Charles is an amazing Barber! MUST READ on how to get to Charles. You must walk through the main entrance past all the barbers in the front and he is the SECOND DOOR ON THE LEFT!! There is a sign hanging on the door. Or just ask for him only upon entry. What I loved about my experience with him was how detailed and interested he was in getting me the best look possible. I went in there for the first time and asked Charles to take over with his best recommendation and he did. His customer service is by far the best I've seen in the barber industry. He has become my regular barber and I will be back to see him. Remember to walk through to the back or ASK FOR CHARLES!

So I normally have a close friend of mine cut my hair but seeing as they were out of town I needed to figure out my options. Sitting at home with my hair a mess and the thought of a big meeting the next day, I needed to find a barber who could deliver a supreme reliable cut that wouldn't leave me wearing a hat till my hair grows back. So I went through the Yelp reviews of local Barbers and found Charles who appeared to be quite knowledgeable and skilled in his line of work. Needless to say I walked into headliners and found Charles located in the back green room area. I showed Charles a picture of what I wanted my hair to look like and BAM! no BS guys he delivers. Very clean cut and fade work. Charles knows what he is doing. I would recommend Charles to anyone who needs a new barber that wont wont mess your hair up. You can't beat Charles's fade work! I've been living in California for almost six years and this is by far the best barber I've been to. He's very detail-oriented and strives to get the customers ideal haircut which he mastered. I am a local to Claremont, and needed a barber who would be consistent and up to my wife's standards since my son would be going with me. Literally the best barber around. I wait 3 months, while I'm going to school in Missouri to get my hair cut, just because no one does it like Charles does. This man turned me from an ugly rag doll to a good looking guy. He's also more interesting than any hair stylus, he knows how to have a good conversation no matter the topic. This guy is the worst. If, for some reason, he no longer wants to serve you as a customer, he will deliberately cut your hair wrong, leaving you wondering what the hell happened. He also has something against anyone who is not a Christian. God forbid you believe in any other religion because that's going to spark a serious debate with Charles, who is going to say anything to convince you that you are a sinner. According To Charles, God will undoubtedly punish you one day for being a nonbeliever! Steer clear of this wacko at all costs! read more

I've always been able to grow a beard but I never did because I didn't know who to go to or how to take care of it. I got a recommendation to go see Charles the barber at Headliners. I was skeptical because of the fact I had never been there or heard of him or the place. Well let me tell you it was the best decision I've made in a long time. Some words on Charles The Barber: -made me feel welcome right after walking in -gave me a hell of a fine haircut -imparted a lot of useful advice about styling and maintenance -had me out of there looking good in basically no time at all I highly recommend reaching out to Charles to make an appointment. I've been still in search for a go to barber for months since moving to LA. Charles had superb hospitality and and customer care. He made it really comfortable from a customer's point of view and very much satisfied with the cut I've asked for. I even enjoyed the tunes he was playing during the cut. Literally writing this in my car in the parking lot. Charles hooked it up with hands down the best haircut and beard lineup I've ever had. Super chill dude, we jammed to some music while he did work. Great experience. I'm getting married tomorrow, and he went the extra mile to make sure I looked good for my future wife. Told him what I wanted, he did warn me it was going to be pretty short, but with the heat and how often I actually go for a cut and trim, decided it was worth it. Got a haircut and beard trim. It was a pretty good cut and trim. Ivan was attentive and there weren't any cuts or bumps. He kept the conversation going here and there. Made sure I got what I wanted. Took about 40ish minutes, a bit longer than one of the spots I go to but I also got a hot towel here so that accounted for the additional time. Price was $50 which is a bit more than the franchise chains but a bit less than another independent own barbershop by my house. Very clean and roomy shop they have here with great barbers and personalities. If I was in the area and wanted a cut, I'd definitely go back.
