Also, he makes excuses for his unprofessional behavior. It is never ok to call a customer names via text message. A person of integrity would not do that which speaks to his maturity level. If you want a professional, dependable, knowledgeable contractor this is your guy. A call to him on a Friday morning brought him to my house 1 hr later. His bid was fair & accepted. Four days later he took down my 5000 lb 45 ft tall palm tree that had grown within 6 inches of my roof line & was between my house & neighbors fence line. Due to my trees location he had to take his time in removing it, as to not damage anyone's property. Sent pictures and asked for quote to have 3 trees removed. Got a call the next day said he can come out Saturday at 11am. Never came. Called me the next day and said he didn't have the truck he needed and apologize, fine with me. I give him a call back to reschedule the quoting and he says he can come the next Saturday. I rearrange my Saturday to be able to home. Saturday comes and goes he never came nor did he ever call. The way I see it he obviously isn't in need of the job. Very disappointed considering he worked so well for us in the past as you can see from my previous review. The 20' tree in our front was swaying and being lifted by the roots. This was honestly terrifying. We called numerous tree services and Charles called us back within minutes. He came by shortly after and called over an assistant. They quickly took down the tree and worked into the night to clean up the mess. We also feel the price was very fair for such a quick resolution to our emergency situation. Charles came over right away to figure out an estimate for me, and it was more than fair. He was able to come out the following week and got everything done in a few hours. His team (along with himself) were very professional, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. They did everything we asked, and we couldn't have asked for better service. One thing that I really appreciated is that Charles really knows about trees. I'd ask him a question, and he would have the answer right away. The crew did an amazing job on both trees. The crew was friendly. I am very happy with the look of both trees. They crew was able to climb and naviagte fences and debris in neighboring yards. We called Charles to remove a tree that had fallen in our yard and another one that was dead and would fall over soon. Charles said he was finishing up a job and would be over shortly to give us a quote. When he arrive he gave us a quote and said he could do the job right then if we wanted. We decided to go ahead and in less than an hour him and his son had taken down the dead tree and removed both trees. The work he does is excellent. He is extremely knowledgeable and was able to help guide me in the right direction.
