Where do children go to high school when they graduate from vps?

Hi Tricia, Most of our students usually attend the local public high schools, Redlands High School and Redlands East Valley, but a handful also attend some of the area private schools and boarding schools as well.

Their educational program has prepared my oldest for kindergarten with age-appropriate worksheets, and it's clear that they are genuinely invested in fostering growth and development in every child they care for. They have an excellent outdoor play area, structured daily activities, and even a couple of annual field trips that make this daycare special. My son comes home talking about all his friends and daily activities. They also provide all snacks and meals for kids over the age of two, which is super helpful for busy working parents. As full-time healthcare workers with unpredictable schedules, finding care with a clear, consistent schedule and flexibility has been incredibly important to us. Kids Land Academy has been wonderful in accommodating our needs. Their minimal closures and understanding of our varying hours make it so much easier to balance work and family life. They have been very willing to work with us when adjustments are needed. A special mention goes to Mr. Naresh, who is possibly the calmest, most patient, and caring individual I've ever met. He has an incredible way with children, and I always feel at ease knowing that my kids are in his capable hands. His calm demeanor and nurturing nature create a safe and welcoming environment for the kids. I highly recommend Kids Land Academy to any parent looking for a caring, educational, and fun place for their little ones. It's truly been an exceptional experience for our family!

When you consider how important these first years are to the emotional and educational development of your precious child, this decision is one of the most important ones you can make as a parent, and it requires a lot of trust. My wife and I faced this dilemma many years ago when we stumbled onto Lalita and the business she had just started, KidsLand Academy. Our son Jude was the first baby to enroll in what would become a thriving childcare built on the passions and talents of a woman who would become a Godsend to us and our child. Lalita gave our son many years of genuine love and care that no amount of money can guarantee. We were blessed to find her, and she and her family will always be close to our hearts, as they were willing to be the family we didn't have to watch our young Jude during those critical years while our family was just starting out. If you are reading this review, you are fortunate to have found her too. Jude is now 13 years old. He is a kind hearted, responsible, and respectful young man who has always been near the top of his class academically. He had a great start. Thank you, Lalita.

We are so incredibly grateful for the care provided to our son and daughter. At all times we knew they were in an environment that was safe and surrounded by people who truly cared for them. Our children grew into such wonderful little people under their watch. Not only did they learn from an academic standpoint but they continued to grow socially and emotionally. Our children entered into public school well above their peers in regards to subjects like math and reading but, more importantly, they were more mature, knew how to be kind friends, and were ready to learn. Safety was our first concern. Ahren's access control is on point. Normally Mr John is in his office and monitors access if not there is a teacher on duty. You have to walk through the front door to access the care center. Education was our second concern. Every child in day care is taught to prepare for kindergarten. It seems like our child moving from kindergarten is ready for 2nd grade. Communication and kindness. Ahren's staff are very communication heavy. They made going through Covid easy and painless. They call and email information as well as group and one on one face to face. Ahren's is not your typical day care or education institution, it's a family, you feel like family. I highly recommend Ahren's to parents wanting their child to have that edge for the future.

As a mother, sending her child to school for the first time, it was important that my son ended up in an environment that was welcoming, safe and nourished the whole child. Montessori Kids Land Academy checked all our boxes and exceeded our expectations. Mrs. Lalita and the teachers embody care and professionalism and show attentiveness to every child and family. They helped my son grow academically, emotionally and socially. They promoted and nourished his love and curiosity for animals and science and personalized his experiences. Parents are also treated with the utmost importance. Communication to and from the school is A+. I never had to wonder or question what was going on with my child because the schools system keeps parents updated with their children's daily activities and any occurrences. Communication is open and welcomed at all times. This was huge for me and I truly appreciate the empathy they showed me, as a mother. Mrs. Lalita, Ms. Sarah, Ms. Juli, Ms. Bena and Ms. Rosana have impacted my sons schooling experience with such positivity and planted beautiful seeds in my child that gave him an understanding that school is safe, school is fun, school is where you grow by learning and making new friends and are surrounded by caring teachers. The Director was nothing more then professional and welcoming. She allowed our child to play in the playground while she sat with us and talked. I could tell that just as we were interviewing her, she was also evaluating and observing our child and us as parents. This detail to attention and how well kept the facilities were is what lead us to enrolling our daughter. Each classroom has an accredited teacher and an aide (or TA) so we knew that the classrooms had a small student to teacher ratio, great when you have high expectations that the school will be teaching as opposed to just providing playtime for your child. Our teacher and aide knew our child very well, and could explain our child's academic progress and personal growth whenever we dropped by with concerns or just plain curiosity. As previously mentioned, the facilities are well kept and the classroom sizes are small. They respect child allergies and encourage parent participation. I never felt like FLCC was pushing their religious beliefs on the children, but was appreciative of the fact that they invited or included us in their many weekend and after school activities. If you are looking for a Children's Center that will give your child an academic edge, especially if your path is private education, then this is the place for you in Redlands. Their tuition prices are comparable to other centers in the area, but what makes FLCC stand out is the staff's warm, caring and attentive desire to see each child succeed.

As a Christian, I do not write this easily of anyone who seems to be doing God's work. But, the church's leaders have been planning for over a year to close the school but did not inform the staff, parents or congregation. Two weeks before they decided to close, when they had done all their planning, they decided to tell everyone. They made up a story that it was due to Covid and then later admitted it was a long time in the planning. The loyal staff were not given adequate time to prepare their families for this loss of income. The loyal parents were not even given an audience. When staff and parents asked to speak with leadership they were denied. No true Christian would do this, much less without even offering an audience to the offended parties. Don't go to this church, don't send your kids to this school. This church is posing as Christian but is actually run by the Lost and do not seek to live their lives and run their church and businesses the pure Christian way.

Overall, there was a lack of passion for teaching and love for the children. The location was more of a daycare where they keep your child alive than teach them love. Teachers did not play with children. You could just see that they didn't love their jobs. I witnessed a few book reading times and singing times where teachers sung with dead eyes and flat voices conveying that they were just going through motions. I feel like a bad parent for subjecting my child to this place. I caution any parent considering this school to visit and pay really close attention to all interactions between the teachers, the leadership and the children. Don't just base your decision on your discussion with them. If, when you see the above dynamic show itself, move along to any one of the other great preschools in Redlands. IMPORTANT NOTE: Most of other reviews are old and were posted in a close timeline indicating that possibly at one point they had a campaign to get reviews which speaks to the lack of credibility of those reviews.

As a first-time homeschool family, I had so many questions, and the one-on-one guidance we received helped us learn the apps, understand the systems, and get both of my boys comfortably settled in. The teachers my sons had in 4th and 5th grade have been absolutely wonderful. They have been supportive, encouraging, and truly made a difference in our experience. I have also been very impressed with the IEP support. The team reached out early, guided us through the process, and has been incredibly helpful throughout. We felt supported from the beginning. One of my favorite things is the transparency and technology. Parents have real-time access to student calendars, assignments, grades, and progress, which makes it so easy to stay involved and support our children.
