My dentist of twenty years recently retired, and unfortunately, his replacement didn't have the same welcoming attitude. After watching so many great videos and reading positive comments, I decided to give Hudson Dental Co a try. I do not have dental insurance, but Dr. K offers a membership program that helps patients save money -- which I really appreciated. When I walked into the office, I was immediately impressed. It's a state-of-the-art, modern, and beautifully designed dental practice. I was greeted warmly by Dr. Kallianpur (Dr. K) and his staff, who made me feel right at home. The visit started with X-rays taken by the hygienist, followed by a cancer screening performed by Dr. K himself. He then personally cleaned my teeth, as he likes to do all first-time cleanings for new patients. Afterward, he displayed my X-rays on the TV screen and went over each image, explaining in detail what he was looking for and the overall condition of my teeth. Kudos to Hudson Dental Co for providing such a comfortable and professional experience. Like everybody else on the planet, I hate dentists (that also includes endodontists). Most dentists…read morethat is. Dr. Sarina Reddy is different. She's a real person--with a real personality. When she enters the room, you instantly feel comfortable. She explains everything. She goes through the entire procedure. She tells you when you may feel pain (I felt nothing). As the appointment proceeds, she explains what is coming next. She is gentle, kind and wonderful. (Hard to believe she's a dentist--not the tooth fairy.) While this may sound like a contradiction, she both takes her time--and is extremely efficient. The only down side is finding her office--after you enter the building. It's on the second floor, BEHIND the steps. If Dr. Reddy wasn't an endodontist, I would actually look forward to seeing her. If you ever need an endodontist, go see Dr. Reddy. You'll be glad you did.
