommendation for any other brides seeking to use her services. First and foremost, Erica was easy to communicate with (both via email and phone). This was a big help on our end, as no one in the wedding party was located in the area where we had our wedding. As a "long distance" couple working with Erica, she quickly responded to all our questions and comments. Having worked with numerous vendors from a distance, this made the planning process quick and painless and a huge relief! Next, all of Erica's products that we used (sashes, table runners, centerpieces, and chargers) were high quality and really impressed at the wedding. Not only did the guests at our wedding repeatedly comment on on our reception space (and specifically Erica's work in putting it together), the manager of the reception hall also asked us for photos of the room so they could use them in promotional material for the space. Erica also did a great job of putting the room together on a short timeline. A "last minute" wedding booked our venue one week before our wedding for the Friday night before our Saturday wedding. This meant that Erica couldn't set up the room until the afternoon of our wedding (and was forced to juggle her already busy schedule to do so, as she originally could set up the room on Friday). Despite this, Erica and her team, did an awesome job of putting the room together and juggling their schedule, and everything looked wonderful! We would highly recommend using Erica for your wedding, as you won't be disappointed!

Ralph, the owner was great and very helpful. He permitted us to get in the day before to set up and decorate and the day of, the girls were able to go in at 9:00 am to spend the day getting ready in the spacious bathroom/dressing area. We set up for a little over 150 people. The tables are round and can fit 10 at each. There was plenty of space for the guests and a cute sweetheart table, DJ (Chris Moore-he is the best) and the food was in a separate room from the guests. Ralph helped with finding the caterer (manor grill which was fantastic too) as well as the bartenders (also great). Ralph helped us all with the ceremony since none of us were sure what to do! He was there for every part of the evening. Everything went perfect. I highly recommend this venue.

When I studied at Pitt, I love the Heinz Memorial Chapel a lot so my husband and I decided to have our wedding there after my graduation. At first, I thought I could handle all the wedding details by myself to save the money but then I figured out that mission impossible. I would have my wedding, my graduation project and final research paper at the same time! I would be an insane bride! So we started looking for wedding planners and Shari was the first one we contacted. Her professionalism, experienced attitude and thoughtful consideration really impressed us. After a few comparison with other wedding planners, we had Shari's assistant Andrea as our wedding planner. Andrea is the perfect one. She is nice, easy to communicate, thoughtful and very professional. I have no idea of how an American wedding goes like and she was so patient to explain all the details to me. She helped the most when we picking up all the vendors due to my budget. As my husband was working in Beijing, China by the time I was preparing the wedding, Andrea was the most helpful one to me. My questions ranged from: what kind of linens should I use - to how do I select all of the vendors - to do we need a theme - to how should I arrange the seating - to where do I put the fabulous candy bar (the only request from my daughter). Basically, where do I get started! Shari really took the time to answer all of my questions with professionalism and care.
