It was quite filling, but it wasn't one of those burgers that makes you feel a little disgusting from eating all of the oil and fat from it. The fries were also quite good, but not as notable. An assortment of sauces will be served with the burgers that are fun to try with your meal. I got a berry kombucha that, while not homemade, is made by Tony's "good mate liam in byron bay." It was one of the better kombuchas I've had as well. The staff are extremely friendly and chatty. The joint is well decorated with musical paraphernalia and a comfy outside seating arrangement. Note 1: I highly recommend the burger order I got after our waitress excitedly told us it was her favorite. The #BORDY with bacon added on. Note 2: They will swap any of the burger patties with a plant based patty for a couple bucks, so vegetarians aren't out of luck. The vegetarians I ate with said it was still very good, but not at the same level as I was describing the burger I had. Note 3: They are dog friendly. I saw one dog there while I was eating and a few more when I had passed by earlier in the day.

If the place hadn't been super busy, I might have been annoyed but the place was very busy so it made sense. They have an easy numbering system. Your receipt has an order number, and they simply call it out when it's done. You have to stay fairly close to the counter after ordering. However, the place is so tiny inside that you can still hear the numbers from the door. I woke up that day feeling a bit hungover. I think the first words out of my mouth were "I need a hash brown, stat." Several hours later, when we went to Benbry, fate struck and I saw that they had a hangover burger! Amazing. It was actually a veggie option, with no burger. It had an egg, guacamole, aioli, cheese, BBQ sauce... and a hash brown! It was 100% fate. I had no idea if it would taste good, but obviously I needed it in my life that day. Thankfully, it did taste good. My guy got the classic Benbry and said it was good too. As a carb lover, I loved the bun especially as it was nice and large, and a good combo of fluffy and sturdy. My guy opted for the combo, and ordered a side of onion rings. We were not fans, and only ate half of them. They were fried well, and super crunchy. But they were very battery and oily, without really any onion flavor. I highly recommend this place for takeaway! There are only two small tables outside, one table inside right by the kitchen and about two or three bar stools near a ledge to eat by. We were only able to eat in by sharing the inside table with another pair. I would definitely come back though, especially when hungover. I would definitely try to come on a Tuesday/Thursday for their $12 combo deal.

It's got a big freshly fried hunk of spiced chicken and pickled ginger and coral lettuce and probably a few other things, by that point half of it was gone and I was doing that thing where you're enjoying your meal so much you're just catching people's eye and pointing at it and making strange moaning noises. We found this beer called Summer. And it was $25 Aussie for a bucket. Not bad. We hung out for about an hour. Then we decided to hit the water. So we decided to ask where we could get sunblock. And they brought over Carla. She was our savior. The sun is very hot here. We hit the water and came back after a little sun cooking. We stepped up our buckets. We stayed there until we left. Day 2 we did a lot of the same. We kept a ritual of just stopping by and having a bite and beers. The weekend is off the hook. Very busy. All day and all night. But they close at 12. Everyone and anyone is there. People celebrating the weekend to people out for bachelorette parties. Also birthday parties to small wedding reception. On Monday Feb. 12,2018 we were there just enjoying a bite and a couple beers. We weren't going to stay long. It wasn't too busy. Which was nice after the weekend. Then all of a sudden. All these well nicely dressed people started to show up. We new it was some type of party. But not for who or what. Girls/ Ladies dressed to impress. And impressed we were. Guys somewhat dresss nice also. Some better than others. And all of a sudden 3 guys in these bright loud jump suits. We were like huh? Then they decided to get on the microphone. Just being. Loud. It was my turn to get a pitcher of the passion fruit mojito. Which is really good. Don't judge. But when in Aussie. Drink like the Aussies. I asked one of the guys in the suits. What's up with suits. He said. Trying to get attention. They were going to have a fundraiser for Brain Cancer Awareness. I told him. He was doing a great thing. Not knowing that lot of the people there were celebrities. It's not like we watch Aussie tv everyday. Ok we did while on vacation. But still. How are we to spot tv actors and movie star actors. Then they sent out their ladies to sell raffle tickets. It was Bianca Zouppas. And another great looking actress. Sorry didn't get her name. But if you know who she is. Go ahead and let us know. Anyways. How could we say no to them. We weren't going to. It's a good cause. But they did get us to buy more tickets. We also got into the fun of the auction. I ended up winning a bat. For only $300. And after mingling with everyone. It was a great night. This place gave up their inside area for an event that raised some good money. This place has a staff that is not only great looking. But have the best attitude I've been to in years. Probably the best in all the world. Guys and girls. Both treated us with great respect and were always professionals. Staff was fun and always helpful. If you ever visit Bondi Beach. Stop by and try their Mojitos and their food. And the people watching is very good also. So Mates don't wait. Or you might have to stand in line in the sun.

I understand that the prawns are cooked in this sauce, but I didn't realize my entire meal would be covered in it. This completely ruined the fries, steak, salad, and side sausage that we ordered. It's as though they were trying to hide how flavorless and poorly cooked their steaks are by drenching them in spoiled milk. In addition to how revolting our meal tasted, the customer service was even worse. We let the waitress know that we were not expecting our meal to come out as it did and that there was a dairy allergy at the table - she gaslit us into thinking she warned us about the spoiled milk sauce that would drown every other item on the plate. She said that we could scrape off the sauce, but she wouldn't ask them to redo our order. Truly terrible customer service and food. The vibes were not it.
