Be careful with this dental office. When you call they tell you these things: We accept your insurance, but we'll take X-rays just in case" to see what you need to get done. When they do that they are guaranteed to collect for those X-rays at least. Do they secure that payment. Whether you continue with other work or not, that payment is secured. Then bring in the dentist to tell you what you need to get done and how you can take out a credit card or set up a payment plan. We'll run the X-rays and see what your insurance covers" That often means they intend to bill out-of-network -- you could get a surprise bill. Then they say No charge for X-rays today" That sounds nice but sometimes means they bill you later or file out-of-network. In the end they tell you to go home and think about it then schedule an appointment, and of course you get so upset you don't return, and that's the sad part, they mislead you to go in to their office, take an X-ray and charge you for it, then break down a bill to you that they very well knew they weren't going to use insurance to cover. read more

Dr. Kaveeta Channamsetty is one of the worst dentists ever. She has poor communication with her patients. She will do a filling in a space without explaining things in detail to you. I had mouth deviation after her anesthesia and i was not aware till i returned home ( which is temporary thing but she has to let me know at least). I have been going to Pearl Dental for the past several years and I have to say they have been amazing. The doctors are professional and the establishment is of high quality and very clean. They take pride in their work and do things thoroughly. They also are very sure of dental work needed prior to doing any of it. They make you feel so comfortable and help you understand everything they suggest and what's in your treatment plan. The receptionist is very helpful when trying to make an appointment and works with you on finding the best date and time for your convenience. They also have a great appointment reminder text message service so you don't miss your appointment. Sharon is the best hygienist I have ever gone to. She is super friendly and immediately puts you at ease the second you sit in her chair. The care she takes during the cleanings is something I have never seen before. She knows what's she's doing and helps you understand the benefits in what she suggests you do with your at home care. Dr. Chaudhry is amazing as well. She listens to you when you have questions or concerns and while she is thorough in her examination and the work she is performing, she is super gentle. I never feel rushed when I am asking questions and she really takes her time in explaining things thoroughly. I am so happy I found an amazing dentist's office that takes pride in what they do. Pearl Dental is professional, clean, thorough and provides great service! My insurance didn't cover a lot but their pricing was very affordable. I got Invisalign around a year ago and I couldn't be happier. Each visit my teeth were examined and Dr.Chaudhry made sure my teeth were shifting properly. She made all the necessary adjustments to make sure my teeth continued to move correctly. Also, my teeth cleanings were performed semi-annually by the staff. I had a really pleasant experience here. 5 stars for quality. Dr. Chaudhry was really friendly. Sharon did my cleaning and she was so sweet, super gentle, but extremely thorough. Possibly my best cleaning! The only thing that rubbed me the wrong way was that I was offered a fluoride treatment that is not covered for an additional $40 which I agreed to. They put a cotton candy flavored fluoride tray in your mouth for less then 1 minute. When I left I checked online and for $35 you can purchase a whole bottle equivalent to multiple treatments. All in all I definitely would come back sans the fluoride treatment which I can purchase a bottle of and do myself. read more

I've been going to Pearl Dental for the past several years. All my family including my parents and my two uncles (and their kids) go here. I was bothered by the poor ratings given by the some of the commenters, and its clear they have no business writing reviews. So instead of hating on someone's well earned repute, I've decided to write a detailed review explaining why I like this place and why I'd highly recommend them. I've had several teeth capped and go here for yearly check ups for myself and my family. What I like about this practice is: 1. The doctors are very well trained and excellent at their work. Dr.Kaveeta used to teach at Harvard, and offered me a treatment plan which got me up and going in the least amount of time / cost. 2. They are very transparent with costs and the treatment plan. When I needed a capping, I was given the treatment plan options along with the costs. The costs were broken down, and all inclusive, including how much I'll be paying out of pocket. Now, some of you might like getting lured into a bait and switch costing plan with random bills sent to you at a later time, but this place is legit. I paid exactly what I was told I'd be charged, not a penny more. I really appreciated this aspect of the practice and it really helped me plan out my FSA / health care spending for that year. 3. The place is great for kids or family. They have late hours which helps make scheduling a breeze. read more

Definitely will rip you off. Told me my son had 6 cavities. Brought him to get them filled. Was told it would take an hour and a half. It took half an hour. I questioned them how it was possible to fill 6 cavities in half an hour. I paid but requested the X-rays which I then sent to my sister who is a dental hygentist. She and the dentist she works for said that a few were not even cavities and that it is not possible to fill 6 in had an hour. They did credit me but it is an insurance scam. read more

