    Chaos Dog
    Aliya S.

Pretty good for a fast food place. The chaos dog and chaos fries were really tasty! The pickled jalapeños and onions were a nice sweet addition to balance out the savory flavors of the hot dog and fries. The fries had a nice taste and crunchy texture to them since they're really thin. I downloaded the app to get the promotional free burger too! It was good, but the patties didn't have as much seasoning as I expected. Overall it's a nice clean and chill place to go for a quick bite after a game or event downtown in Detroit!

Absolutely delicious smash burgers, and yummy beef tallow ultra thin french fries! Service with a smile , what more can you really ask for? Oh, and the pricing was very affordable. I will definitely go back. I got the double cheeseburger, french fries and a Pepsi and it did not disappoint.

Chaos Burger arrives on the streets of Detroit with a BURGER BANG!!! Being a new fast food restaurant in a world full of grab & go stops can be super challenging even for the well known and franchised establishments. What makes Chaos Burger stand out from the rest? I would have to say it's the simplicity of the menu from Burgers, Fries and Hotdogs! Yep, that's it...keep it simple and SMASH that Burger!!!! We decided to give this place a try because it's birthday month and why not make it a burger birthday week! How fun is that...hopping around the city trying a new burger each day for a week! Chaos Burger is centrally located, offers a quick order and go kiosk, or dine in option. We decided to try the Deluxe Burger because jalapeños can pack a little too much heat for my palate! The burger sauces were very tasty and the overall quality and taste of the burger was delicious! If you're hungry, I would recommend a double patty because the single is rather small due to the smash. We also really enjoyed the French fries! They were thin cut and perfectly fried! I hope to come back and try the hotdog, too! If you're in the area, this is a great spot to grab a bite!

It was purely by serendipitous chance that I came across Chaos burger. Appropriately, I got the Chaos burger and wow! It was incredible. Paired with the shoestring fries it was absolutely chef's kiss. The flavor of the sauce, the heat of the jalapeños, the makeup of the beef. Top to bottom an excellent burger. The staff were friendly, too, and the ordering was simple and hassle free at the kiosks. Definitely recommend.

I ordered a chicken bacon burger and fries! By far one of the best burgers I've had in a while. The service was not as fast as I would have liked but they were slammed with a large order. The staff was amazing at getting orders out as quickly as possible. The restaurant was clean and cashier free! You place your order in the tablet and wait for your name to be called.

I ordered the deluxe burger for $10. It started off pretty good, but the more I ate, the more the flavor changed and not in a great way. It had a strange aftertaste that really threw me off. Overall, it was okay

The meat in the burgers is soo good, but the fries are by far the stars, they are so crispy and salty!! It's a good little place to go sit down before a show downtown, good places to sit and a good menu!

It was one of the best burgers we got the deluxe and the bacon and it was loaded crispy edges and one of the best The french fries were really good nothing beats fries fried and tello and we have to give a huge shout out to Reggie probably one of the best people and incredible service that we've ever had to work with when ordering a burger we'll be back!

Tradition to get burgers before or after a ballgame. The wagyu smash burgers, fries, and chaos sauce are delicious. Underrated!

New tradition before or after ballgames. We smashed these burgers and fries! My son had two doubles!

Depending on what kind of day or night it is though. But just be aware you have to pay for parking. Seasoned fries - the fries come very seasoned and super crispy. You get a ton of them as well. You may not even need ketchup actually. French onion - this burger was good. Came with some onion rings kinda on the side. It was cooked medium and they got it pretty right with the temp. The cheese was melted well and it was seasoned pretty good also. Blt - this was a good BLT and it was very stacked. I'm not sure if you can make it out from the picture but it had plenty of everything on here. The bacon tasted great. Tots - they came out really hot and super crispy and actually gave you a heck of a lot of them too so that definitely helped but these are really good and you didn't even need ketchup.

