However, as of late and unfortunately within a number of years the grasses have litter and dogs' feces are not picked up by their owners. Today I and other renters at 34 Metropolitan Oval have called for our elevators to be repaired but it hasn't happened. Why? I certainly pay my maintenance fee monthly as an owner of an apartment but unfortunately a service person has NOT come to repair our elevators in our building. Again, Why is that? The type of tenants here sadly have changed drastically. I have someone above my apartment 4D excessive constant noise There is some kid upstairs who is running constantly for hours. I was advised to call parkchester security which I did. The lady during the lease signing advised me to check to make sure the tenants have rugs or carpeting covering their floors. ( They clearly do not have rugs or carpeting) It sounds like a fat heavy elephant is walking around. When my parents moved into parkchester decades ago it was a requirement for tenants. People blast music without any consideration for their neighbors. My floor thank goodness so far is quiet but the constant noise from above my apartment is crazy. Parkchester will not be able to retain decent tenants with these kind of people living here. Also they charge 3000 dollars to break your lease. I had a housing connect apartment which I turned down for this I should have listened to my daughter and taken the housing connect apartment. I've been here less than a month and I am ready to move. The building I grew up in people I knew cared about parkchester and tried to keep it nice I see that has changed unfortunately its sad to see what used to be a nice place to live is like the projects now. Look elsewhere. If anyone knows who lives in 1605 metropolitan ave apt 4D let me know if prior tenant had problems with these people.

Do not do business with this company. I answered and received an apartment for which Jason Western…read morerepresented as the realtor. It turned out to be an fire hazzard. An illegal basement apartment that the owner had no business renting. Water accumulated in the walls throughout the apartment within months creating horrible mold and damaging my furniture. He didn't do his due diligence as a realtor and made sure the apt was violation free and legally rentable. I ended up having to move out. Meanwhile I find out after moving out that instead of his advised 1 month rent realtor fee Jason walked away over $5000 of my closing fee money including my security deposit in some kind of side deal with the owner of the apartment. Jason Western is a scammer who should have his license reviewed and revoked.

Like that right there feels weird!! The broker also mentioned not to call my bank to get my money back either.. It was mentioned, If i qualify it will be used as a down payment towards the fees.. but still. I personally wasn't comfortable with giving $1k for an "application". Like i have never heard of this.. especially this day in age. if it looks like a scam, feels like a scam... ITS A SCAM!

There were claims that his site is inaccurate and that they don't know what those postings are or they aren't up to date. That isn't exactly my problem. We were told that he would get back to us in a few days, and its been a few weeks going on a month and we still haven't heard from him. And this site telling me that the response time is around 20 mins is absurd. Youre 20 mins late 3.5 weeks ago. Website - epitome of laziness and lack of professionalism.
