Also, he makes excuses for his unprofessional behavior. It is never ok to call a customer names via text message. A person of integrity would not do that which speaks to his maturity level. If you want a professional, dependable, knowledgeable contractor this is your guy. A call to him on a Friday morning brought him to my house 1 hr later. His bid was fair & accepted. Four days later he took down my 5000 lb 45 ft tall palm tree that had grown within 6 inches of my roof line & was between my house & neighbors fence line. Due to my trees location he had to take his time in removing it, as to not damage anyone's property. The 20' tree in our front was swaying and being lifted by the roots. This was honestly terrifying. We called numerous tree services and Charles called us back within minutes. He came by shortly after and called over an assistant. They quickly took down the tree and worked into the night to clean up the mess. We also feel the price was very fair for such a quick resolution to our emergency situation. Charles Schwab's Tree Service is as good as it gets. I needed some stumps ground, a big fruit tree trimmed, and a Sago palm trimmed as well. Charles came over right away to figure out an estimate for me, and it was more than fair. He was able to come out the following week and got everything done in a few hours. His team (along with himself) were very professional, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. They did everything we asked, and we couldn't have asked for better service. We called Charles to remove a tree that had fallen in our yard and another one that was dead and would fall over soon. Charles said he was finishing up a job and would be over shortly to give us a quote. When he arrive he gave us a quote and said he could do the job right then if we wanted. We decided to go ahead and in less than an hour him and his son had taken down the dead tree and removed both trees. Can't say enough about Charles. He is very responsive. He was at my home just a couple days after I called him (probably would have been sooner if my schedule permitted). The work he does is excellent. He is extremely knowledgeable and was able to help guide me in the right direction. Charles Schwab's Tree Service was the slightly higher estimate of the two, but we were sold on Charles' professionalism and how promptly he returned calls.
