They had a biscuit, sausage, eggs, bacon, and breakfast potatoes. In another fridge was vanilla yogurt with berries, and granola. Cereal with options of dairy and non-dairy offerings. Apple, and orange juice. Muffins, apples, and bananas. Coffee, and hot chocolate. If you don't get full, shame on you. I was put off that are room was cleaned once during our stay of nine days. Cmon. The room was spacious. We got a killer deal through Priceline. I can't complain too much!

Started badly for us as soon as we flushed the toilet in the room as it was clogged? Not from us, but the previous people??? WTH? Then when I called down to the front desk they brought a plunger in a bag that had "crap" still in it! GROSS! Where's the maintenance guy? Isn't this his job? The king-size bed folded up almost to a V when I first sat on the bed. Shower doors didn't close properly spewing water everywhere. The remote control and TV were outdated and older...$20 incidental costs??? The parking lot had trash all over. The bench seat under the car/valet cover had a ditch in front of it...Cigarettes butts are thrown everywhere...With a little bit of effort, this place could be better! On a side note, people have gone crazy about "covid" rules...For 55 years it's the "flu" and if your traveling and don't want to get sick, put a bubble around yourself and protect yourself from awful diseases! I can't wait until they start offering trips to Mars...Maybe there is a better place for some people! Almost forgot, this place is NOT The Four Seasons Hotel...If you see the guy that owns this place, he's most likely the guy that owns 7-11's...

I thought the business didn't exist even though I followed directions on Google Maps I had to pull over into a vacant parking lot, recheck the directions, make an illegal u-turn and drive slower to finally see the business. How in the hell do you expect someone to find your business when it's all the way in the back like you trying to hide and don't want customers? Aside from it being in an area I'm not familiar with the entrance and lobby is small but very clean. The room was very clean, let me tell you how clean it was after I walked into my room: My ADHD-self sprayed Lysol and wiped down the nightstands, dresser drawers, the table, television stand, microwave, recliner, coat hangers, bathroom sink, the sheets and pillows, the bed and headboard. I even sprayed the damn floor! The room was very clean because I used one of white washcloths to spray and wipe everything down and didn't see any brown or dark residue. Bravo, Housekeeping

Our front desk clerk, I believe her name was Megen, was very nice, welcomed us, and gave us the lowdown of the property. It is actually very nice. The rooms are spacious suites, with a large fridge, microwave, dishes and cups, a desk, and a kitchenette counter area with a coffee maker. It would seem to be a place where people might have extended says, for business or personal. To that end, they don't provide housekeeping services until you've stayed 7 days, though the sign seem to say that they would do a full clean of your room if requested even if you stay less than the seven days. There is no complimentary breakfast, which is unusual for the hotels we typically stay at. Parking is free, though if the hotel was real busy you might have to park in the back where the dumpsters are (we didn't have to). When we checked in and after we had dinner, we did not see any business people, but did see a few interesting characters. Still, we felt v ery safe. Our room had double queen beds. They were more comfortable than the other two hotels we stayed at on this trip, but I still was awakened with hip and back pain. The bathroom sink space allowed for both of us to have our toiletries, and there was a nice walk in shower with doors instead of curtains, which I thought was a nice touch. The shower water pressure was just OK, and the bathroom fan did not seem strong, though it did the trick. There are a few good restaurants within walking distance, including a brewery right across the street, though we did not go there. Within a short drive there are many more options. The hotel is set back a few miles from the freeway, so it was very quiet. Except for the AC in the room, which when on, was VERY loud. Otherwise, it was very quiet. All in all, we enjoyed our stay in our clean and spacious suite at a very reasonable rate. Very nice for a stopover. Layton, UT, seems like a great place.

Small gym with 2 cardio devices, a couple weight benches, and decent set of dumbbells. Living area and bedroom had separate climate controls with thermostats which worked well. Didn't notice noise as a problem. Needs improvement: the furnishings are getting toward the end of their service lives. Not shabby looking, rather the cushioning of the beds and couches are on the downhill side of the peak. The dining service utensils were too few. Almost no spices provided for cooking. Stainless steel saute pans (I don't have the knack to keep food from sticking) are not my choice for cooking. No oven, btw. Summary: a nice room that's a step up from a regular room at a pretty good price. We'd stay here again for sure.

The front desk agents answered all our questions, have suggestions, and even upgraded me to a room with a balcony and mountain view! The cooks and bartenders were also kind accommodating. Pros: - The hotel appears to have been renovated in 2014, and our room was clean. - The customer service at the check in desk was fantastic, and the staff were very friendly. - The beds were quite comfortable. - Location is walking distance to a shopping center featuring a Target and Barnes and Noble. Cons: - The A/C unit in our room was outdated and inefficient. This was a big disappointment for me as someone who likes to sleep cold. Our A/C was running full blast for the 72 hours we were here and I was still sweating at night because our room was so warm. Not only was the unit weak, it also pointed at the desk rather than the bed. So one tiny corner of the room got nice and cold while the rest of the room (where we slept) stayed quite warm. - The customer service at the bistro/coffee bar lounge was nonexistent. Twice during my stay I went down to order something and could hear and see people in the back kitchen rummaging around or talking, but no one ever came out to assist. Waited 5-10 mins each time before giving up. - The mountain views we were promised at check-in by the very nice employee were entirely blocked by a tree. I didn't hate our stay here, but I would explore other options in Layton if I had to stay here again.

Kinda scared us at first, but the AirBnB we had first reserved was much worse. Like spooky movie scary. Bed here at La Quinta was adequate and reasonably comfortable. Room overall was satisfactory for us, a dog and cat; however the sink drain did not drain and the fixtures were well worn and in need of replacement. Everything in the room seemed to work including the TV. The overall hotel fixtures are in bad shape and in need of replacement. My first impression was that of, "this place just got bought by someone, and needs a lot work". Carpets are hideous. We were so grossed out that we didn't even stick around for coffee and breakfast the next morning. Just grossed us out. Parking is in the back and the front of the hotel has no check-in parking and if you use the very large parking lot area in front to park, you'll be asked to move or risk getting towed. This seems to be a rather pet friendly hotel as there are multiple grass areas for walking those that need walking. The luggage carts consisted of one laundry mat clothing basket thingy and a dolly cart from Harbor Freight. Really unimpressive and cheap. Not a good spot unless, like us, were very desperate. Dicks

It was a suite but with a bathtub (nothing was said when we checked in). We had reserved the roll-in shower for my mom not randomly. We went back to the front desk and inquired about getting a room with a roll-in shower since that is the room type we reserved and needed. The previous guests had been allowed to extend even though that particular room was reserved for the nights they wanted to extend. So, we were out of luck. It was a holiday weekend and they had 2 rooms left, thankfully one of them had a walk-in shower but just 1 queen bed and a sofa sleeper. The walk-in shower was most important for my mom's safety, so we made the queen room work. They did comp me one night, which was a good gesture. The next day, when I received a text asking how my stay was, I gave it a 2. I then received a text asking if they could call me. They said they called me three times; however, my phone never rang. The manager was to call me the next day; however, it was a holiday so the manager was not in but would call me the next day. We checked out the next morning prior to the manager arriving and was assured the manager would call me and likely email me (the front desk confirmed my email). I asked them to have the manager leave me a voice mail if I was out of cell service when she called since I would be driving in remote areas. I never received a voice mail or an email, and it is now 10pm (same time zone as hotel). I do not recommend this hotel and definitely will not stay there again. There are many, many hotels to choose from.