I scheduled my first appointment on recommendation after moving into the area a year ago, and have since received regular cleanings and veneers. I needed a new dentist after moving from NYC to Tarrytown. There were a lot of dentists closer to Tarrytown than Dr. Choudhry at Pearl Dental in Mt Kisco but I am glad I chose her. Her and her staff are professional, friendly, accommodating, and thorough. The office is very clean and easy to get to. She was also very thorough in explaining the results of my exam and what my options were. One time they forgot to give me my swag bag with the dental floss and new toothbrush and they called me when I got home to apologize. Making an appointment here was a pain just for starters. Trying to get an appointment as a new patient is near impossible. Then I got multiple phone calls from different people to confirm the appointment three or four times. It's like there is no communication between the staff. I filled out the online pre-registration like they requested and sent it in electronically and they still called me three days later to see if I did it. CHECK YOUR SYSTEM. Quit calling so much. This was all just to get in the door. After I finally got an appointment confirmed 80 times, it was judgement day. I went it and for new patients they start with x-rays. I have an unusually small mouth and you would think that they would be equipped for children and/or adults with smaller mouths, WRONG. So after having my mouth stretch out like a hooker on a Saturday night, they found a huge cavity in my mouth. This was no surprise to me because I hadn't been to a dentist in years. She told me all the other problems but seemed pretty focused on this cavity. It was bad and it needed to be taken out and I would need a cap for the tooth. So this office lady comes in with a price and it wasn't awful but it was big enough to talk to my wife about. When I mentioned calling my wife her mind was blown. Like she just expected me to say yes and keep it moving. Then after turning down their services for the cavity, I never saw the dentist again because clearly I wasn't worth her time/money anymore. The dental hygienist comes in to do the cleaning and starts trying to scare me about my tooth. Telling me horror stories about money and her own experiences. At the check out the rude office lady wants to talk to me and my wife to go over prices again, then she tells me I was approved for/ just had a deep cleaning when I hadn't. I asked if she could get the hygienist to confirm she hadn't done the deep cleaning and office lady scoots me out of the door. I didn't get aggressive at all just left because the woman from the office said she would talk to the hygienist and call me within 30 minutes... guess who never called.... read more

The worst customer service in the dental industry by both doctor Kaveeta and her office manager. The doctor is too rough with your mouth pulling and drilling and has no regard for your overall experience. She examines your mouth says you need filling replacements and offers no resolution for other teeth and then sends in her office manager to get you to agree to pay for the work, and once you agree, she then continues to work on your teeth all while you are sitting there with suction and other appliances sticking out of your mouth. The doctor and her office manager are unprofessional; moreover, the location is small and you spit in a cup with a vacuum on the end. If you need extended work on your teeth she sends you to another location or makes a mold of your teeth and says she needs another one after you already paid for the first one and then you pay again. The office is too small and over crowded and definetly needs an update but the doctor is lavished with diamond rings that she covers with gloves while working in your mouth. You know where your money is going, which is straight to her pocket. A DEFINITE PLACE YOU DON'T WANT TO BE!!! read more

I can't tell you what a relief it's been to find Dr. Hinna Chaudhry who is a terrific dentist and has a great sense of humor. She is nice, approachable and has a very warm personality. She really does cares about you as a patient and takes the time to make your experience as painless as possible. I also appreciated that she explained everything that was going on during the procedure and made sure that I felt completely comfortable during the appointment before she proceeded. Dr. Chaudhry took the time to show and explain things to me that none of my other dentists never really ever did. I trust her with my teeth and think that she has her patients' best interest in mind. Outstanding Professional Dental Service. Late last night I needed emergency treatment to repair a cracked tooth. I searched Yelp and Google and found Pearl Dental in Mt. Kisco. I called after hours and the answering service promised me that someone would call me first thing in the morning. First thing this morning the the office scheduler contacted me and was able to fit me in mid-day today. I arrived at the office and was greeted by several very friendly employees. The billing staff were professional and well organized as they obtained my insurance information. Shortly after providing me insurance information I was brought into the examining room and had x-rays. Shortly thereafter I met Dr. Hinna Chaudhry who conducted a through examination and discussed the treatment plan in a way that was easy to understand . Dr Chaudhry was able to temporarily fix my broken tooth and her staff scheduled me for a follow up visit. I truly believe that Dr. Chaudhry and her staff are really the "Gold Standard" when it comes to dental care and customer service. The staff really go out of their way for the patient to make them comfortable and have a great experience at the dentist. I was so impressed with the level of care I received being a first time patient that I booked a cleaning and I am referring other people to this office.
