A good listener is the key to advocating for your own health. He gets it!!! Recently, had a prescription filled and it came back generic. The generic scip is not equal to the brand. PERIOD! The prescription items I need, such as stimulants and azaleaic acid, are often out of stock. I know that can happen at any pharmacy, so I don't hold that against them. My biggest issue is the service. The pharmacists and pharmacy staff often present as though they dislike their job and the customers. Today I was told by a staff member that an item I needed was not available to order and I had to call other Walgreens to see if it was available. She also stated that she could not transfer my prescription to the other Walgreens pharmacy locations. Imagine my surprise when I finally located my medicine and the staff member at that other location was easily able to retrieve my prescription from this location. I don't know if that staff member was misinformed or simply lazy. Either way, it left a bad taste in my mouth. This is a very frustrating pharmacy location.

I used to love this pharmacy but it has gone extremely down hill and the personnel working at the pharmacy are also extremely rude with absolutely zero customer service. They will promise you a script will be ready, and then when you call back a few hours later, they will say they don't have the medication and it won't be ready for another few days. Unfortunately, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Wouldn't be surprised if this place goes out of business soon.

In addition to personal care products, they also carry blind boxes, plushies and snacks from Japan. It's a small shop, but it's very tidy and well-organized. Unlike the store in Japan, the vibe here is much more relaxed- no crazy loud music and announcements, but it probably gets crowded on weekends. There was only one person on staff during my visit. She was super welcoming and helpful. Definitely worth a visit! :)

My experience today with the pharmacy technician, Gaby, was completely unacceptable and upsetting…read more I was under the impression I could pick up both of my prescriptions, but instead of handling the situation professionally, Gaby exhibited a deeply disrespectful demeanor. She forced me to repeat myself multiple times and essentially made me yell out the specific medication I needed in a public space, which felt like a massive violation of my privacy. Even after I went and sat down to speak directly with the original pharmacist to sort out the issue, Gaby continued trying to shout things or talk over to me across the room. The pharmacist's excellent customer service AFTER HER was completely overshadowed by Gaby's unprofessionalism and total lack of discretion. I hope management addresses her behavior. Thank you again to the lady after, and I apologize for my part in the matter.

I…read morehad enough disappointment at CVS and decided to transfer my Rx to this Walgreens on Carson St in Lakewood. None of the clerks I interacted with seemed to have much experience. I went in once to initiate the transfer, and a second time four hours later to check the transfer status, make sure they had my contact and insurance info correct, and learn the medicine was on order for the next day (because they didn't bother to update me). Sure enough though, despite having all the info in front of their face, the techs/pharmacist managed to botch the insurance and drug company copay assistance processing. So when I went in to pick up my Rx, they had to reprocess it. The bottom line is they are just as uncaring and incompetent as CVS was. Next refill I will be transferring to another pharmacy until I find a good one. I would recommend to anyone to stay away from this pharmacy for at least 6 months to a year from when this review is posted to give them time to hit rock bottom and re-staff this location with a better people. In the meantime, it's just not worth the frustration of being dependent on employees who are not interested in doing their job.

She never explained that the result would look completely different from the photo. I ended up with something nothing like what I asked for and still paid $150 for it. When I expressed my concerns, she said it was "pretty," but that doesn't change that it wasn't what I requested. She offered for me to come back, but after this experience, the trust isn't there. She also required me to pay through Venmo as a Friends payment even though this was a business service, which leaves customers without any protection. If this happens to you, you can report it directly to Venmo, and you can submit concerns about improper business practices through the IRS's public tip form.(IRS Form 3949-A -- Information Referral) Based on my experience, I wouldn't return.
