Overall, it was a fantastic first experience! A huge tip for anyone going to a weekend game: pre-pay for your parking. It completely sold out, so we were incredibly glad we bought ours in advance. We parked in Lot C, and it was a surprisingly short, easy walk straight to the stadium. As someone looking for gluten-free (GF) options, I really appreciated that they have a QR code you can scan for a list of concessions to see exactly what can be made GF. The only downside is that while they do offer gluten-free fries, they are only available up in the 300 section. We were seated in the 100 section, but we still had great options. We were able to get a GF hot dog and a GF pizza. The pizza is a personal-sized whole pizza that takes about 5-7 minutes to bake. I loved that they actively try to avoid cross-contamination by placing the pizza on foil. If you just need a quick snack, they also have a convenient grab-and-go section with drinks, chips, and peanuts (which are explicitly listed as GF). It was a wonderful first visit, and we will definitely be back for another game!

The venue is easy to navigate and has plenty of parking at a cheaper rate than most stadiums. I took my guy to his first major league hockey game and we had a blast! It was very memorable and such a perfect way to end his first day in Chicago. I also couldn't believe my luck at finding an amazing Blackhawks leather jacket that was on sale!! Seriously couldn't believe my luck! Drinks and food are on par with other stadiums as far as price, quality, and options go. One of the cleaner stadiums I've been to as well.

Every year, we choose a random venue and city to attend, and for our first time in years of this tradition, we decided to check out the United Center and Chicago. We went on a Friday to see two Sweet 16 basketball games (Michigan vs. Alabama and Iowa State vs. Tennessee) and then returned again on a Sunday to see the Elite 8 basketball game (Michigan vs. Tennessee) with the winner heading to Indiana for the Final Four. The games were electric, the United Center was a welcoming site, and it was easy to travel to and from (in general). We thought it was strange upon our arrival that the bag policy didn't allow clear bags that were a tad too big but it did allow unclear bags if small enough. We wish the American Express Lounge was open during our visit but I guess that is only during regular sporting events. The Uber Zone was also a bit complicated to figure out, but we eventually did. All in all, the entertainment in the concourses including great photo opportunities, the many food locations, and great merchandise locations. The United Center is an indoor arena on the Near West Side of Chicago and is home to the Bulls (NBA) and Blackhawks (NHL). Clearly, United Airlines is the corporate sponsor. It holds 23,500 people. There are 27 unique concessions restaurants located in the United Center including barbecue, chicken, pizza, Mexican, and other options. There are specific locations available for gluten-free and vegetarian food options, too. Some of the highlighted restaurants include Rocky's Bar, Queenie's Supper Club, FanDuel Lounge, Pepsi Grab N Go (and The Dashery & 4-Star Markets), and member's only dining like Chicago Stadium Club on the Lexus Club Level and Ketel One Club. For a special event, this location was great for the NCAA basketball tournament! I would certainly consider coming back to the United Center again in the future.

Drink prices here are through the roof (which is to be expected but still kinda annoying). I paid $36 for 2 cans of modelos. Most sections had no security so there were many people who kept seat hoping. It was mainly an issue for people who had front row seats since people would sneak into your spot if you left to use the restroom, to the bar, etc.. they'd move out of your spot once you returned but it's still annoying to have to repetitively do that if you need to leave for a short period of time. Overall it's not a bad arena.

But you was warning about my small purse In the first instance, I had intended to attend the Mike Epps show, but my friend's purse was excessively large. Secondly, the air was heavily scented with marijuana and cigarettes. Consequently, I approached Usher, assuming that smoking was permitted within the venue. However, I was informed that this was not the case and that the establishment had no authority to address the issue. Despite your previous warning regarding my small purse, I was not given any assistance. I give 1 star just to post

The other night I brought my son to just his second Bulls game. We were here a few years ago, which is an eternity in terms of the talent on the court. Gone are the days of miserable Pax/Gar teams (thank God) and replaced by awesome stars like Demar Derozan and Zach LaVine. Aside from the new found talent, I have to say that the entertainment factor here was amazing. As in, leaps and bounds better than any other sporting event we go to (and we go see a lot of games in different sports). The pregame intro is classic, the tv and called timeout skits were terrific and hysterical, and the halftime show was a collaboration of gymnasts and performers that put on one hell of a show. Honestly, I felt like I got my money's worth on non-game entertainment alone (despite not catching a parachuting t-shirt from the rafters)..lol. In addition to the game, I highly recommend getting here early to take in everything the building has to offer. The arena is stocked with Bulls and Hawks championship pennants hanging from the banners. One of their concourses is now home to the once outdoor MJ bronze statue, and we also found the case with Bulls 90's championship trophies. Those brought back fond memories. An exciting team that wins adds a lot of value, I'm not going to lie. But the non-game entertainment factor is phenomenal. Even if you aren't an NBA or Bulls fan, I'd still highly recommend stopping in sometime. GO BULLS!

This is a great addition to my alma mater. I lived in the dorms right east of this stadium (or…read morewhat used to just be baseball and soccer fields) so I'm happy to see this addition to the neighborhood. Obviously, it's not as big as a professional stadium, but it has all the comforts that you'd expect in a real baseball stadium as opposed to a high school baseball diamond (which is basically where UIC used to play). Tickets are $10 for seats or $7 for the grassy area. The grassy area may allow picnic items, but call in advance to be sure. The night we went was pretty cold and no one was sitting in the picnic/grass area because the seats were so cheap. All kids under 12 are free all the time which is awesome. College-level baseball is pretty much like professional to kids so they can come to all the games for free and enjoy themselves if they like baseball. There's supposedly three food stands in the stadium, but only one was open the night we went to a game in early May and it was PACKED so be prepared for a wait. They only sell food basics (hot dogs, nachos, peanuts, pop) and there's no alcohol in case you care. Seating is all over the place so ask if there's seats right behind home plate. If you ask I'm sure they'll seat you in the nice ones. They do NOT take credit cards, so bring cash with you if you need it (we learned this the hard way and had to go to the nearest ATM, which is in the 7-11 on Halsted - about an 8 minute walk one way).

(Kari's Rating 9.5/10)…read more TLDR: -Great variety of food -Can have long lines -Reasonably Priced Decided to come for the Hello Kitty plushy with a group of friends. Because we had 26 people, the stadium had us pickup our plushies early! We got there and everyone split to get their own food. I went with a friend to the first 100 levels for Lucky's Korean Corn Dogs. He got the Tonkatsu. It was crispy, very juice and well breaded. It didn't taste a ton like tonkatsu, but it was decently filling for the price. Although I didn't order much more food, and I'm not a drinker, I held off the larger exploration of food because the Sox were up 3 in the fourth or fifth inning. I personally like Sox stadium more than Wrigley, mostly because the variety of food, as well as the lack of bleachers, which can arguably be fun, most of the time I don't really wanna deal with drunk fans haha!
