BBB was average fare. We stopped by for dinner before a run of The Lion King around the corner, and we were stuck at a table in the far back of the restaurant. I like the order-taking system with the dry-erase pens and being able to pick out specific items for the burgers...but the burgers were pretty plain, no matter what the toppings were, because the beef was only so-so. (The fries, meanwhile, were pretty solid.) Also, I had to send a milkshake back because it was basically a glass of chocolate milk; the second version was a little thicker, but the flavor was not overpowering. If you are in desperate need of a burger, BBB might do the trick. From a quality perspective, I'm sure you can do better! read more

I called and asked if they had soup. He said they have Chili Soup. It was Christmas Eve. I also asked what time they closed. I was told 5pm. At least he got that right. When I got there the server didn't know what I was talking about! He offered a small side cup for 80 cents. I had them fill up my soup thermos. Finally, I was told it was a 'new item'. THEN I asked for crackers. No crackers because it was a 'new item.' I told them they should be shot! $7.95 for chili with no crackers!! Yes, I said it. Very poor. Who eats chili with no crackers!! I don't use profanity but if I did.....well you get the idea. Not a good first impression at all! If I could give a negative number I would. When we first walked it it took awhile for someone to notice us and seat us. However, the staff was friendly and professional. The place itself is welcome and nice to sit and enjoy with who ever you are there with. It doesn't have its own parking lot atleast from what I noticed. There was parking right next to the building that was $6. We pretty much all ordered the same thing. They give you a menu and a dry erase marker and you can build your burger or salad. We ordered a double smash burger with American cheese and tots. It was good, however I do like mine cooked medium and it was more like on the well cooked side. I definitely recommend eating here if you're ever in Detroit. read more

Looking for some bites and beer upon arriving in Detroit, we found this place a block from our hotel. How convenient! We were seated at the bar and had fantastic service by Aubrey. We weren't expecting much from bar food but were pleasantly surprised with the Chicken Caesar Salad. It was huge and fresh and tasty. The beer battered fries were also delicious and cheap ($4). We took 2 seats at the bar before a Tigers game this past weekend. Amanda took care of us and she was great! Very helpful and attentive. The restaurant seemed clean and the bathrooms were as well. I ordered the BYO Wagyu Burger with sunny egg, crumbled blue cheese, blue cheese dressing, red onion, spring mix, pickled jalapeño, side of Frank's. I was disappointed they didn't have fresh jalapeño, but that's a personal preference. Burger came with iceberg lettuce, not spring mix. Not a big deal. It was good and cooked to order (medium rare). My Husband ordered the BYO Double Smash Burger and fries. He added pepper-jack cheese, chili, and queso to his burger. It looked really good and he said he enjoyed it. we went there for lunch before the tigers games. we arrived at about 1120am the game started at 110pm. we did not get are food until 1245pm. I did think that it took awhile but it was on a day the tigers played but the place did not even look that busby. I over heard several people say they have been waiting a hour plus. the manager and waitress were nice and say them give several people discount. then to top ot all off the burger was pretty raw we had and 4 people 120$ it was disappointing. Place was super busy when we showed up said it would be a 50 minute wait, was seated about 25 minutes after so not too bad. Food was absolutely delicious. Tator tots were amazing . We were greeted at sat promptly. Our server came over a few minutes after we were seated. She told us about the standard menu and then about the custom Burger menu. We both opted for the custom burgers and split a full side of the Sweet Potato Fries. The dip served with the fries was a cinnamon butter sauce - it was soooo good! The burgers were cooked perfectly - the brioche buns were nicely toasted - so much flavor with these burgers. It was pretty loud inside. This was to be expected as it's the Saturday before St. Patrick's Day. The lighting was nice in the dining area. The restrooms were clean, but they were out of soap. We went here on Detroits 313 day 2024. It was a party of 3, Wednesday a lil after 7pm. A guy greeted us at the door after we stood at the sign that said wait to be seated. He was nice but he honestly didn't look like ger worked there. He sat us at a bar table but my partner asked to be away from the door. So we moved and eventually the guy brought us menus & then a round of waters. This was our first time here by the way. Something white was in my water and i was pissed because I noticed it after i had already took a sip! The plastic cups were old, chipped and not so clear. I had this Detroit Card for the longest time so I decided to finally put it to use. I saw some really great reviews and stopped by this restaurant. We were seated right away and the waitress came over to ask what drinks we wanted. We decided to order the pretzels. My husband got the cheese and I got the cinnamon sugar. The pretzels were so hot and fresh. They tasted amazing. They paired really well with the sugar. My husband really liked the cheese though. I would come back again just because of this delicious prtezels. We both built our own burger and got a side of fries. I got chili and cheese on my fries. I was so full from the pretzels and burgers that I could hardly finish the fries. They were super crispy and they loaded them with chilli cheese. The burger was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. We started with Chicken Quesadillas that were well made and so good that I had to have another order to go! I also enjoyed a Black Bean Burger. For the burgers and other food items, you order it the way you like it by marking desired options on the wipe-away menu with a black marker. I ordered mine on a bun and added cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and banana peppers with the red pepper mayo and it was divinely delicious. My side was sweet potato fries that were served with cinnamon butter - oooooweee, I shouldn't have, but I did! Service was great in fact, for all of the tables that were occupied.
