The dogs and pizzas are good, and the cotton candy can't be missed. Popcorn is okay. The staff are usually nice, but the ushers can sometimes be a 50/50 shot between super sweet and a grump. Lots of good memories here, and hoping for more soon.

The Windy City Bulls wore Philippine themed jerseys which was pretty cool. Throughout the night they celebrated or talked about the Philippines and the history. They opened with the Philippine National Anthem followed by the United States National Anthem. For the first 2,000 fans, they gave away a toy Jeepney and if you wanted a special hat, you had to purchase it with the admission ticket. The game was entertaining and the Bulls won! What I really loved about it was it was very kid friendly and all the kids loved it. The were really involved and were into the game! The big screen and score was not over the court like most arenas, but it was off to the side. The benefit of that was the screen was bigger than the normal over the court screen. Overall, I really liked the arena, the game and the way they made it kid focused. What a great way to get the younger kids to love Bulls basketball. Parking was free and it took sometime to get out but once you got past the main lot entry, it was smooth sailing (unless you were trying to get to the 90 Interstate. I would go to another game for sure! I highly recommend going if you have little ones that loves basketball.

Every year, we choose a random venue and city to attend, and for our first time in years of this tradition, we decided to check out the United Center and Chicago. We went on a Friday to see two Sweet 16 basketball games (Michigan vs. Alabama and Iowa State vs. Tennessee) and then returned again on a Sunday to see the Elite 8 basketball game (Michigan vs. Tennessee) with the winner heading to Indiana for the Final Four. The games were electric, the United Center was a welcoming site, and it was easy to travel to and from (in general). We thought it was strange upon our arrival that the bag policy didn't allow clear bags that were a tad too big but it did allow unclear bags if small enough. We wish the American Express Lounge was open during our visit but I guess that is only during regular sporting events. The Uber Zone was also a bit complicated to figure out, but we eventually did. All in all, the entertainment in the concourses including great photo opportunities, the many food locations, and great merchandise locations. The United Center is an indoor arena on the Near West Side of Chicago and is home to the Bulls (NBA) and Blackhawks (NHL). Clearly, United Airlines is the corporate sponsor. It holds 23,500 people. There are 27 unique concessions restaurants located in the United Center including barbecue, chicken, pizza, Mexican, and other options. There are specific locations available for gluten-free and vegetarian food options, too. Some of the highlighted restaurants include Rocky's Bar, Queenie's Supper Club, FanDuel Lounge, Pepsi Grab N Go (and The Dashery & 4-Star Markets), and member's only dining like Chicago Stadium Club on the Lexus Club Level and Ketel One Club. For a special event, this location was great for the NCAA basketball tournament! I would certainly consider coming back to the United Center again in the future.

We came out for the Fourth of July game which had a special promotion for patriotic hats and a "fireworks supershow" after the game finished. We won four tickets off of a local st baldricks night but they normally range from $12 for lawn, $16 for seats, and $65 for all you can eat and drink tickets. We got tickets the week of and sat third row along the first baseline. The park was crowded but not unreasonable. The food and drink offers were great! Most concessions had domestic beer, cutwaters, soft drinks, and ballpark food. The center concession stand also had walking tacos and mexican food. There were specialty carts with items like popcorn, local craft beers, etc. Lastly, they had specialty vendor stands for Ben's soft pretzels, the Creamery for ice cream, and a cupcake stand. The outfield had a kid's zone with blow up obstacles, they had a live singer for the national anthem/seventh inning stretch, midgame race, and after the game kids could run the bases/get autographs. We loved the fireworks show that was included. Parking was free and easy to get in and out and I never waiting in line for the woman's bathroom! We will certainly be back for a game and highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun, local event.

We have paid for suites before for birthdays and other events. I will never pay for a suite again nor recommend anyone do so after our experience. Our server was great however upon the end of the game my pregnant wife went to use the bathroom then my ten year old son followed to try and use the men's room. A security guard by the name of John Zelack (not sure if that is spelled correctly) yelled at my son and told him to use the bathroom all the way downstairs unattended then went into the women's bathroom where my pregnant wife was using the toilet and proceeded to yell at her to get out, which was very stressful and traumatizing to her. He then came into our suite where we were cleaning and packing up to leave CLEARLY!!! He yelled at everyone one to get out and we answered him "we are working on it" as we were putting our things in bags, the younger children were very frightened of this security guard! Then as we are moving toward the door my 14 year old daughter was sitting down waiting for everyone to move through the door so she could also maneuver out and John Zelack proceeded to yell at her so loudly the smaller children flinched. My daughter is so traumatized by this she never wants to go back to Wintrust. Our family are season ticket holders, we go to almost every home game for years, we all have great connections in the community and will now stand to boycott this stadium after this terrible and traumatizing experience. I may have to get legal representation if something is not done to make this right. Absolutely horrific experience!!!!

(Example $12 for a footlong corn dog. $15 for a ten inch Italian sausage. $8 for beers) As I said earlier, lots of walking. We parked on one side of the track and our seats were on the other side; meaning a long walk all the way around the track. One nice thing is you can walk all thru the pits and meet drivers and crew. Take pictures, etc. Oh, one more gripe was I could not reach anyone at the track via phone or email to ask questions. An 800 number directed me e to be a NASCAR ticket service. They gave me another 800 number which referred me back to the other number. My email I sent was never answered. All in all, not a completely bad experience, but it could be much better. My kids were pretty hungry after running around for an hour, but I could have prepared better if I knew it was going to be 1:30 before lunch would be served. All in all, seems like a fun place for a birthday party for kids, especially if you have a wider range of age ranges coming. It also seems accommodating for a larger group of people.
