Been coming here for the last few years and plan to make it a lifetime membership. The shop is nestled in the Northwest end of the parking lot and offers a variety of men's cuts to people from all walks of life. Leo is the business owner and an all around stand up guy. Not only does he run a solid business but he treats each and every one of his customers with care, patience and of course a killer fade. Prices are extremely fair and all the barbers do a fantastic job every time I come in. Would recommend this shop to anyone and everyone. read more

Took my 3 year old for a haircut, everywhere I've gone it's difficult he fights it, i see the frustration in people cutting his hair. Not hear, my son had the same reaction but Miellenia was patient, her co-workers were all understanding and help calm him. I am truly grateful and amazed. This is my second time bringing my kids and Junior has been amazing. He really pays attention to detail and my older son really likes how he's attentive when cutting your hair. He also cut my younger sons hair today with just scissors and did a great job. Both my kids are very satisfied with their hair. We will definitely continue to come with junior . The shop is clean , has ample space to park and takes walk ins and appts. Side note : as a mom I appreciate that we are in and out quick with him. He isn't on his phone when cutting hair or having side conversations with other customers or coworkers. That shows dedication to the trait and professionalism read more

Price was $50 which is a bit more than the franchise chains but a bit less than another independent own barbershop by my house. She really took her time and checked in with me multiple times to make sure it was what I wanted. She was very sweet and her work is amazing. The nails were immaculate 3 weeks later when I came in for a fill. I didn't catch the name of my tech on my second visit, but wow she was fast. Multiple times through the service she paused to check in that I liked the length, shape, color, design etc. I appreciate that so much because we all know it can be hard to speak up when something isn't quite what we want. And omg she was fast. She removed my previous design, filled/shaped, and painted in just 40 mins. Such a excellent experience 10/10 The salon itself is clean and very cute. The pedicure chairs look new still. I recommend calling and making an appointment if you intend to try them out, they can get pretty booked.

I also added callous removal to my pedicure and felt like she barely scrubbed my feet, I had to go home and do it. The pedicure was not great but I like the manicure.

There's so much I have to say about this place! Amazing experience and very friendly barbers all around. The atmosphere is great, been here 3 times and each time they had really good movies playing. Now time to talk about my cut, it was done to perfection and with a lot of patience. My barber was Manny and I had scheduled an appointment with him. I was his last client and they normally close at 4:40 and my appointment was at 4 so he was kind enough to still cut me up. Manny was excellent from the start. Took his time and was in no rush even though I was his last client. He darkened my beard and my taper was so clean. No other barber has took that much time on cutting my hair. Just shows that he actually cares about the qualities on his cuts and his craft. Once the cut was done, he asked if he could take pictures of my cut and by all means I was all for it. The cut was amazing. He was in no rush even though I was he only client and the shop was already closed for 30mins after he was done with my cut. He really knows how to appreciate his clients. This has been one of the best barbershops I have been to in a while. My son is four years old and Kay has a way with kids. He made my son feel very comfortable and was extremely interactive. He has a lot of patience and skills. His design and braiding skills are amazing. He is a very unique and talented barber. Evaluating all of the barbers they carry a sense of pride and joy when cutting hair. They interact with all of their clients and leave them looking and feeling good. Yes it may be loud at times, however it is a barber shop. Any time my son was brought into the barber shop the television was changed to the appropriate channel without me mentioning anything. That shows a lot of respect to their clients and I appreciate it very much!! I Would definitely recommend this Barber Shop to any mothers out there looking for a great spot to bring your kids and family to get a hair cut! read more

I moved to neighboring Claremont a year ago not knowing where my son and I can get a haircut. Tried a few local establishments locally and wasn't very convenience. I'm sure something was missing from my experience while I sitting in the chair. Came across (Upper Cuts) and Leo welcomed my son and I. Decent size shop, cool waiting area with tv's playing and other times music. Really feeling the vibe. Listening to the barbers having a conversation about the most random or most recent happenings is great It only wants to make you join in. My first experience here was awesome. I'm sure I'm usually not their clientele because my hair was around 10in+ long. With that being said they were very easy going and helpful with my longer hair. I've tried different places in the area and I couldn't really get what I wanted but these guys know their stuff! I didn't make an appointment so I had to wait a little longer than most granted I didn't book an appointment so I suggest doing so. I was there with the barbers all working with a small line waiting for 15 to 20 minutes. All in all I'll definitely be coming back next time I need a clean up. read more

Upper Cuts is the most solid barber shop in the area. With decent competition in the surrounding area, they continue to set themselves apart by consistently providing the highest quality cuts. Customer service is always amazing and the atmosphere is always warm and inviting. They develop great working relationships with their customers, I never feel like just another customer who comes and goes. They all remember their regulars. This has become my favorite place to come to, before i would go to any barbershop n get a haircut until I came here and realized what a great haircut is supposed to look and feel like. The young men were very nice and funny, they also performed a hot towel shave! I didnt even know barbers still did that! It was very relaxing. I have been coming to Uppercuts Barber shop for a couple of months or so. I'm always warmly welcomed and treated exceptionally. Every time I leave, I feel like a new man. Especially today. I had for the very first time a classic hot towel shave. It was heaven on earth while sitting in that chair. I took my kids here for the first time, the barbers welcomed my kids and I right when we walked in. There is a tv and Leo put on a movie to keep my boys occupied while they got their haircut! Everyone was great..best of all nobody smelled like marijuana and they were professional. Which is hard to find these days! We will be going back again! These dudes are the homies!!!! Watched Leo, Sam and Jerry start off in some a shop so small they could barely fit 3 barber chairs in it.