We went with a basic (honestly anything but) burger with bacon, sweet chili mayo and shoestring fries on top. It was one of the best things I ate all weekend. We also tried their mini churros which may be the cities best cheap it. $1 per mini churro which honestly aren't even that mini is a screaming deal that everyone should know about. It's obviously just like the Ann Arbor location but substantially less busy (thank goodness.) I walked in and it's a smaller version of what I'm used to. Menu is up on the wall and the two gentleman at the counter were friendly and helped me place my order. I went with a burger with muenster cheese with an egg on top along with their coleslaw instead of fries. The coleslaw was actually really good! (not all coleslaws created equal. Let me tell you about it!) My food did take a while to come out but it was quite delicious. I forgot they have water jugs at the table and I could've gone without the sprite, but it was a throwback bottle in the glass bottles and I couldn't resist. I know they have the benches to encourage community and getting to know other people outside of your party, but sitting there makes my butt and back sore after a while. Place is clean and well organized which I loved, and it's in the district so you're a stones throw from the ballpark. Overall a fabulous experience and worth stopping by on a very hot July afternoon.

Wow... what a BEAUTIFUL restaurant. At first glance, as I…read morearrived at valet, I was genuinely proud to see this Black-owned brick-and-mortar in person for the first time. Unfortunately, I did not anticipate that it would also be the last. The valet attendant was attentive and professional, and the host staff greeted me as I walked in. So far, so good! The bar wasn't busy, but I figured it was still kind of early and things could liven up. I was meeting friends for a birthday toast, and they were already seated at the bar. When I approached, we were very excited to see one another, so naturally, we took a moment to catch up. I noticed there was one bartender in the service well who was busy making drinks and therefore understandably unable to greet me. There was another bartender conversing with patrons standing next to my barstool and another bartender on the far end. Now, as someone with a background in food & beverage, I naturally exercise patience in casual dining atmospheres because service can be a little laxed--which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I'm not expecting the bartender to teleport across the room because I walked in. However, in this case, after greeting my friends, we wanted to do a round of shots in honor of the birthday girl. After several minutes, we still had not been approached by a bartender. Not to mention, the bartender conversing just to my right was STILL carrying on with the same gentlemen patrons. After a continued wait, the birthday girl decided to flag down the bartender, who acknowledged us with eye contact... ...and then continued her conversation. Ma'am. That was very unprofessional, but we were in such great spirits that we decided to overlook it and try to get the attention of a different bartender. Now, hindsight being 20/20, we should've left right then. This same bartender, standing not even 3 feet away from us, eventually finished her conversation and walked away. She actually ended up standing at the service well in plain sight of us, where she then pulled out her cellphone to devote some obviously much-needed quality screen time. We were in utter shock. Within a few moments, the bartender originally on the far end of the bar had made her way to our side to take a new set of patrons' order who had just appeared to my right. Once again, the birthday girl calls out and asks if it would be possible for her to assist us when she was done. To our dismay, the lady looks at us with absolutely ZERO emotion and simply states, "Yea." Not exactly the response we expected, but hey... it's Detroit. We are natives, although I no longer live locally, so we know customer service isn't necessarily the city's strongest suit. ‍ After Ms. Dead Emotions prepared drinks for the new set of patrons, she followed suit with the previous bartender and walked over to the service well for some R&R with Screen Time Girl. And THAT was the moment we realized these bartenders did not come to work... They came to clock in. At this point, I decided to ask for a manager. The nice woman I approached asked me what it was regarding, and I explained what we had experienced and told her it was disappointing, to say the least. She seemed rational and understanding and offered to send a waitress to the bar to serve us. I thanked her and went back to my seat. It was obvious that the bartenders had been made aware of my grievances because their demeanors and facial expressions suddenly had a LOT to say. At that point, we realized training, support, and customer service may be an unrecognized area of opportunity by upper management. The server was busy with tables but eventually made her way over. She seemed very nice. However, by that point, we had decided we would leave. As we sat there conversing about this unbelievable experience and discussing other bars we could go to instead, a few patrons walked up to our side of the bar to introduce themselves and ask about our plans and whether we would stick around to have a drink with them. When we informed them we were leaving, they asked why. We gave them the short version as we prepared to leave. Sadly, they weren't surprised--but they offered AGAIN to make it right. Imagine customers offering to make it right. ‍ Just before leaving, one of our group stepped away to the restroom. At that point, Screen Time finally walked up and, exasperatedly, asked if we wanted anything. IKYFL. The birthday girl, who is sweet-natured, was understandably disappointed, so I decided, you know what? We'll take a shot for the road. A simple Don Julio Repo shot took longer than it should have... ...but the bill came IMMEDIATELY. And, of course, an automatic 20% gratuity was the cherry on top. At this point, all I could do was laugh. Beautiful restaurant. Great first impression. Unfortunately, the actual experience was a completely different story. WE WILL NOT BE BACK.
