Experience: I had never been to this location but I needed to drop off some donations. This location is a lot smaller than some of the other locations I have been too, but I will say they seem to be the most organized. I was able to get in and out, however the only thing I didn't like about this location is that since they are so small they can't take large donations. I tried to leave a storage bin and they almost didn't accept it because they didn't have anywhere to put it. I also wish they had a backdoor entrance for donations like other Goodwill locations.

One of the volunteers will meet with you to unlock the gate and show you around. Volunteered w/ my coworker to help Helping Hands Pantry, specifically the gardening area. Their broccoli was ready to be harvested! One of the volunteer POCs, Paul, was kind enough to meet with me to explain the whole process. I've never harvested broccoli so this was a cool experience. All tools (knives, gloves, crates) are provided. My coworker, her daughter and I harvested 12 full crates of organic broccoli. To anyone reading this...please go to their website and sign up for a volunteer spot. This would be perfect for a school or work team building event. I challenge you to help out your local community! :) I will leave you with this... self-love is like gardening. Take time to plant yourself in sunlight and speak kind words to yourself.
