But only several months later, we found that grass has grown into our brand new driveway and was about to destroy the whole driveway if we do not do anything about it. For the money we have paid, This is one hundred percent non-qualified job from a "professional" contractor. We tried calling, left messages, no response at all from this contractor. Buncha people have asphalt driveway in our neighborhood with no barrier, they do not have problems of grassing growing into their driveway...the barrier was added by ourselves recently.

Evan coordinated removing the sheds and rocks, building a dry-well to fix irrigation issues, installing a patio and sod and building a fence. There were also some permitting issues that required altering plans and delays due to terrible rain storms and they worked around all of these issues well. Over all it was a great experience. I'll be hiring them back for seasonal cleanups.

Evan trimmed them beautifully, and they look so nice in a new bed of mulch! That was a pretty small job, but it came out great! Also had a patio put in this summer and my lawn was torn up really bad by the bobcat and other machinery for pouring the concrete. I wanted some sod to get it back up to speed quickly and Evan came thru again! Got it all done in one day, and the sod looks great! He gave me good instructions on how to keep it going during the heatwave, regular watering in the AM and evening, but not at night. It's doing great so far and I'm very pleased with E&J Landscaping! They do a phenomenal job -- my property always looks great afterward. In addition to the quality of the actual work, I have also found it easy to communicate and work with those in the scheduling department as well as management. Whenever I email them, I routinely get a response in 24 hours (and often times within the same day). And on the day of the work, someone in a supervisory/management role will typically be on hand to make sure everyone is on the same page before the work gets started (especially if I have a specific request or if something has changed from the previous season). It's things like that that will make me continue to use/work with Dooley in the future.

We were initially given a window so we were delighted to be the first job of the day. There was a massive tree in our yard. So massive that neighbors finally became annoyed with the overhang of vines and weeds so it had to come down. The crew came prepared with all manner of tree cutting and disposal machinery and tools. The whole system involved several trucks that took up a good portion of the street. These guys were thorough and professional. Several cars had to be moved out of the way one of which was dead. No problem. They jumped it and moved it as well as another for a disabled neighbor and when the job was done they put the cars back in their original spaces. They cleaned constantly throughout the process. Living in a row home meant most of the trunk had to be carried out through the house. They handled that part just as well. Do read your contract, they spell out many specifics like how much of the trunk of our tree could be cut down because it had begun to grow into the fence. This should make clear your expectations. Highly recommended.
